Chapter 37: Chapter 37

Danas was standing in front of Davina's house, carrying a lunchbox for her best friend.

Danas rang the doorbell.

It didn't take long for Tania, Davina's mother, to open the door.

"Oh, Danas. How's it going? Haven't seen you at home in a long time," Tania exclaimed with a smile from Danas.

"Yes, Aunt. Danas is busy. Is Davina there? Danas wants to meet Davina and also Danas brought Davina's favorite food," said Danas saying the purpose of his arrival.

"Just go up, she's in her room."

Danas didn't move, she was still in the same place. "No need Auntie, Danas-"

Seeing Danas' attitude like that, Tania understood what happened between Davina and Danas.

"Vina... Come out, there's Danas. She came with your favorite food, Come on."

Davina, who was in the room, heard her name being called and went outside, but when she heard Danas' name, she decided not to open the door.

"Davina doesn't wanna meet Danas, Mom." Davina chose to answer by yelling, making Danas hear her best friend's answer.

She didn't know Davina was that angry with her. Tania looked at Danas with a stiff smile.

"She wants to see you, Dav. Bring your favorite food." Tania tried to persuade her daughter to come down and meet Danas but she didn't come out.

Davina, though, was drooling over the food Danas had brought but she was still upset, dismissing his wishes.

"Danas is tired of cooking for you." Again Tania tried to persuade Davina to sleep.

"Let it go," Davina refused from upstairs.

Danas could understand if Davina didn't want to see him but he had to clear up the misunderstanding between them. He wanted to tell Davina what had happened.

"Let it go Auntie if Davina doesn't wanna meet," Danas said with a smile.

Tania couldn't bear Danas being rejected by her daughter. "Did you two have a fight?"

"Just a misunderstanding, Aunt. Danas was wrong," said Danas.

"Ah, I see. I hope your problem will be solved soon."

Danas smiled slightly, then nodded slowly. "Danas left Davina's favorite food, yes, Aunt. Please convey Danas' message if Danas is waiting for Davina at the park. Danas will wait for Davina there," Danas said as he handed over the meal he had brought with him.

She cooked that special meal just for Davina. Even though she knew that Davina would not meet her, she still cooked the food and brought it for her best friend.

"Aunty will tell Davina," Tania said as she followed Danas out of the house.

Tania saw Danas's back moving away, making her immediately enter the house and go upstairs.

The sound of the blow on Davina's shoulder sounded so loud accompanied by Davina's scream.

" Mom, it hurts!"

"Why don't you come down and see Danas for a while?" asked Tania.

Davina didn't answer she was busy playing with her cell phone, not answering her mother's question. She really didn't want to talk about Danas at the moment.

" She left you your favorite food and a message. She's waiting for you in the park. I don't know what park that is, but I'm sure you know. Go, after you eat, solve the problem between the two of you," Tania advised then left Davina who was watching the food given by Danas.

Even though Tania had told Davina the message Danas had given her, the princess did not budge as if she was not worried about Danas who was waiting.

It was getting dark, Danas was still in the same place waiting for Davina, he believed that Davina would come and talk to him. But it has been several hours waiting for his best friend to come.

Danas could have left but was afraid that Davina came and didn't meet her. That made him choose to stay there.

"Davina. You didn't go to see Danas?"

"No, Mom."

"But she says she'll wait for you."

"Yes, that's her business. Davina didn't ask her to be there, most of the time she'll come home later," Davina said.

Tania could only sigh rudely at her daughter. However, she was worried about Danas because the clouds looked overcast, she was afraid it would rain and Danas was still waiting for Davina.

Sure enough, it didn't take long for the rain to fall. This made Tania even more panicked and worried at the same time. Jagad, who had just come home, saw his mother pacing back and forth in confusion.

"Mom, what's wrong?"

"That, your sister doesn't want to leave the room. Her friend is waiting for her," Tania said softly. "They had a fight," Tania added.

"So why are you worried?"

"Her friend said that she would wait for Davina at the park but your sister didn't wanna go. I'm scared that her friend is still there waiting for her, and it's raining."

Jagad understood what his mom was saying. "Jagad will go see if Davina's friend is still there or not," Jagad said and went out.

Tania was confused, about how Jagad would go see Davina's friend while he didn't tell her where it was.

"What are you thinking Vina? Even though you two are having an argument, it has to be like this too," Jagad muttered and then drove away.

Even though he only guessed the place, Jagad still went there. Jagad felt he knew the place his mom was referring to so he rushed to the place. And sure enough, there was the girl who was waiting for her brother. Sitting under a tree, fortunately, the tree was shady enough to be used for shelter.

From afar, Jagad felt he recognized a figure that was familiar to him. The closer he got, the more he recognized the figure.

"Danas? W-why is she here?" Jagad asked himself. But he remembered his mother's words if Davina's friend was waiting for his sister. "Is Davina's friend Danas?"

Although the question had not yet received an answer, Jagad immediately approached Danas who was taking shelter.

"Danas, what are you doing here?" asked Jagad, he saw that the clothes Danas was wearing were wet, he could conclude that Danas had been waiting for Davina for a very long time.

"Oh, Doctor Jagad. I was waiting for a friend but it seems she didn't come," replied Danas smiling.

Seeing Danas' condition, but still able to smile. Jagad thought he would give a little punishment to his younger brother.

"You should have waited somewhere else."

"Ah, that. I'm scared if she comes but she finds me, so I'm waiting for her here," Danas said clarifying the reason why he was still waiting for Davina.

"Come on, move to another place," Jagad suggested. "How about just waiting for her in the car?"

Danas who had been sitting squatting stood up but his head was quite dizzy and his body was already cold. Suddenly he lost consciousness.

"Danas-"

Jagad screeched as Danas' body fell to the ground. He was unable to grab her body before she fell. "Oh God. How could you wait for my sister like this, anyway," Jagad grumbled and picked up Danas who had almost lost consciousness.

"Sister?" Danas still asked softly before he lost consciousness completely.

"C-can you take me home?" When she asked that, Danas was unconscious, making Jagad sigh harshly.

Jagad carried Danas to the car and wrapped his cold body around Danas. He could feel Danas' warm body.

"Oh, God. She's got a fever," Jagad said and started the car.

He was in a hurry, when he thought of taking Danas to the hospital but hearing Danas' plea made him undo his intention. Finally he decided to drop Danas off.

Tania, who was in the living room, checked her cell phone several times hoping that Jagad would give her news soon. Seeing that there was no news, she took the initiative to contact her son.

"Jagad, how is it?"

"Jagad has found her, Mom. Jagad will take her home," Jagad said and then turned off the call while starting the car engine.

Melvin, who returned home first, found Danas who hadn't come home yet and was annoyed. He couldn't even contact Danas.

The doorbell rang, causing the housemaid to open the door.

"Madam!" Christina squealed at the sight of the unconscious Danas.

Melvin looked at the door, his eyes sharpened when he saw Jagad holding his wife in his arms. Especially with wet clothes.

"How did you come together?" asked Melvin looking at the unconscious Danas. "Tell me, how-"
