Chapter 72: is it a crime to fall in love?

“ The most annoying person in my life currently is Alexander Miles. Gosh he speaks too much and is too loud. I'm tired of giving those fake smiles. The guy just refuses to leave my life.

Since he loves being my driver I don't mind using him to my satisfaction hahaha! till Jason becomes mine.

He felt his veins throbbing, he kept staring at the dairy as he felt his whole body burning up with fury.

So he was the fool all along to think Emily had started developing feelings for him. Was she sick in the head? How can she be in love with Jason, her best friend's fiance.

He was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't acknowledge her existence.

” Alexander!“ she called out to him as she rushed over and dragged the dairy from him

” Why did you go through my personal stuff? “ she said with a deep frown.

Alexander raised his head showing his blood shot eyes. He glanced at her with disgust he had thought her soul was as beautiful as her  face not knowing she could be this shameless.

Emily was a bit intimidated when their eyes met for some reason she couldn't maintain eye contact with him.

” Emily how can you be so shameless really? You love Jason? “ he said as he laughed sarcastically.

Emily's cheeks turned red, she itched her scalp awkwardly and she was looking utterly embarrassed.

She could only remain silent as she lowered her gaze.

” won't you say something? Alexander yelled at her, making her flinch a little.

He became infuriated and started marching away. She suddenly called out to him, making a pause in his tracks.

” Please don't tell Isabella, “ she said in a low tone.

He didn't even bother to turn around; he stomped out of the house with rage immediately.

He got to his car and sat down and some thoughts came flashing in his mind.

He had noticed Emily's interest in Jason's affairs but he never analysed the fact that she was in love with him if not after finding out the truth.

He felt really hurt. The first girl he liked was only using him as a mere driver; she couldn't even say anything to make him feel better even though she knew he was obviously hurt. He had only wasted the past few months thinking about a future with her. He was so blind and the only thing he could see was the beauty she possessed.

He drove out of globex with a lot of thoughts in his heart he didn't even have anywhere in mind. He drove himself straight home. He was no longer in the mood for classes.

After taking his shower he sat on the bed contemplating on what to do should he tell Jason and Isabella the truth or he should leave them to find out on their own.

He went to the fridge and brought out a can of beer and he poured himself a glass and began to drink.

Back at Globex

Emily was also in no mood to go out. She sat on the carpet in her bedroom thinking about what happened.

” I didn't do anything wrong Did i? “ she asked herself as she nibbled on her bottom lip.

” Is it a crime to fall in love? No. so I will just stop thinking about it. Besides, it's a good thing  that he found out at least he can finally let me be '' she said.

Back at the hospital

Isabella was reading a novel while Jason just kept staring at her.

She couldn't take it any longer so she raised her head and glared at him.

“Why have you been staring at me? “ she asked and averted her gaze back to the novel.

” cause you are the only thing i want to look at for the rest of my life “ he said nonchalantly.

It was just a casual remark  to him but Isabella was already blushing hard to her ears she buried her face into the book.

Jason chuckled softly ” did you have to be that jealous that you chased the poor girl away before I could do it myself “ he said.

Isabella snorted ” I could stand her face and that was why I did what I did “ she said unceremoniously.

They heard the sound of the door pushed open Olivia and Liam walked in.

She quickly stood up and rushed over to them

” Bella, thank goodness you are alright, “ Olivia said, pulling her to a warm hug.

Isabella smiled and hugged her back ” of course I'm fine “ she said.

She broke the hug and turned to Liam ”hi “ she waved at him and all of a sudden Liam pulled her to a hug.

Isabella was dumbfounded. This was the first time they hugged each other and it seemed kind of weird with Jason around.

She was immersed in her thoughts and forgot to break the hug neither did Liam.

Jason's blood was already boiling. He cleared his throat bringing her out of her thoughts.

She smiled and hastily broke the hug before Jason did anything stupid.

Olivia sat on the couch and pulled Liam too to sit.

The two guys could only watch the way they were going on and on laughing.

” So Bella, when will you go back to school you have missed a lot. Olivia asked.

Isabella smiled faintly as she turned to jason. ” How possible have I missed a lot? I was only absent for a few days. I think till Jason gets better “ she said while smoothing down her skirt.

” better? He looks so healthy already. Besides he doesn't expect you to neglect your studies and become his caretaker “ Liam said while playing with his phone.

Isabella hit him on the chest playfully ” Liam don't be rude okay? It's my choice and it's final. I don't mind doing anything for him, “ she said.

Liam clenched his fist in his pocket.

She cared so much about him. He also wanted her care and attention.

Jason was quite satisfied with her answer. He didn't like Liam at all; he could see his competitive attitude towards him and he was already sure that Liam loves his woman.

He didn't know why her voice sounded too sweet whenever she called Liam. He was already disappointed a while ago and he wanted to teach her a lesson but luckily she saved herself.

Jason suddenly winced in pain. Isabella quickly stood up and went over to him

” Does it hurt? Should I call the nurse “ she asked with a worried look.

Jason stared at her and suddenly pulled her down and stole a kiss from her leaving her totally confused.

” I will be fine, you need to go back to school. I don't want you to be left behind my sweet little bookworm, “ he said, making her laugh.

” I'm your sweet little bookworm huh? I will make you starve for the whole week “ she said while pulling his nose.

Olivia turned to Liam ” I think we should get going “ she said and smiled.

Liam nodded reluctantly and his gaze didn't leave Isabella who was speaking to Jason with a beautiful smile on her face.

Liam stood up and suddenly walked over to her.

” Bella, I hope to see you in school soon. We will take our leave now “ he said and pulled her to a hug for the second time.

Isabella furrowed her brows and she was taken aback.

When did we become this intimate? ” she thought and pulled away from the hug.

“ er… alright bye thanks for coming to check on me ” Isabella said.

After they left Jason pulled her to the bed., He pinned her down and stared at her puzzled look.

I have to punish you “ he whispered in her ear.

She gulped down her saliva nervously ” what did…did I do wrong “ she found herself stuttering.

Jason placed his head in the crook of her neck taking in her scent.

His warm breath against her neck only made her more nervous and hot.

She felt his warm lips kissing and sucking on her collarbone.

” Jason, stop , someone might come in to see us like this ” she said with a gentle tone.

“ And what's wrong? I can't flirt with my wife anymore? He said, making her roll her eyes.

” In the eyes of the law am not your wife dummy” she said pinching his neck.

“ in the eyes of Jason you are my wifey ” he said in his magnetic voice making her feel sweet.

He placed her legs around his waist and lifted her a little into a comfortable position. He leaned over and their faces were only an inch apart, their  breaths encircled and they could feel each other's breaths on their faces.

He stared straight into her eyes, he was about to seal her lips with a kiss but she quickly looked away and his kiss landed on her ear.

Isabella giggled, he smirked and suddenly nibbled on her earlobe leaving her astounded.

Jason, I'm sorry, would you let me go? This is a hospital. I don't want anyone to see this, “ she said in a soft voice.

Jason didn't listen to her, instead he used the opportunity to kiss her lips gently.

Isabella reluctantly gave in to his kisses and soon he began to kiss her fiercely.

Mrs Harrison barged into the VIP ward to witness this sight.

” son! “ she yelled at him.

Isabella wanted to kill herself at this moment she wished she could disappear into thin air.

How can she face Mrs Harrison after all this she was so embarrassed and she pushed Jason away from herself.

She quickly repaired her shirt that was slightly opened by that idiot.

And you bella? You two couldn't wait to get home” Mrs Harrison said with a smile.

Isabella's cheeks turned rosy,She stood up with her head lowered.

“ I will be right back, I want to make a call, “ she said and rushed outside.
