Chapter 178: Chapter 178

“You hold my heart, my joy, and my life in your hands. If you wish to crush it, I don’t have the strength or even the balls to resist your will,” Lucien was seriously declaring his surrender but the last part of his statement made Brianna giggle.

“No balls, huh?” she playfully sneered.

“Well… I do have them…” Lucien cleared his throat as he tried to defend his masculine pride. “But… They are for a different purpose…” he added as he stood from his spot to help Brianna do the same.

“Is that so…?” Brianna was provoking Lucien with words she had fished out of his.

“Babe…I can prove it to you…” Lucien confidently stated.

He was now standing with his right hand held out towards Brianna for her to hold as she stands from her sitting spot on the ground.

Brianna was already tipsy and the spirit of alcohol was ruling over her but she was perfectly aware of what she was doing. The difference was the restraints on her expressions of emotions and reactions towards everything.

Had she been sober, she might have concealed some of the words and personal feelings that she was able to make known to Lucien. She let her honest thoughts slip out of her mouth like she had never done to anyone before, not even to Jack Foster. But Brianna was also aware that she was able to do all these because she was somehow comfortable with Lucien already. Because if it wasn’t so, Brianna wouldn’t even drink. She would never take a sip of any drink that would turn her drunk. But since Lucien had already declared to keep her as his wife without any chance of divorce as she has declared firmly, Brianna was partly trying to scare him. Showing Lucien a side of her no one had ever seen.

“To see is to believe…” Brianna replied as she smirked at Lucien. Brianna did not back down. She accepted his offer of hand to stand and swiftly got up, then she dusted her butt, and then, she poured the remaining liquor on her dad’s tombstone.

“I will be back in a few days, dad, mom,” Brianna uttered her goodbyes for now to her beloved parents. Then what she said next made Lucien feel stiff all over. “Someone has to prove something to me, I believe you will excuse us if you don’t us doing it here right in front of you, guys. I love mmmm!”

“Anna!!!” Lucien covered her mouth with his hands, reprimanding her greatly. “She drunk, sorry dad, mom, I will take her back when she is sober,” Lucien bowed at his parents-in-law’s grave with Anna in his holds. One hand was wound around her midways, while the other hand was still covering half of her face, preventing her from saying anything more.

Brianna did not resist Lucien’s lead to take her out of the cemetery. She could have easily gotten free from his hold if she wanted, but she was enjoying the thought that Lucien was so embarrassed by what she was blabbering right in front of the Peters couple, whom Lucien honored and respected so much.

Instead of removing Lucien’s hands off her face by her hands or in any way with force, Brianna playfully licked his palm. But Lucien did not react the way she expected.

“I will give you whatever you want when we get home and have our privacy…” said Lucien as he changed his hold on Brianna. From holding her midways, Lucien lifted Brianna on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes in the wet market.

Aside from the fact that Anna’s parents’ graves were right in this place, and doing such a nasty thing would have appeared disrespectful, Lucien was also aware that there were their security men watching them from a distance. They may not clearly hear their conversation, but if they make love there, they might turn around and give them privacy, but no one would be sure if they would do as the boss’ would have expected his men to do and respond to such a situation. It was still unacceptable on Lucien’s part to do such intimacy on a whim without privacy.

Even the thought of doing so makes him feel repulsive. He was a man, and he was proud of his possession, but Lucien did not want to share such a view of his beloved girl being watched by other men doing what should be done without any interference or audience.

Brianna’s laughter filled the whole place as all there was were silence. The birds nearby must have been startled by her boisterous laugh that they suddenly fled.

“What if I want it here and now?” She asked, daring the man. Trying to annoy him.

“You will have to forgive me because I won’t do it,” Lucien replied nonchalantly. “You deserve way better than this place.”

“And where do I deserve to get slayed?” Brianna asked with a titter.

“Slain?!” Lucien roared in an equally boisterous laugh at Brianna’s words.

“Yes! I guess that is what I expect to happen to me,” Brianna boldly admitted.

Lucien had to stop in his tracks as his laughter was making him lose focus on his balance. He was also cautious not to let Anna fall from his shoulders. He suggested she move to have her on his back, a piggyback.

“Babe, if I may have to tell you this,” Lucien spoke with obvious adoration. “On the contrary to what you seem to expect…” he intentionally left his words hanging.

“Go on…” Brianna urged the man. “Tell me…” she expressed amusement in her words, not moving much as she leaned her chin on his shoulder, speaking softly to Lucien’s ear to her side. “You are going to be served, worshipped, and loved until you beg me to stop,” Lucien chuckled. He was still feeling tickled as every word left his lips, but no longer as loud as he did earlier.

“You might need to elaborate and explain those words to me, Michaelson,” Brianna spoke softly. “I don’t think I am familiar with such vocabularies.”

Brianna was being honest to say her opinions.

“You’re smart, I am sure you will understand them well as soon as I get my chance to show you,” Lucien replied gently. “And you will get used to them as they will always be around us for the rest of our lives.”

“You make it sound so exciting,” Brianna sighed.

She started to yawn.

“Have a rest,” Lucien suggested. “I will wake you up when we get home.”
