Like Natty said, Helena is preoccupied with something more like someone. Helena doesn’t like to wait or watch someone do something. But Jasper keeps her waiting and watching Jasper practice skateboarding and learn some new tricks for the game.

Helena doesn’t want to come, and she doesn’t want to get involved with Jasper anymore, but Jasper keeps getting her to show up and watch Jasper train. Helena doesn’t want to admit it even as she keeps trying to look cocky, but in fact Jasper has carried out to make her mind change about Jasper. Maybe it was a good impression, or maybe she had been awed by Jasper.

Helena doesn’t realize that there’s a lot that has changed from her since meeting Jasper. Some changes she’s felt impossible to make. Although only a few days of getting to know Jasper has managed to make Helena wait for him, even though Natty who has been friends for a long time with Helena can’t make her do that.

Helena also thinks of things differently, as if her selfishness has faded. And the biggest thing is how Jasper shifts Alex from Helena’s heart and mind. Every time they’re with Helena it starts not thinking about Alex anymore, as if her feelings for Alex are changing.

“Want to learn to skateboard?” said Jasper with his sweet smile, walking up to Helena while carrying his skateboard.

“No, I don’t know how to play it.” Helena refused.

“ It’s okay, I can teach you. Come on over here.” Jasper convinced Helena to learn to skateboard.

Helena hesitates, even as she is afraid to step on her foot on a skateboard. But seeing Jasper’s smiling face and continuing to convince her made Helena willing to try. Helena sets foot on the skateboard and holds Jasper’s hand.

Helena was so scared that she kept screaming in fear as the board she was partying moved forward. Luckily, Jasper continues to hold her hands and continues to calm Helena down. Helena feels nervous learning something she never did, while Jasper looks pleased and smiles broadly. Maybe he’s happy to teach Helena or maybe he can hold Helena’s hand tightly, which makes his feel so happy.

After feeling a little calm because she could finally stand on a skateboard with both legs, Helena ventured to push the skateboard forward with one of her legs, but the skateboard advanced faster than she thought and caused Helena to lose her balance and fall. Luckily, Jasper was quick and caught Helena.

Their eyes meet so close, so close that Helena can no longer feel Jasper’s hands wrapped around her body because all her attention is only on Jasper’s eyes. The sly but also sexy-looking eyes continue to draw her attention as if Jasper’s gaze has captivated her.

They paused for a moment, staring at each other with a deep, sticky stare. Maybe they’ll keep cuddling like that if someone on a bike doesn’t pass them. Now they let go of the hug and started misbehaving and looking awkward.

Jasper looks nervous until he messes around and says something about the pigeon, even though no one asks him. While Helena kept dyeing her long hair and rubbing her auricles with her fingers. It’s Helena’s habit every time she feels embarrassed, and her blushing, blushing face also shows that.

Not wanting the awkward atmosphere to last much longer, Jasper invites Helena to sit on one bench and look at the river in front of them. Jasper then bought two bottles of cola and shared them with Helena. The river that stretches wide in front of them looks stunning when the orange rays of the sunset make the atmosphere feel so romantic. Jasper feels that it is time for him to express his feelings.

Jasper’s heart beats fast as he thinks he’s going to express his feelings to Helena. Maybe it’s too soon because they just got to know each other and Jasper also knows the chances of being accepted are very small. But he did it anyway, because Jasper was very confident in his emotions. And one of the things that convinced him the most was to think that this might be his last chance, and Jasper didn’t want to regret anything.

“ I know this might sound sudden, and maybe it’s too soon. But I’m pretty sure Helena would you be my girlfriend?” said Jasper with a stare in his gaze at Helena.

“ Isn’t this too soon? We’ve only known each other for a few days and haven’t seen each other very well. I’m not the person you think I am, maybe you’ll despise me if you see what I really am.” Said Helena.

“ No, I’ll never hate you. Even though we just got to know each other, I’m sure that you’re the only girl for me. My heart has felt you right away since we first met, and indeed if you’re not as good as I thought I was, I’ll never leave you. I will always be with you and protect you indeed if the world turns aside from you.” Jasper said while holding Helena’s hands and staring at her with a deep stare.

Helena looks into Jasper’s sparkling eyes with seriousness. Honestly, there’s still a lot of doubt in her heart, since she yet can’t get over Alex. What Jasper said was beautiful, and it was like a dream she'd been dreaming about, and she wished to live in it. But that thought she always wanted to be with Alex. Never once did Helena think about living that dream with anyone other than Alex.

People say to move on and forget someone who’s been in the past is to connect with new men. But love is not an item that if it is no longer used can be discarded and replaced with a new one. Love is a sacred form of human feeling. Love is so precious and can’t be replaced like stuff.

Even if Helena had convinced herself to forget Alex and was ready to find a new love, but the love that had been ingrained for years would not have disappeared as easily as the tree that had been cut down but still had its roots. Just like that love she’s been trying to throw away still has a mark on Helena’s heart.

Then, if there’s still a little love left for Alex, is Helena worthy of Jasper’s love and dating him like there’s nothing wrong? That would be so cruel. At least Helena wants to erase all traces of Alex first before she starts a new page with Jasper.

But to tell her heart, Helena couldn’t do it because she didn’t want to hurt Jasper at all. Jasper was a very nice man and Helena saw it. Jasper is like a precious person, a place where she can complain and feel more comfortable than a friend, and Helena fears she will lose a precious friend when she tells her mind honestly.

However, Jasper appears to know that while gazing into Helena’s trembling eyes with black glitter inside, Jasper seeing all of Helena’s anxiety and worries. Even though they just recognized each other, he could see exactly what Helena was feeling just by looking into her views. Jasper wipes Helena’s face with His warm fingers and smiles at her.

“It's okay if you're not ready now... I understand that. Don't push yourself, I don't want to force you to accept me either. I can wait until you're prepared.” Jasper said he understood what Helena was thinking.

Helena smiles, listening to Jasper's words because Jasper sounds so understanding and doesn't force her. Besides, she's not sure if she can forget Alex in a short time and everyone knows how much she's bonded with her growing love over the past few years. But she likewise didn't want to hurt Jasper and didn't need to lose someone so nice to her because for the first time she met someone who made her so comfortable.

“Are you okay with that?” asked Helena with her twinkling eyes.

“Yes, would you like to give me permission to make further? We also have enough time to go further little by little until you're sure.” Jasper and Helena nodded their heads with smiles.

‘ Some people say the best way to forget someone is to replace that person with someone else, but don't do it in a hurry because it's just going to make it hard for you to get out of the shadows of the past. But do it little by little until the memories of the past are gone because then you'll be able to be happy and open a new chapter.'
