Chapter 94: congratulations!!

" Bella, why are you acting like a baby? " Mrs Andrew said as she came into the room.

Isabella forced a smile " because I will always be your baby for life " she said as hugged her Mom.

Mrs Andrew stroked her hair " baby, I will be going home today " she said.

Isabella raised her head from her mother's chest " mom I want to come home with you it's been long we spent time together " she said with a pout.

" I know what you are trying to do Bella, you just want to use this opportunity to avoid Jason um " she said as she pulled Isabella's cheeks hard.

" Ouch!! Mom please, I want to spend time with you, just for a few days, " she said in a pitiful tone.

" Fine,you have five minutes to pack up, " Mrs Andrew said.

" yay thanks Mom I love you so much " she said happily as she got up to pack.

Hours later, Jason got back to Harrison's Manor. He went into the bedroom but couldn't find Bella. He was quite curious to know where she is but he had to uphold his pride.

He checked inside the study and the garden but she wasn't there, he met Paisley on his way back to his room.

" Um, do you know where Bella is? " He asked impatiently.

" She left with madam " Paisley answers casually.

" You mean she left with her mom? " He asked with his eyebrows slightly raised up.

" Yes sir " she nodded.

He walked to his room angrily " wow Bella has it gotten to this " he muttered under his breath.

Back at the Andrew's Mansion

Isabella and Chloe were inside the room conversing when they both received a text message at the same time they stared at each other before taking a glance.

" What did the message say ? " Isabella asked.

" Come to The Olive Balcony by 9pm from Alex " Chloe said as she read the message from her phone.

Isabella nodded " saw here, what is going? " She asked.

" Right, I thought Alex and Millie are in Maldives? " Chloe said.

" Um, let's go there and check, I guess, " she said.

" Bella, why are you even here? " Chloe suddenly asked.

" I just need a break from Jason, he's a big liar " she said nonchalantly.

" What did he do? " Chloe asked.

" Tell me Chloe do you know any girl called Jessica " Isabella asked as she heels onto Chloe's hand.

" Um Jessica Miquel? " Chloe asked.

" I don't know but Jason said she's a highschool friend " she said.

" Then it must be her, " Chloe said.

" Whatever tell me, did both of them date during highschool? " Isabella asked curiously.

" I also can't tell, they were my seniors back in highschool, but there were rumours that Jason and Jessica were in a relationship cause they were always seen together they even called them the j couple back then " Chloe said and isabella face fell.

" But do you think it's true?" Isabella asked with an unsettled expression. She could take the fact that he dated Emma as she also got into a relationship with Caleb but she couldn't control her anger and jealousy after finding out he had another ex who resurfaced from nowhere.

" I guess so too, cause back then I also believed and they both didn't deny it " Chloe said unceremoniously.

" Then I guess I did the right thing. We should give each other some space, " she said.

Later of the day, At The Olive Balcony

Isabella and Chloe arrived together and surprisingly they met both Emily and Alexander already seated.

" What the heck, what are you two doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Maldives " Isabella said shockingly as she sat down.

Chloe nodded " yeah you guys were in Maldives just three days back " she chimed in.

" We will answer all your questions when everyone gets here, " Alexander said.

Just then Chris and Jason walked over " were you two also together? " Alexander asked

" Yeah we were getting ourselves high when you called " he said as he took a seat.

Isabella and Jason locked eyes for a while before she averted her gaze back to the table.

" So why did you call us over? " Jason asked.

Emily cleared her throat " well guys Alex and I are going to become parents soon " she said with a smile.

Isabella choked on her drink " cuhcuhcuh! " She began to cough violently.

" Chill, is there a need for that? " Chris said to Isabella.

" Of course she was shocked, I'm also in shock " Chloe said to Chris.

After composing herself, she forced a smile on her face "wow! congratulations Millie and Alex you two will make a good parent " Isabella said.

Jason's expression wasn't any better " congratulations to you two, we need to celebrate " he said with a smile.

" Congratulations " Chris and Chloe said in unison and they both glanced at one another.

" Cheers to our upcoming parents " Isabella toast and they all clinched glasses.

Emily was about to drink up but Alexander held her hands " are you trying to kill my child? You can't have this " he said as he snatched it from her.

" It's still an embryo, " Chloe said as she rolled her eyes at him.

" Chloe I never knew when you became a professor in biology and besides how dare you call my child an embryo " he glared at her.

Chloe laughed " alright I will just let you be " she hastily said.

" Let's go have a ladies talk, " Isabella said as she pulled Emily up.

" Millie becareful " Alexander said.

" Oh please she's not a fragile egg okay " Isabella said as she took Emily with her while Chloe had no choice but to come along.

They watched them as they walked out of sight leaving the guys.

" Dude, are you in a fight with Bella ? " Chris asked.

" Wait, why do you think I spent time with you today? " Jason fired back at him.

" She thinks I was in a relationship with Jessica, " Jason said.

" You mean Jessica Miquel? I thought she moved to Canada for good, " Alexander said.

" Yeah I was also surprised to see her yesterday when I and Bella were out " Jason said.

" Why didn't you tell her the truth? " Chris asked this time around.

" She refuses to listen to me and before I could get home today she had already moved to her place. Our moms said they weren't going to interfere this time, " Jason said.

" Well this is an opportunity, go to her and if she refuses to listen, lock her up in the car " Alexander said.

" You are right, " Jason nodded thoughtfully as he brought out his phone and called her.

At the down floor of the building

" Millie, how does it feel to be pregnant? " Isabella asked as she touched her tummy.

" Well…. It feels totally normal, " she replied.

" Um, does it hurt when you lose your virginity? " Isabella asked as she itched her scalp.

" You should know how that feels, " Chloe said this time.

Isabella scoffed loudly " no I don't, I still have my innocence " she answered sheepishly.

Emily and Chloe stared at each other and they both burst into laughter.

" What are you laughing at? I'm telling the truth " Isabella blushed.

" Bella, would you stop lying to us, your cheeks are all red, " Emily said.

Just then, her cell phone began to ring repeatedly, she glanced at the caller ID and hissed.

They kept conversing, and Isabella spotted Jessica who was about to get into the elevator. The elevator light shined on her face and Isabella was certain it was the girl she met the other day.

" What if she's going to the top floor? " she thought and her heart sank.

She also noticed her cellphone had stopped ringing.

" Um, I think we should go back up, " Isabella said with a faint smile.

" Wait Bella, let me finish my drink " Chloe said.

Immediately Chloe gulped down the remains of her drink Isabella got up and quickly walked to the elevator.

She tapped on the button furiously, " calm down Bella " Emily said.

After some few minutes it opened and they got to the top floor, her eyes searched for Jason and as she had imagined she saw Jessica sitting next to him and they were talking.

She clenched her fist angrily and marched over to the table. She took the seat next to Jason's left with her hands folded to her chest.

" Oh hi Bella " Jessica said as she extended her hand to Bella.

" How did you know my name? " Isabella cocked a brow at her.

Jessica chuckled " You are more famous than you think, " she replied casually.

" Fair enough " Isabella said as she drank the wine in her glass.

Jason took the glass from her " don't get drunk, have you forgotten you can't hold your liquor " he said.

" Thanks Daddy for reminding me " she plastered a fake smile and turned away from him.

" Chloe, guys I guess I need to leave now I'm a little tipsy " Isabella said as she got up.

Alexander glanced at Jason and he nodded as he also stood up " I will take you home " he said.

" There's no need you should stay back and enjoy your evening " she said as she chuckled softly.

" Okay at least let me walk you outside " this time around he held her hand and took her out of the place without waiting for her reply.

None of them said a thing till they got to Jason's car. She got in and put on her seatbelt. She turned her head to his direction and her lips touched Jason's.

She moved back a little " why are you staring so close at me " she said through gritted teeth

" Because you are the only thing I want to look at, " he said casually.

" It wasn't this way some minutes back " Isabella said instantly.

Jason held her hands " Bella I promise I didn't date Jessica, you can also ask her if you want even if I did you are the only one I love and there's nothing that can change it " he said gently.

" Ever since you came into my life you have shown me the true meaning of love and happiness, you are not just my fiancee but my best friend ever since childhood. Life isn't fun without you around and it never will be. Would you come back into my arms like you always do my little kitty? " he said, staring straight into her eyes.

Her eyes turned glossy and she hugged him immediately " I love you so much, I was just blinded by jealousy " she mumbled.

" It's fun to see you get Jealous " he laughed as he pinched her cheeks.

" When are you giving me a princess ?" He demanded.

She nodded vigorously " We can get one around, the stores around here should still be open by this time " she said.
