Chapter 113: Chapter 113

"Go! Go! Go!" They heard a man's voice over the monitors as soon as they got seated.

On the screen, a few troops of soldiers in all black invaded the whole building without hesitations. They were like big black cats walking stealthily into the enemies' lair. They were directed to surround the entire building from all directions, leaving a few men behind while the rest found every possible way to get into the main target of their mission, that is, to save a girl along with a former comrade of them, Tatum Elliott.

It had been years since Tatum went on a mission with the team, but they never neglected to send him updates of how things were in the army. Besides, he is also among the top priorities to receive the latest inventions of the weapon research team as he is the personal security personnel of Lucien Michaelson.

"How many men did you send?" Asked Leandro as he keenly watched the first batch of men to invade the place directly from the roof of the coming down from a stealth helicopter.

"I believe I have sent more than enough according to the estimated count of men there is in the whole area," Andy replied. He showed the digital blueprint of the structure. The monitor also showed the images of every human in the vicinity with red-shaded images from the night vision camera that they were able to send out under the control of a soldier nearby. They can only see the infrared images of people, but they cannot identify them from afar. So there was no way to know who they were looking into from this camera. It would show clearly like Tatum's view if the soldiers get in and engage closer as they also have the contact lens camera just like Tatum Elliott was wearing, which the enemy has not noticed yet.

"Good, good! Tell me, do I have to kill this asshole or let him go but put him behind bars for the rest of his life?" Leandro asked thoughtlessly.

"The choice is yours," Andy replied with a silly grin. "Both can happen, you know that."

Leandro snorted. As always, Andy had never interfered in his decisions when it came to dealing with his enemies. It only happened when his wife died in the hands of his envious enemies, and Andy was furious himself when he knew what happened to the late Sara Michaelson. He personally stood side by side with Leandro as soon as he heard about what happened, and he surrendered his badge and gun to his superior because he wanted to stand by Leandro's side had he wanted to avenge his wife's death. And Andy sweetly accepted the disciplinary actions from his behavior without the slightest regret. Andy, Enzo, and Leandro were the only ones to barge into the Bennings that day, and they were only after the culprit of the crime, but some of his men and family members stood their ground protecting their master, and so the bloodbath happened.

"Well, let's see how this goes," Leandro took a deep breath. "Have you connected with Enzo?"

"Yes. Here, you can talk to Lucien as well," Andy handed Leandro a wireless earpiece.

Leandro did not waste time speaking with his assistant and ask how his grandson was.

"Grandpa, I can hear you. Don't worry about us, we're fine. We met with the soldiers General Lockwood had sent by the entrance of the building. We are about to get in," Lucien replied calmly.

Enzo and Lucien's team had to be dropped from a distance to the target area to avoid being detected of their arrival by their enemy while the soldiers Andy had sent came by a military stealth helicopter, so they landed closer. The former team sneaked their way into the vicinity, and when they got close to the building, the soldiers were already arriving.

"Do as they say, okay?" Leandro reminded Lucien firmly. "They will know what to do."

"Copy that, sir!" Lucien replied snappily. He was still anxious to get Anna out of this place, but he knew he would make people around him uncomfortable.

The troop started to move in, and as they already had eyes and ears of the whole place through the camera drones that flew around the area with extreme cautiousness yet with the sharpness of the details, they needed to acquire being met. They knew where to step and avoid as well as what to do to take their enemy down with less blood pool. It's not that they were kind humans avoiding death. It is the cleaning of the mess they do not want to put themselves into. It's part of the job. They are also aware that some of these men are only after the compensations they could get to provide for their family while others are forced. The only way to find out is when they get captured alive and interrogated. Some of the soldiers now came from the military's rescue missions, so they know how it is to be in such a situation.

Tatum could hear a line trying to reach out to him, but he could not speak as someone was posted right next to him to watch his every move.

"So finally, we got you, huh?" a man with a pair of blades on his lower legs walked into the room where Tyler Bennings and their two captives were.

"Yeah, I told you why I wanted to have this Big B, but you haven't told me why you are so dead set to have her alive as well," Tyler chuckled, turning his eyes from the newcomer back to Brianna.

"Well, you see these legs I have?" the guy answered as he walked closer to Brianna. "Guess who cut them?" He asked as he shot Brianna with a deadly glare.

"Who me?" Brianna asked with disdain. She could not even recognize these people, but they seemed to know her.

"I wasn't sure it was you at first glance today because it was dark when I met you years ago, but the more I look at you, I can tell, it wan no other than you, the famous Big B in the world of Assassins." The guy answered with hatred but with self-control as well.

"Why would you want me alive then? Do you want to cut me with your bare hands? Or your blade legs?" Brianna was provoking him intentionally. She had already noticed Tatum was conscious even in his position, laying flat down on the ground.

"On the contrary, I want to count you on our team. As much as I hate you, I respect your abilities," the guy answered.

"And I feel so sorry for you wasting your time and effort with a man like Charles Anderson. He doesn't deserve you," the guy stated with a hint of mystery as of he knew something Brianna did not, about the person everyone knew as her keeper.

"I am not interested whatever you know about whoever," Brianna replied with her famous straightforward character.

"I am no one's dog on a leash. I bark and bite on my own," she scoffed. "Some of your men even calls me a Bitch, well I maybe am, and I might just be that crazy bitch to bite you all with deadly rabies. Beware," she added.

A loud sound of a hand slapped on a face replaced the silence in the room. Tatum was startled that his head lifted up to see what had just happened. His camera caught a view of Brianna with a broken corner of her lips and bleeding. It was the first chance Tatum was able to check on her condition. She was chained with her hands behind her back, and the chain was connected to the ones on her feet as well.

"Count every slap you make because I will return them to you doubled. I suggest you never give me the tiniest window of chance to do that," Brianna gave Bennings a fierce look in the eye as she spoke with nerve-wracking calmness.

The man walked back with fear on his face, but he tried to hide it with a mocking smile. Only to stop as he noticed no one among the people around him laughed like he was doing.

"I wonder what she is going to cut from you when she gets the chance," the man with prosthetic legs teased Tyler as he watched the man walk back to his seat. "I tried to kick her with my legs before she cut them with a samurai sword in one swiss."
