Chapter 93: Chapter 93

As Khushi mustered up her courage to escape the confines of her house, a sudden twist of fate confronted her.

Just as she prepared to slip away, a mysterious man emerged blocking her path.

"Don't try to escape from me, dear as now you are sold to me." The man said, coming hell close to me.

He calmly claimed that he had purchased her, stripping away any glimmer of hope for freedom. With her heart racing and her mind filled with apprehension, she found herself at a crossroads.

" Who are you? And how dare you to come this close to me? I am not a thing for sale, whom you bought and tagged as yours.", Khushi said, pushing the man away from her.

"Oh! Really? Let me tell you then, that your mother has sold you to me and the deal is fixed now. They got the money and I got you."The man whispered and showed me the pictures on his mobile proving his statement where my mother was signing the documents and in return he gave her the money.

In a shattering moment of realization, Khushi's world crumbled around her as the bitter truth unfurled.

Waves of anguish crashed over her, and she struggled to comprehend the depth of this betrayal.

Confusion mingled with heartache as she grappled with the devastating revelation, questioning her very identity and the trust she had in her step mother that no matter how much she troubled her but in no way she would stoop so low and do something like that.

However, rather than succumbing to despair, a flicker of resilience ignited within her.

She steeled herself, refusing to yield to this man's coercion.

"Now that you have seen the proof, don't create any drama and come with me.", The man responded, sternly.

With a steely resolve and unwavering determination, she looked into his eyes and firmly rejected his claim.

In that moment, her voice rang out, filled with strength and defiance.

She declared her refusal to be bound by his transaction, standing tall and refusing to be reduced to a possession.

"No.. Never.. I am not bound to obey you. I am not going anywhere with you." Khushi said, mustering up her courage.

Despite the fear pulsing through her veins, she summoned her courage, prepared to fight for her freedom and reclaim the life that was rightfully hers. But fate has decided something else for her when her words made the man angry.

"How dare you not obey me?"The man slapped her hard on her cheeks which made her fall on the floor.

She did not understand what was happening for a moment, holding her cheeks. She turned herself to face the man, when the man injected her with something she did not understand and soon darkness consumed in front of her eyes.

"If you will not obey my instructions then I have many other ways to let you follow me.", The man said, smirking and called his men to take her with him.

As the Khushi's consciousness slowly emerged from the depths of sleep, her groggy mind struggled to comprehend the unfamiliar surroundings.

Panic washed over her like a chilling wave as she realized she was no longer in her house but was locked in a small room.

Bound by the cold grip of fear, she discovered herself kidnapped, her heart pounding in her chest and she remembered everything that happened to her before she fainted.

Confusion mingled with terror, her thoughts racing as she desperately sought an escape from this nightmare.

"God! Please save me. I don't know what to do and how to save myself from this mess. Please show me some path to escape from here and start my new life. I also want to explore this world and have a happy life like others.", Khushi talked to herself feeling helpless in her heart, tears welled up in her eyes.

" Crying is not the solution to any problem. Even God helps those who help themselves. I have to do something to escape from this man's grip. I have to think about an idea, keeping everything beside.", Khushi's heart talked to her, challenging her to stand for herself.

The door got unlocked and a black man came with a plate full of fruits and juice in his hand.

" Hey! Girl have it and get yourself ready. We are having a flight at night and we are going to leave soon.", The man informed, forwarding the plate towards her but Khushi did not move and acted like she was still faint.

The man sat beside her to check after her when Khushi suddenly woke up and kicked at the man's stomach.

The man held his stomach and screamed in pain. That was when Khushi finally got the chance to run from their hold and she ran as fast as she could.

With her life hanging in the balance, Khushi sprinted through the darkness, her pounding footsteps echoing in the desolate streets.

Behind her, the relentless pursuit of the goons grew louder, their sinister presence an ever-present threat.

Fear fueled her every step, pushing her to the limits of her endurance as she raced against the encroaching danger.

Her heart thudded in her chest, a constant reminder of the stakes at hand.

As she didn't eat anything since last night her stomach started growling in hunger. Her muscles strained. She pushed herself further, refusing to succumb to exhaustion, driven by a fierce determination to elude her relentless pursuers.

Each stride she took brought her closer to the sliver of hope that lay ahead—a chance for survival.

The cacophony of footsteps and heavy breathing grew ever nearer, but Khushi refused to give in to despair. She knew that surrender was not an option, that her life hung precariously in the balance.

Adrenaline surged through her veins, granting her a temporary burst of speed that propelled her forward, her body a blur of motion.

With every ounce of energy she could muster, Khushi pushed through the pain and fear, her willpower eclipsing the overwhelming odds stacked against her. Her determination to survive radiated through her, fueling her desperate escape, as she raced towards the uncertain sanctuary that awaited her.

"Run Khushi. Run for your life. Run as fast as you can.", Khushi spoke.
