“You like someone? Who?” asked Helena with a blank look
There was someone, he said he loved me, and I could see that through his eyes. Even though I admire someone else, and he knows it, but he still loves me, so I think I will learn to love him. “ Said Natty with a faint smile.
“Then who do you admire?” asked Helena again
“Someone who is great, but I will end my love for him today. I just feel that I have to tell you because we are friends.” Said Natty trying to keep smiling, but her eyes tore up when she mentioned the word friend.
Helena didn’t realize the meaning of Natty’s trembling eyes. She could look at the sadness bead in Natty’s views but seeing her best friend smiling made Helena think maybe Natty had done the right decision. She didn’t know who Natty had previously loved, but she could get that it hurt Natty. All of this was visible in Natty’s eyes.
“Yes, maybe that’s the right choice. Loving someone who also loves you, and that is almost impossible for me. “ Said Helena then sighed and looked up at the sky.
The sky sees bright with blue that stretches out like an ocean. The white clouds that clumped together in various shapes ambled in the wind that blew them. Looks soothing and entertaining too. Helena suddenly leaned her head back on Natty’s shoulder as she continued to look at the sky. As if all her burdens have evaporated like morning dew that evaporates upward. She wanted the day to pass and everything that happened today disappeared like pollen blown by the wind. Fly without leaving a trace.

A new day came again, the singing of seagulls became Ruby music in the morning. She smiled broadly with her bright eyes. She looked so happy that she was humming while tidying her dresses. She took off her patient’s fits and changed into a school uniform.
After several days spent with difficult and tedious treatments, Ruby finally regained her freedom. They have allowed her to go to school again, although she still has to take her medicine on time. She is very excited, when she wears her backpack.
Ruby walked while humming, jogging and occasionally jumping for joy. It looked like she was so happy that even her father could only shake his head when he saw Ruby from a distance. Ruby likes freedom, and she is the person who prefers to be adventurous and very active, unfortunately she has a disease that makes her often have to limit herself. But now she doesn’t seem to care anymore, she doesn’t want to worry about anything and just does whatever she wants.

In class, Alex sits in his chair with the uninspired face he has been showing in recent times. With his blank gaze he glanced at the empty chair next to him then turned his gaze to the window and sighed. He felt worthless because the person sitting beside him had not attended class for a long time.
His days were flat and seeing the leaves swaying on the acacia tree from behind the window became a routine he consistently did without Alex realizing it. For several days his life seemed boring while she ever saw how the surrounding people enjoyed their day. Drake looks so happy spending his time with Stellar by his side.
“Alex.” A very familiar sweet voice calling out his name made Alex’s heart beat quick.
His heart was beating very fast just because of a call. There is only one person who has such a beautiful voice, a voice that can make his heart flutter. Trying to guess made Alex very excited, it painted even a big smile on his face and as soon as he turned his gaze, then seeing Ruby standing in front of the classroom door wearing a school uniform made Alex very happy. And with reflex, he stood up.
Ruby, who was also delighted to have returned to school, ran over to Alex and hugged him. All eyes were on the two of them, but neither Ruby nor Alex paid much attention to the annoying stares around them. Ruby, who was filled with happiness, continued to hug Alex while saying that she was delighted to be back in school with Alex.
Meanwhile, Alex looked surprised and confused as he glanced at Ruby who was hugging him. Ruby hugged as she want so that Alex was puzzled about how to respond. Even his beating heart seemed quite difficult to control. Alex was just so happy that he had trouble breathing. Then when Ruby let go of her hugged, Alex could breathe again.
“I’m delighted to be back in school, staying in a hospital is so boring ...” said Ruby with a spoiled and innocent manner that could make Alex smile just by looking at it
“Are you completely healed now?” asked Alex as he looked at Ruby with his caring gaze.
“Yes, it’s better ...” Ruby replied.
Alex also shows his caring side like a reliable man. He took Ruby’s bag and put it on the table, pulled out a chair so Ruby could sit beside him. Alex smiled and not a second left with the smile fading on his face. He showed very happy even though he just looked at Ruby’s face who was sitting next to him and talked eventually.
Ruby is a talkative person. That’s why she returned to school told how boring the days she passed while in the hospital. She mentioned him all the details and Alex will listen to all of it without feeling uncomfortable at all. She continued to listen to Ruby with a faint smile.
Maybe because Alex has fallen in love with Ruby. Everything she does always makes him happy, indeed if only her presence or listening to her soft voice is talking. Alex loves all, indeed the air he breathes when he is with Ruby feels so sweet that his entire world is filled with sweet scents.
Time flies so fast, like a gust of wind. The ringing bell boomed all over the school. One by one they left the classroom and filled the canteen. There are those who buy food and drinks to fill their empty stomach and there are those who only order drinks and prefer to gather to gossip. There are lots of things they can talk about like lessons, boys and unimportant things like the new makeup tool they are wearing.
Meanwhile, Ruby was sitting at one table waiting for Alex, who was ordering food for them while glancing left and right watching the busy people around her. It didn’t take long for Alex to come with two burgers and two sodas on a tray. He put it on the table and sat next to Ruby.
