After another thirty minutes, Davina felt calm. Still in her sister's office, she glanced at her watch. And the nurse had said, in thirty minutes. Jagad put on his doctor's coat and took one of the patients' documents.

"Are you going to start practicing?" Davina asked, looking at Jagad.

"Yes. But if you still want to stay here, go ahead. There are no patients yet. I'll visit the treatment room first."

Davina then stood up quickly from her chair. "I'll just go," she said quickly before Jagad walked out of her room.

"Are you sure?" Jagad asked again, still worried about Davina's condition. But her crying had long stopped indeed.

"Yes, I'm much better. Maybe I'll go see Danas," Davina said. "I wonder how she's doing now."

Jagad's eyes grew bigger, this time he took a step closer to his sister. "But you can be careful, right?" Davina was silent for a moment. "At the very least, don't make me worry. You know where it is and you can get hurt anytime."

Davina understood the meaning of Jagad's request. "I'll be careful and take it easy."

" Okay. What's your ride there? I can't take you," Jagad said, looking at Davina with concern.

"I can take an online taxi," Davina replied with a smile. That made Jagad confident that Davina would be fine.

Along the way back to Melvin's house, Davina tried to calm down. She knew what her brother said was true.

Davina was sure that if her intentions were good, it would end well. Davina stopped to buy some fruit. Usually Danas would prefer oranges to apples. So, Davina bought the fruit.

She happily walked into Melvin's mansion. Some of the hoverers in the house already knew her. So, there was no problem when Davina just walked in.

"Mrs. Danas is in her room, right?" Davina asked one of the servants in the house.

The maid nodded but looked scared. "What's wrong?" asked Davina immediately urging the maid to speak.

"Nothing, ma'am. I'm sorry, I'll be excused," she excused herself hurriedly and with a frightened look on her face.

Davina was suspicious, something was unusual, had something happened to Danas?

Davina's heart pounding even harder, she quickened her pace towards Danas' room.

Davina was still close to the entrance of Danas' room when she heard Danas' scream. Davina stopped her steps, his scream seemed to be very painful, what happened? She thought.

Davina then quickly looked into Danas' room from the doorway. What Davina saw was unexpected. Renata was sadistically beating the helpless Danas.

Renata was hitting Danas who was lying down weakly. Then, she was on top of Danas, riding his body. She almost strangled Danas' neck.

" You're dead!" Renata screamed like a person who lost her mind.

The oranges that Davina was holding in a plastic bag fell down.

Melvin, who had just returned from work, saw the rolling oranges. He saw where the oranges came from. There was Davina who entered Danas' room. Melvin quickly ran towards Danas' room as well.

"Stop it!" Davina screeched. Her chest was so tight that it wasn't Danas who was in pain, but Davina was also in pain.

Melvin who saw the incident, raised his eyes. He couldn't believe what Renata was doing. "Stop it! She's going to make Danas die!" Melvin exclaimed loudly.

Renata, who was blind-eyed and crazy, didn't realize that Melvin was coming.

"Die!" Renata screamed repeatedly.

Melvin was furious, he immediately pulled Renata's body from above Danas' body. Then he threw her away. Renata who didn't expect the culprit to be Melvin could only freeze.

"Melvin" said Renata in disbelief, at the same time, there was also disappointment in her heart. She got up quickly.

Renata, meanwhile, approached Danas, asking about Danas' condition. "Are you okay?" Davina's face looked very worried, while Danas was still coughing violently.

Since there was no answer, and he was still coughing until his face was red, Davina was even more worried.

"Melvin, I think we need to call a doctor here," Davina said in a squealing voice.

Melvin's focus on attacking Renata was broken by Davina's screech.

Melvin was also worried about Danas who was coughing. Without asking many questions, Melvin immediately took the cellphone in his pocket. Then he called the doctor who used to treat Melvin. However, Renata, who wanted Danas to die, immediately grabbed the cell phone and threw it in any direction.

Melvin's eyes widened as he turned to Renata. "What the hell?!" Melvin snapped.

Davina knew that Melvin had failed to call the doctor. So, Davina called her brother to come and check on Danas.

"What the hell? Do you realize what you did to Danas?" snapped Renata as if not to be outdone by Melvin. "You told me you didn't love her, remember?"

Melvin was at a loss, the man froze, unable to answer. Then his eyes blinked. "But she's my wife, it's my duty to take care of her, you know?"

Renata snorted, fuming with anger as she crossed her arms. "Men, it's the same everywhere. You don't love her, but you want her body, right? You fucking whore!" accused Renata as she glared at Danas, the woman's coughing had gotten less and less severe.

Davina was still rubbing Danas' back to make her friend feel better.

It wasn't Danas who was angry that Renata shouted him a whore, but Davina who immediately dismissed Renata's words.

"What did you say? You're the slut!" she accused back.

Renata's eyes widened, who would have thought Davina could accuse her like that? "What, so you are now Danas' henchman? Do you know what Danas did to your best friend?" Renata demanded.

"You jerk!" said Davina, "Now, I know everything," she screamed out loud, her fear gone since a few hours ago. Now, Davina can be sure that she will reveal the facts.

Danas who heard Davina's words rubbed the back of Davina's hand, as a sign that Davina should not get carried away. But Davina didn't seem to care what Danas did.

"Facts?" Renata said with a laugh. "What kind of woman are you, what facts are you going to reveal, huh?" challenged Renata while approaching Davina. "Are you going to reveal who this little bitch really is?"

Melvin was outraged that Renata had accused Danas of being a whore. So, Melvin's hand flew up, slapping Renata's cheek.

Renata's eyes widened to look at Melvin, no less furious. As much as Melvin defended Danas.

"Watch what you say. Do you realize how much Danas has sacrificed for you? You're the one who deserves to be accused of being a whore!"

"Melvin!" cut in Renata unhappily. "Have you forgotten who I am? Who you are? What have we done, huh?" The woman sulked, how could Melvin dare to slap her. "And you now..." Renata's eyes started to well up with tears, then looked at Danas who was still deathly pale. "Because of that woman, you did this to me?"

"We'll see, after Melvin finds out about that fact," Davina chided. "Will he be able to love you again?" Davina said sarcastically and filled with hatred.

Renata naturally panicked in her heart. "Melvin will always love me, won't he, darling?" she asked, her eyes looking at Melvin with hope that he would answer with a 'yes'.

But Renata's guess was wrong, Melvin was actually curious to death about Davina's words. "What facts do you mean?"

Renata sighed, feeling weak when Melvin asked that.

Davina was silent, then turned to Danas who was still lying helplessly. His coughing had stopped Davina felt relieved herself.

"You can already talk. Danas," Davina seemed to give the signal. But Danas still looked limp. He couldn't even raise his hand. "Do you want me to help you sit up?" Davina offered gently.

Renata crossed her arms over her chest, smiling sarcastically. "Now he can't do anything," she said, inwardly regretting the time when she tried to strangle Danas. Why did Davina come so soon? And damn it, Melvin had gotten home from work, even though it wasn't his working hours.

Davina rolled her eyes, annoyed with Renata's attitude.

"You better shut up, Renata! One more time you talk, we're breaking up!" Melvin threatened without a care in the world. He was also fed up with Renata's behavior-whatever she wanted to do. Melvin did love Renata, but Danas was his wife. Melvin should be able to take good care of her. And protect her from Renata. "Stop bothering her!" Melvin said angrily.

"Davina, quickly take Danas to another room, I'll take care of Renata first."

Renata was furious, Melvin was still defending Danas, while Davina did as Melvin said, taking Danas to another room. Carefully carrying him away from Renata.
