Chapter 95: New Year Party

Jason's expression turned dark " what do you think I'm talking about? " He asked.

Isabella batted her lashes " aren't you talking about these Barbie princess dolls they recently launched, they are really cute " she smiled.

Jason pinched her arm " when did you become so dumb? I was talking about an actual baby, not a doll, " he said.

" Oh don't worry in the next two years " she said nonchalantly.

" It's so far, Alex and Emily are going to be parents, don't you feel jealous? " Jason asked, holding her hands.

" Why should I? There's no hurry in life. If you want a princess so badly then let's go get the doll before the shops close for the day " she said as leaned on the seat with her eyes closed.

" Fine I will just wait for two stupid years " he said as he started the car.

" Good boy, " she laughed sweetly.

The ride was quiet till Isabella broke the silence " Jason why do you always slip your hand into my nightie anytime I'm at sleep " she murmured with her eyes still closed.

Jason parked the car,and turned her face to his direction and realised it was the effect of the alcohol. " Cupcake, are you drunk? " He tapped on her rosy cheeks.

" No I'm not drunk, give me an answer " she said as removed her hair from her face.

" You are really drunk, you will be home soon, " he said.

" Tell me quickly, " she urged.

Jason chuckled guiltily " you don't need to know " he said.

Just then his cell phone began to ring " Jessica! " He muttered.

" Um Jessica, I hate her so much, Jessica Jason is mine get your slutty eyes off him " she suddenly began to scream.

" Shh Bella shut up " he hastily covered her mouth and picked up the call with his other hand.

" Jay, I just wanted to know if you have arrived home safely, " she asked.

Before Jason could reply, Isabella bit his hand and he let go of her mouth " fuck you Jessica " Isabella yelled.

Jason picked up the sellotape and plastered it on her mouth. " Bella shut up " he whispered.

" No, I will drop Bella home first, " he said over the phone.

" Oh goodnight then " Jessica said and hung up.

After he dropped his phone he removed the sellotape from her mouth.

" Give me your phone " she demanded angrily.

He passed his phone to her and she used her hands to clean her eyes " um where are your contact settings, ugh I can't see clearly " she asked.

" What do you want to do?" He asked.

" None of your concern, show me quickly " she said.

" Here " he gave the phone back to her.

" Um, take me to Jessica's name " she itched her head as she kept cleaning her eyes with her hand.

" Do you want to black list her? " He asked knowingly.

" Yes exactly that's what I want, '' she nodded vigorously.

" I will do it for you, " he suddenly said.

" Do it quickly, " she said as she leaned over to his phone screen.

" It's done, " he said.

" Let me see " she placed the phone on her cheeks.

Jason laughed " Bella just close your eyes, I'm begging you to fall asleep now " he said.

" Fine, I will close my eyes don't beg me to open them "

" I promise I won't, save me the stress, '' he murmured.

They arrived at Andrew's, he tapped her lighty " we are at your place " he said but she didn't respond.

" wake up " he shook her.

" Let me sleep, " she mumbled.

She opened the car door drowsily " give me a piggyback ride " she said.

" Sure " he squatted and she got onto his back.

" Why are you such a big baby? " Jason said as she placed her head on his back.

They went into the living room and there was know one, he took her to her room upstairs.

After he used the duvet to cover her up, he gently locked the door.

The next day, she got up from her bed and yawned. She pressed her lips together as she recalled some event that took place last night.

She checked her phone and she got an invitation to a new year countdown party tonight at 9pm to 5 am. She was still going through it when she received a call from Jason.

" Have been calling you for a while but you weren't picking " Jason said.

" I just got up, " she grumbled.

" Are you aware it's noon? " he asked.

" I know I know, I'm still sleepy, I will call you back later "

" Wait Missy before you hang up, I know you got an invitation for a new year party, don't go, just stay at home like a good girl "

" Excuse me, why can't I go to the party? Everyone from school is going to be there, " Isabella asked.

Jason sighs loudly " Diego from senior year is the one hosting the party and none of us are going " he said.

" But why, you haven't stated the reason, " she asked more curiously.

" The less you know the better for you, just don't go " he said and hung up.

The Miles Residence

The whole family was seated, having lunch quietly.

Alexander cleared his throat " Mom, dad I have an announcement to make " he said.

" What is it son? " Mrs Miles asked first.

Everyone averted their gaze from their food to Alexander wondering what he wanted to announce.

" Um, y'all know my girlfriend Millie " he paused to see their expressions.

" What happened to Emily? " Nancy asked worriedly.

" She's carrying my baby, " he said as he lowered his gaze.

Nancy froze for a while, his parents glanced at each other, Stacey's eyes were already watery.

" You mean Em.. Emily is pregnant? " Nancy managed to say.

" Yes she is, " he said casually.

Mr Miles wiped his mouth elegantly " all I have to say is that you must be responsible for her from now on " he said.

Mrs Miles nodded " your father is right, it is not bad if you start a family from now. Your dad and I will always be proud of you " she said.

" Is she with her parents for the New Year? " Mrs Miles asked.

" Well…. The thing is that she's not on good terms with her parents " he said.

He noticed his mother's expression wasn't looking good " mom don't get me wrong, Millie isn't a bad girl. " He quickly said.

" I would like to hear more from her, bring her over tonight for New year's Eve " Mrs Miles said.

" Yes mom, " he replied.

Back At Globex

The doorbell rings and Emily goes over to open up.

" You are finally here, I have been craving chocolate cake and I was feeling lazy to get it myself, " she began to complain.

" We will go get it together, " Alexander said.

" Great, let's go then, I'm ready, " she said.

" Um, I have something to say, " Alexander said as he took her to seat.

" Please don't, can we speak later, your son wants chocolate cake " she pouted at him.

" Let's go " he said and they walked down the street together.

" It's been a long time since we went for a walk together " Emily smiled and Alexander nodded.

" You will come with me to my place tonight " he said and Emily paused in her tracks.

" I would love to come with you but…."

" There's no but, mom asked me to bring you over, I finally told them that you are carrying our child " he said nonchalantly.

" And what did they all say? " she asked nervously.

" My parents are cool with it, " he said unceremoniously.

Emily bit her lips " do they really like me or are they doing this just for your sake " she couldn't help but ask.

Alexander pulled her into his embrace " what nonsense!You are so lovable that know one can even hate on you " he said.

Emily sneered " that little friend of yours hates me " she said.

Alexander laughed " come on is she even human? " He said and Emily laughed along.

After getting the cake from a shop, they were walking back to goblex when Emily suddenly said " I got an invitation to a New Year Party from school "

Alexander's expression turned dark " I forbid you from going to that party, we are staying at mum's that's it " he said sternly.

" Relax, I didn't say I'm going to the party, " Emily said.

" You better don't " Alexander said as he held her hand.
