Chapter 3: Chapter 3

"Why did you marry him?" asked a man who had just come in and drank some vodka.

"Why are you still asking. I want to make her suffer."

"By marrying her, then it makes Renata frustrated. Selfish."

Regan stared at the man in front of him, shaking the glass that was filled with beer and a few pieces of ice in it.

"Isn't it enough to bankrupt her family, and take over the company?"

"No, I will make her suffer even more, crawling on me, begging for my mercy."

The man in front of Regan could only shake his head. Maybe the man thought that if Regan was a demon incarnate in the world, how could he torture a beautiful girl like Danas.

"Don't treat women like that, you will get karma, Re. Your wife is beautiful, even a designer, independent again!”

"Shut up, I don't want to listen to your judgment about that girl."

"If you don't want it, just give it to me."

Grep ...

Regan grabbed the man in front of him by the collar. "She is mine!"

"Relax, I'm just kidding. After all I can't possibly take a woman belonging to Raka Regan Naraya," said the man while letting go of Regan's hand, and grabbing his shirt.

“Very well, if you understand, Delta.”

The man he called Delta, took a sip of the vodka served earlier for him. "Thanks," he said to the bartender, who was wiping glasses.

Ilawana Delta Mahameru, an architect and Regan's best friend. The man who had been the designer of Regan's entire building for the last few years. A man who had repented of approaching women, even though Delta is a man who is known as a playboy by dating almost all students on his campus when he was in college.

“You guys ordered drinks without me?” asked a man who had just arrived, patting his two friends on the shoulder.

"Want to drink?" Delta asked.

“No, if I join in drinking no one will drive home, am I right? Moreover-"

"Alcohol is not good for health, you always tell us, doctors of the Universe," Delta sneered while sipping his drink.

“Dare you call me that again, I made you—”

"You are as usual, Ja."

The man, Jagad, could only tidy up his jacket.

Ilalang Jagad Rahwana, a surgeon special, handsome, has a promising career in medicine, and he is a single man, just like his two friends who have many female fans, but his heart has not yet found the right girl to fill his heart.

"So how about your wedding?" asked Jagad.

"You didn't even attend my wedding, and are asking me now."

"Sorry, I wanted to attend but something happened that required me to perform emergency surgery."

"Going well," Regan replied.

Seeing the look on Regan's face made Jagad raise an eyebrow. "Why? There is a problem?"

"The problem is, he's not married to Renata."

"What does it mean?"

"My point is he didn't marry Renata, but the girl he made suffer."

"The girl he made suffer?"

“That girl, that girl whose family was bankrupted.”

“Wait… wait… let me think properly. Regan didn't marry Renata, but another girl."

"That's right, Ja."

Bukh!

So fast, a punch flew to Regan's cheek. Even Delta was surprised by what Jagad had done to their best friend.

“Fuck!” Jagad cursed. "You're dating Renata but you're married to a girl whose life you make suffer, where are your feelings Regan? Huh?!”

The corners of Regan's lips were cut from the punch Jagad gave him. He knew he deserved it. Jagad may be a different man who, more precisely, appreciates a woman's heart.

Delta tried to calm Jagad, who was emotional at that time.

"Jagad, calm down!"

“I can't let him have his way, you two make me sick. Playing with women, like having no self-esteem. Look at you, Delta, when Sea walked away from you, the regret you got, and I'm pretty sure if this asshole was even going to accept it, he would be sorry for what he's done.”

"Shut up, you don't know anything. You know, he doesn't even feel guilty after what he did, he even asks me what he did wrong. Making his life suffer is the best thing.”

The atmosphere is getting tense. Some people even saw two people arguing in front of the bartender's table. Delta didn't know what to do. He could only break up the fight between her two best friends.

"I will not regret having done it," Regan said as he took his jacket and put it on then left his two friends.

The man stepped on the car's gas very hard, causing the car to speed through the streets of Jakarta.

Several times he hit the steering wheel because he was annoyed.

“Aarrgh!” he shouted, pulling the car over.

His feelings were so irritated he tried to call, but the call was not connected at all, making him even more annoyed.

"Ren, please pick up my phone," he muttered while trying to call back the same number, but it didn't connect.

Instantly his phone was thrown into the car seat in annoyance.

“This is all his fault,” Regan growled as he started the car and stepped on the gas.

His hands clenched the steering wheel very tightly, making the muscles in his arms pop.

It didn't take long for him to arrive at his Mansion.

The sound of a car door slamming was heard, coupled with the door being closed so loudly.

“Danas… Danas…” the man called filled with emotion.

He threw his jacket on the sofa while his shirt sleeves were lifted to his arms.

"Danas ..." he called out loud, making the owner of that name suddenly wake up.

Hearing her name being called, she immediately went downstairs and found Regan with a face filled with emotion.

“Y-you called me?” asked Danas haltingly.

"Why do I have to call me so many times, don't you hear me calling you."

“S-sorry, I fell asleep.”

“S—sorry, you say?”

Again the man tortured Danas, this time instead of grabbing his neck but strangling the girl.

Shocked face, frightened look. Danas tried to remove Regan's hand from her neck. The man wanted to kill him.

“Who told you to sleep at this hour? You think I brought you here, to sleep?"

"Le-let go, ka-you're going to kill me," Danas stammered.

Her voice was choked, and he had a hard time breathing. The man in front of her was suddenly angry with her without him knowing the reason.

"Apparently you are afraid of death."

Instantly a devilish smile appeared on Regan's face, his grip was getting stronger, Danas' face turned red, and her hands patted Regan's hands to release the man's stranglehold from her neck.

The man in front of her was very different from the friendly man he used to know. Men are full of hatred. There is no more compassion for her.

"Am I going to die today?" asked Danas in his heart. "If so, I'm sorry mom, I can't take good care of myself," he said again.

Now she's resigned to what the man was doing to him.

"I really hate the face you're showing me," Regan growled as she pushed Danas's body making the girl fall to the floor.

Hosh! Hosh! Hosh!

The girl could breathe freely again while holding her neck. Her body stiffened as Regan drew closer to her, she tried to back away to get away, but the man kept following her.

“You deserve this, you deserve to suffer. You murderer."
