Chapter 91: Chapter 91
Abeer took her night suit in his hand and went towards the switch board to switch off the lights of the room and soon darkness spread all around.
The moment Abeer's hand touched her cold hand he felt an electric spark run through his whole body. He closed his eyes instantly and took some steps back from her.
"I can't do this.. I really can't do this. What if she thought I was taking advantage of her situation? What if she took me wrong?", Abeer questioned himself, and turned on the lights instantly.
Khushi was sitting there without blinking her eyes. The shock made her statue who could not express her emotions to anyone.
" I have to do something to bring her back to normal from this shocked state.", Abeer said, looking worriedly at her vulnerable state.
Abeer started thinking, pacing around in the room. When suddenly an idea struck his mind and he went away from there looking for something.
Khushi did not move an inch and was staring at the wall silently in her wet clothes.
But something happened, hearing her eyes start blinking and finally she came back to this world from her shocking state.
"Help.. Help... Somebody please help me.. Pleaseeee...", Abeer was screaming at the top of his lungs.
Khushi looked around herself but could not find him so she came out of the bedroom, looking for him and was shocked to see Abeer.
Blood was flowing from his palm continuously and instead of treating it with first - aid , Abeer was screaming with his eyes closed.
Khushi immediately went towards her bedroom and came back with a First aid box in her hand and started treating his wound slowly.
The moment she touched his hand, he opened his eyes one by one to catch a glimpse of her.
"Don't do this.", Abeer said sternly and took back his hand from hers.
"Why? If you don't treat it right now, it might prove dangerous for you in future. Treatment should be done at the right time before it's too late.", Khushi responded, looking at him confused.
"Oh! Really? Then this theory should also work on you too. Before it's too late, even you should treat your invisible wounds, Khushi.",Abeer said, turning himself towards her, making a deep eye contact.
"Me.. I.. Me.. I..", Khushi started stuttering, realizing what Abeer was trying to do with her.
"Leave me alone, Arnan I really don't want to talk about anything.", Khushi said, looking here and there but not at him.
"I knew it. If you are stubborn, in that case, I am double stubborn. If you are not going to change your wet clothes before you catch a cold, then I will not also treat my wound, let the blood flow from my body. What will happen at most, I will die due to lack of blood in my body. Nothing more. ", Abeer confessed rudely.
" Are you mad? There is a difference in our situation, Arnan. Why don't you understand such a small thing? ", Khushi asked looking at him worriedly.
" Yes, I am mad. And no we are really not in different kinds of situations. It's just that you want to die willingly, but I will die due to your stubborn nature. ", Abeer said rudely, shrugging his shoulders.
"Okay fine. I am going to change my wet clothes then promise me, you will let me treat your wound.", Khushi gave up, finally, seeing his bad condition and she really never wanted to get it worse than that.
"Fine. Then go and come back, immediately. God knows how much blood was remaining in me. What if I die before you will come back so please don't take extra time.", Abeer said pointing towards his wound.
He willingly said this because he did not want to give Khushi one more chance to overthink herself and do any kind of stunt again to end her life.
Khushi hurriedly went toward her room and came back in 2 minutes, walking fast, as from her usual speed because she was really afraid for him.
"See, I came in two minutes, now let me treat you.", Khushi pleaded.
Abeer nodded and gave his injured hand to her and she treated it with applying ointment and bandage and after finishing she raised from her seat to go toward her room when Abeer held her wrist from behind to stop her going from there.
She halted in her way and turned herself to look at him with confused expressions.
"Now, it's my turn. Please allow me to heal your wounds.", Abeer requested with his pleading eyes.
Khushi could not understand what actually wounds he was talking about. The deep scars left on her heart after the incident which were invisible to anyone or the bruises she left on her body after the shower.
Khushi was busy thinking about this all when Abeer let her sit on the couch and started applying ointments to her bruises.
"I should have known he was talking about my these wounds. After all, how could he see or feel what I am suffering from now?",Khushi said to herself in her heart.
After treating her, Abeer went towards the kitchen and came back with an instant noodles plate in his hand.
" It's time for dinner. Now open your mouth and I'll feed you today like a mother does to her daughter. ", Abeer said, taking a spoonful of noodles on it.
"No, Arnan. I can't eat. In Fact I am really not in the mood to eat right now." Khushi declined his offer.
"How selfish of you, Khushi! I thought I would also eat with you. That's why I was waiting for you to wake up. But see, you don't even care about me.", Abeer tried to emotionally blackmail her.
"If you are hungry, please feed yourself. But don't ask me. I have lost my appetite right now.",Khushi said, sternly looking away from him.
"And May I know the reason behind this state?"Abeer asked, putting the plate back on the table.
"Why do you want it to hear from my mouth? As you really don't know.", Khushi responded, closing her eyes and turning herself away from him.
"Because I really want to hear what's going on in your mind, then only I would be able to heal your wounds which were invisible from everyone, Khushi.", Abeer confessed, holding her from her chin and making her look at him.
Khushi opened her eyes to witness Abeer in front of him and then only she realized that he was able to see her deep scars which she thought he was not.
