" You can say it again,if it makes you feel any better, " he said as he put on his shirt.

" What do you mean?" she snorted at him.

" You are mine already and there's nothing you can do about it " he leaned closer and whispered in her ear.

She blushed scarlet " you are so possessive " she said as she pushed him away.

“ You look like a tomato right now. You're literally so adorable I wanna squish your cheeks ” he said as he smiled.

“ Say you love me, ” she hugged him and stared at his face.

" I love you so much, " Alexander said as he kissed the tip of her nose.

“ Get dressed, I need to go get something ” Alexander said and she nodded.

On their way, Emily asked curiously " where are you heading? " She asked.

" Don't you feel hungry?" He asked.

" I do, but you could have asked me to make breakfast for you " she said with a frown.

" You cook? " He asked with a surprised look.

" Of course I do, I'm not a spoiled brat like Bella " she said as she chuckled.

" Then I guess I'm the luckiest guy, " Alexander said as he scratched her nose.

After having breakfast, they hit the road again, on their way Emily frowned slightly “ that's not the road to the house ”she said.

“ Calm down, I'm not selling you off, ” he said as he squeezed her cheeks.

They arrived at a jewellery store and Emily looked at him quizzically “ why are we here? ” she asked.

“ I want to get my mom's jewellery, ” Alexander said.

He got down from the car and turned around to the passenger seat and pulled the door open for her “ should I come along ” she asked and he nodded.

They went into the store together after getting the jewellery they went back into the car.

She put on her seatbelt only to turn around and found Alex holding a red rose flower.

“ Alex! When did you…. ” she paused, staring at him with surprise.

“ Millie, have been waiting for this very moment when I will finally make you my girl and I guess this is the right time. He brought out a little box and behold it was a dazzling diamond ring.

Emily palmed her lips ” oh my gosh! “ she muttered.

” I know this is coming really quick. Millie honey, will you marry me? “ Alexander said as he stared at her face with a pitiful look.

” How can I say no, yes, yes,yes, “ she yelled as she brought her hand forward and he gently slipped the ring on her finger and it fitted perfectly.

” It's really beautiful, I love it, “ Emily smiled as she stared at her finger.

Alexander pecked her lip ” it's not as beautiful as you are “ he said.

” Alex, give me your phone “ she said and he did as she had said.

Emily placed her head on Alexander's chest and took selfies.

” Here Alex, take a picture of my finger “ she said as she passed him the phone.

Alexander updated his status ” alright where do you wanna go to “ he asked.

” Let's go home first, before I decide, “ she said as she smiled.

They went back to globex , Emily sat on the couch and her phone buzzed.

She brought it out from her bag and saw a lot of comments.

” yay! Congratulations, my besties are together now “ Isabella commented.

” Congratulations bro, you are officially out of the singles league “ Jason commented.

” Congratulations dude “ Chris commented.

” I'm so happy for you Alex I don't know when @chris will get me a ring “ Zoey commented.

” Emily is so beautiful, so I think I will call you both beauty and the beast “ Chloe commented.

” Chloe can't you just say something nice for once if you dare say something bad again I will throw you into the ocean to feed the sharks ``Alex commented.

Alexander replied to Emily's comment ” baby, don't stress yourself Chloe has a point. I mean no guy in his right senses will tolerate a crazy lady like her, have you ever been hit by Chloe it felt like a rod fell on me “ he commented and everyone laughed.

” Alex, come to my house if you dare,I have a gift for you “ Chloe commented.

” I finally have a sister-in-law, “ Nancy commented.

” Son, when will you bring her home? “ Mrs Miles commented.

Emily blushed as she read Mrs Miles' comment, she wasn't ready to meet her yet.

She dropped her phone and went to check on what Alexander was doing in the kitchen.

” What are you doing? “ she said as she chuckled.

” I'm preparing your lunch, “ he replied as he washed the vegetables.

” Do you know how to cook? “ she asked with a doubtful look.

” Yeah, I know how to do a lot you haven't discovered, “ Alexander replied and gave her a seat.

Emily bit her lip ” you are trying to say that, you are not only good in bed “ she said as she gave a silly laugh.

” you haven't even discovered anything yet“ he said as he leaned over to her and kissed her lips.

" So since we are going out for dinner tonight, do you think I should wear this or put on something else? " she asked curiously.

” I like your clothes, but I like you better naked .... “ he whispered as he kissed her ear.

Without restraint he lifted her up and took her upstairs to the room. ” Alex, be gentle, okay “ she said as he got on top of her.

”I can't help it, you are fun to mess with “ he muttered.

Later in the evening, At a RoofTop Restaurant

Jason, Isabella, Chris,Zoey, Chloe and Nancy were seated as they ate their dinner.

” Where are the people who invited us for dinner? “ Chloe said as she played with her food.

” can't you be a little patient “ Alexander said and everyone turned around and they saw the both of them.

” Do you think I have nothing to do with my life? “ Chloe said as she spread her hands.

” things like what? watching Netflix or going on dating sites “ he asked with a mischievous smirk.

” Alex be nice “ Emily hit him on the chest.

Chloe forced a smile ” just forget it Emily, Alex is fond of spouting nonsense “ she said.

” Yeah, I agree with Chloe, “ Nancy said as she drank from her orange juice.

” and you Nancy don't you know you aren't getting any younger, when will you bring a man home “ he fired at her.

” Alex, are you taunting me now? I'm sorry Chloe I'm no longer on your side “ Nancy said pouting her lip.

” Excuse me guys, “ Chloe said as she got up.

” Alex I told you to be nice , didn't you know you have made her angry “ Emily said.

” Chill, she knows I am only teasing her, “ he said as he pecked her cheek.

BACK AT THE RESTROOM

Chloe stood in front of the mirror after washing her hands. ” Alex thinks he's better than me. I blame Chris for all that has happened so far, he claims he loves me but he couldn't even call off what is between him and zoey“ she said, crossing her arm on her chest.

The more she spoke about it, she felt even angrier. ” I guess I will just move on, having wasted three years of my life already waiting for him “she said to herself as she was about to leave the restroom.

Just then Chris pushed the door open ” Chloe are you alright “ he said as he cupped her cheeks.

She pushed him away roughly ” don't touch me this isn't right, just leave, it's not proper for a guy and a lady who have nothing to do with each other to be seen in a restroom “ she said as she headed towards the door.

Chris pulled her back and slammed her against the wall ” Chloe was up with you “ he demanded.

” was up with me? I should be the one asking this question Chris. Do you know how I felt when you brought Zoey to dinner? “ she said bitterly as she held back her tears.

” Chloe you need to understand, I was helpless, okay I didn't invite her Alex did, I'm sorry “ he apologised.

” You know what Chris, let's just end this. I'm tired of waiting for you to man up and stand up for what you want “ she said as she wiped her from her eyes.

”Chris you are hurting me, let me go “ she yelled at him as she tried to move.

Chris bit her lower lip ” shut up!“ he yelled and her mouth snapped shut immediately.

” Just listen to me, I will sort out everything very soon I promise, “ Chris assured her.

” That's the same thing you have been saying over and over again. I'm done with this triangular relationship “ she said and burst out.

Chloe left without turning back, she wiped her tears and went back to join the others at the rooftop.

” Chloe, have you seen Chris he said he wanted to make a call but he isn't back yet “ Zoey asked as her gaze travelled around the whole place.
