“Is it okay for you to pick this?” asked Alex, who was worried after buying Ruby’s order of food.
“It’s okay, I always want to bite this. The meal in the hospital is terrible. “ Said Ruby.
Ruby took a burger and ate it. Ruby looks enjoying her burger, as if it is the most delicious food in the world. Alex, who saw how Ruby enjoyed her burger, could only smile and then stroked Ruby’s head. He also bit and smiled while staring at Ruby.
They both look happy together, making Helena who is standing distantly feel sad and jealous. Helena wanted to approach them both and sit between them, but after what happened she could no longer do that. She lowered her head and sat at one table only because Natty wasn’t with her. This was the first time she was alone like this among the crowd. It felt as if she was drowning in the crowd. Feeling empty and gloomy and lonely.
“Where’s Drake? Why isn’t he with us? Though he always follows you like chewing gum. “ Said Ruby.
“At most, he’s picking up his girlfriend.” Alex’s reply made Ruby open her eyes wide.
“Girlfriend? She has a girlfriend ?! Since when?” asked Ruby who was so shocked that her eyes widened.
“There it is.” Said Alex while pointing his finger at Drake who was stepping towards them along with Stellar.
Ruby looks quite surprised to see a beautiful girl walking beside Drake. It’s hard to believe her best friend loves a girl or is dating, even though she looks them holding hands in front of her. Just like other people, Ruby always sees Drake as a playboy and a lover of girls.
No one can hold his desire with girls. But thinking of himself as a man who only loved one girl, it was hard to imagine. Who would have thought Drake could fall in love with only one woman? It was like a miracle, but Drake did it. He fell in love and gave his heart to one girl who was visible in his eyes when he looked at Stellar.
“Where have you been?” asked Alex.
“We were discussing clothes for the prom in a few days.” Said Drake.
Suddenly, Alex and Ruby showed confused faces as if they didn’t see Prom would be there. Ruby can be understood if she doesn’t know because Ruby just returned to school. But Alex, Alex’s attitude who is always indifferent to his surroundings this time, makes Drake shook his head and even took a deep breath.
“In a few days there will be Prom, that’s why Drake and I started thinking about the clothes we will wear. Becoming the king and prom queen is an amazing thing and a dream for all high school kids. You must come too.” Said Stellar while showing the Prom flyers to Alex and Ruby.
Drake grabbed Alex’s shoulder then whispered in his ear “Prom is a great moment for you to express your feelings for Ruby. Don’t you like her? So take this chance and make her yours. “
Alex’s face turned red. He was embarrassed that Drake had said it so. Alex then glanced at Ruby, who was acquainted with Stellar. Seeing her smiling face made Alex’s heart beat fast. Yes, Alex does like Ruby. Thinking of Drake’s suggestion caused Alex can’t stop smiling, imagining what a wonderful night he’d been dancing with Ruby and then kneeling and telling her how he felt. Just imagining it made Alex blush.

Meanwhile, Natty was stepping with a glance around her. She was very alert, as if she didn’t want a single eye to see her like a thief afraid of being caught. She continued going alone and after making sure no one watched her, she jogged to the backward of the school.
