Silence all around was kind of killing Abeer.
"What was she doing there in her bedroom from the last three hours? She even did not come outside to check on me.", Abeer asked looking at the bedroom door which was locked from inside.
"Should I go and check on her? What if she get more angry in return?", Abeer questioned himself again.
"It seems like I have to ask and answer that question on my own because there is no one to answer it.", He added taking baby steps towards her room.
Abeer tried to listen inside activities by putting his ear at the door. But to his disappointment, silence was the only answer in return.
" So the great Mafia leader is eavesdropping on her. ", Abeer's mind mocked at Abeer.
"Oh! Just shut up. He was just concern for her that's it. And eavesdropping is not a big crime I guess and if it would be a big crime. Then also what? He could easily handle the cops as only his name is enough to let them shake in fear.", Abeer's heart explained making his mind shut in response.
" Oh! Just shut up both of you and don't try to teach me who I am? Otherwise you know the consequences very well. ", Abeer warned talking to himself.
" Excuse me? What are you doing here? ", Khushi's voice came from behind making him turn his head in her direction.
" Oh! Finally you opened the door. I just want to take some rest on the bed as my body is aching very badly so I just came to ask for your permission. ", Abeer lied, trying to make an excuse to escape himself from the situation.
"Yeah.. Sure... Why not.. I have completed my work. Now the room is all yours. Go and take rest. I am going to make our dinner. So for now, have a proper rest. I will call you when the dinner will be ready.",Khushi informed and leave the room without looking at Abeer.
" Why was she behaving like this? Why it feels like she kind of avoiding me? Here I was thinking of surprising her and look at her she was not ready to maintain a proper eye contact with me. Huhh! Now I'm not going to do anything for her.", Abeer announced and locked the door to call Luca to inform about everything.

" Just in few days my whole family get ruined and I could not do anything to save them. Just watching everything quietly.", Kabeer sighed holding the old family photograph of his whole family together.
The photograph was taken by a famous photographer of that time where the Mr. Kabeer Malhotra, his sons, Rajveer Malhotra and Logan Malhotra were standing holding each other's hand. And the ladies of the family, Mrs. Ember Malhotra wife of Kabeer, Mrs. Naira Malhotra wife of Rajveer and Mrs. Alexia Malhotra wife of Logan were sitting on a royal sofa holding their child, Abeer and Neil.
The smile on their faces were the living example of a happy family. But soon that family lost their bond and now it was not happy family as it was before.
"We tried our best to protect them from every evil eyes but what can we do if our son, Rajveer himself destroyed everything on his own.", Ember responded trying to console his husband.
"You know I had broken every tie with him since that day. I don't want to see his face after what he had done to our daughter-in-law, Naira. I will never forgive him for the sins he committed.", Kabeer said in his angry voice.
" Even if we want to forgive him we can't Kabeer because everytime I saw his face he let me remember about Naira and my heart ache remembering that horrible night which snatched the happiness of our family. Now you should take rest. The doctor has advised you not to take soo much stress so now close your eyes and try to sleep. ", Ember said, closing the lights of the side lamps which were there on both side of the bed.
Ember left the room after putting blanket on Kabeer. And went straight towards her, granddaughter Roselet's room to check up on her.
" Doctor how is my Rose? When will she open her eyes?", Mrs. Ember asked being impatient seeing her granddaughter lying on the bed like this.
"Mrs. Ember as you can see we are trying our best. But the problem is Roselet's body is not responding to any of our medicines. And if she doesn't try from her side then I am really sorry but even we can't do anything from our side.", The doctor informed, trying to explain the patient condition.
" And I will advise you to let her shift us in the hospital. It would be better if we treat her there as it would be comfortable for us too. ", The doctor suggested as deep down the doctors present there to treat Roselet was shivering in fear because they knew how dangerous they were.
And this Mafia family never miss a single chance to kill someone if the work was not done according to their choices. So the doctors suggested this idea to escape themselves from that place.
"Hmm.. I will talk about this topic to everyone and then will let you know soon. Till then look after her without any complaints. Otherwise you know the consequences.",Mrs. EMBER warned glaring at the doctors.
