Chapter 68:  Avenge Isabella

Isabella  ran over to Jason and noticed that he was about to pass out. ” no please you have to stay with me “ she said as she placed her cheeks on top of his and her tears kept falling on his face.

Chloe, Chris and Alexander rushed in to behold this emotional bloody scene. They had come in immediately when they saw the cops taking Emma and her subordinate to the car.

” jesus Christ!“ Alexander said as they all rushed over to them.

Chloe clenched her fist tightly and she suddenly ran outside.

Chris and Alexander glanced at each other in unison with a confused look.

” You stay here, I will go check on her, “ Chris said and rushed out.

Back Outside

Emma was about to get into the car when an arm violently dragged her back and turned her around.

Before Emma could process what was going on she received a heavy slap on the face ” pah! How dare you! I have had enough of you Emma '' Chloe yelled.

Emma could only glare at her angrily; her hands were already handcuffed, leaving her completely defenceless.

The look on her face only made Chloe more infuriated.  She raised her hand and began to slap Emma till she spat out blood.

She didn't even mind the fact that her palm had turned red and numb; she just had to avenge Isabella.

Emma spat out another mouth full of blood. She suddenly burst into laughter like a Maniac ” this is not the end I will be back for y'all mark my words and Isabella I will kill that bitch with my very own hand “ she said moving her face close to Chloe while emphasising on each word viciously.

The next thing she received on her face was a heavy  punch from Chloe making her stagger backwards, luckily she held onto the railing before her back could touch the ground.

” bitch! “ Chloe spat out and was about to pounce on her.

Emma quickly moved backwards vigilantly. She glared at the cops with daggers.

” Just take me out of here, “ she said through gritted teeth.

Chris, who had been watching the show, quickly pulled Chloe before she could get to Emma.

” Chloe let the police handle it, it's not your job “ he said to her.

” it's none of your fucking ass bussiness “ she hissed and went back into the warehouse.

She felt like her mind was finally at peace after trashing Emma up.

” Please take the piece of trash away “ Chris said to the police while glaring at Emma with a disgusted look on his face.

He was about to go in, when the ambulance finally arrived he guided them into the warehouse. Jason was placed on the stretcher and he was  taken into the ambulance. Isabella refused to let go of his hand throughout this whole process; she just hoped he would be fine.

Alexander touched the bridge of his nose frustratedly  ” look Isabella calm down. Just let go of his hand for some time “ he said and he felt his throat had turned dry he had exhausted his saliva trying to convince her.

” Will he be fine? “ she asked with a hoarse voice as she sniffed.

Chloe nodded ” of course “ she said and pulled Isabella to a cheerful hug.

She herself didn't know she was just trying to ease Isabella's stress; she also hopes that everything will be okay.

Spring Grove Hospital

Jason was pushed into the hospital with a stretcher and was taken to the  operation room immediately. They had been there for an hour and they were still waiting for the doctor's feedback. The red light outside the operating room was still on indicating that the surgery isn't over.

” Isabella I think you should go home to take a shower and also get some rest just look at yourself“ Chloe suggested.

” I don't want to go anywhere, “ she said with her head lowered.

” Bella, Chloe is right, we are all  here for Jason “ Chris said.

” I'm not leaving until the doctor tells me what's going on with him, “ she said sternly.

While they were busy talking, the doctor came out with an aggressive look on his face.

” didn't I warn him not to go anywhere? Now look coupled with what was wrong before he got shot on the arm twice “

Alexander pursed his lips `` can you just tell us how his condition is now? '' he asked.

” His body is not responding to the treatment, this may be due to the bullet going deep into his arm. We were able to remove one,but the second bullet is giving us a tough time. If we cut deep there might be a possibility that his arm will end up being amputated“ the doctor said.

The more the doctor spoke the more Isabella felt like something was ripping her heart apart.

Chloe had said to her that after Jason left. They went to seek help from Malcolm and he was the one who gave them the location.They had gone to the police station afterwards for backup but they were told that they were already informed by Jason.

At that moment she realised that he was only buying time for the corps to get there by receiving those bullets and so as to make sure she wasn't harmed in any kind of way.

” I have invited a friend who is more specialised in this field. Excuse me “ the doctor said and walked away.

Isabella palmed her face and started crying. She just couldn't imagine how much pain he's going through right now coupled with the fact that he was undergoing treatment before it all started.

After the doctor left Chris nodded at Chloe.

Chloe turned to Isabella with a bottle of water ”here have some water “ she said.

” I don't want any, “ she said with a hoarse voice while pushing Chloe's hand away.

” Please just have a little, you'll feel better, “ she said, putting the bottle close to her lip.

After persuading her for a while she finally gave in and gulped down the water.

Soon enough she started to yawn and her eyes became teary and she could barely open her eyes.

” Why am I suddenly feeling sleepy? “ she mumbled.

” er…. Come get some rest “ Chloe said and helped her up.

Before they could head out Isabella almost collapsed, luckily Alexander quickly supported her.

” This drug is really effective, “ Chloe whispered to Alexander.

He nodded ” yeah this is the only way we could get her to rest. “ Alexander said.

” But wait a sec, what are you doing with this kind of drug? she asked with her eyes narrowed.

Alexander sigh loudly ” sometimes I can't seem to sleep anytime I think about that one person so I result to this drugs “ he said

Chloe glanced at him with a weird look ” now I get why you behave like a maniac sometimes. Drug addict “ she said as they helped Isabella get into the car.

Alexander smiled ” you think I am a Maniac then you must be a psychopath “ he said.

” Oh please give me a break, I won't be surprised if you end up next to Emma in an asylum“ she said with a smirk and closed the car door.

Alexander could only watch as the car zoomed away from his view. ” crazy! “ he mumbled.

*11PM GLOBEX

Isabella suddenly opened her eyes and glanced around and noticed she was home already. She sat up quickly to check the time.

” How did I get here? "She asked no one in particular.

” geez! It's 11 already. How long have I been sleeping “ she ran into the bathroom to take a shower and she came out shortly in a blue dress.

On her way downstairs she came across Chloe who seemed to be heading to her room.

” Where are you going? “ Chloe asked with a puzzled look.

Isabella smiled ” too see Jason of course he must be asking for me right now “ she said and took another step.

Chloe quickly stopped her ” Bella is already so late. We will go see him tomorrow. But for now you need to rest “ she said.

” Chloe please, I really want to see him. Don't try to stop me cause I won't listen to anyone. Jason must be calling for me right now “ she said.

Chloe lowered her gaze back to the ground. Jason was still unconscious and fighting for his life.

” Should I tell her? “Chloe thought inwardly with a complicated look on her face.

” Look Bella, Jason is asleep. If you go over there you will disturb him, “ she said.

” Chloe will Jason be fine and am tired of lying to myself “ she said and slowly sat down on the floor.

Chloe also squatted down ” of course he's going to be fine. Look Bella you haven't eaten anything all day if Jason finds out he's going to get angry with you. '' she said, trying to convince her.

” Come let's go back to your room “ Chloe said.

Arriving at her room, Lucy  knocked and came in with Isabella's dinner.

After forcing the food into her mouth she laid down to rest. She never knew she could love someone to this length. She felt like life was meaningless without jason.

He was truly her only source of joy and happiness and he really did mean alot to her and she was ready to sacrifice anything for him.

” I love you so much Jason “ she mumbled as she shut her eyes.
