Chapter 61: Miss won't you go and see him?

Jason could only watch her back till she disappeared from his view, he pursed his lips and walked towards his car. He wasn't going to give up on her, he will fight for her love and he was certain that his going to win her back.

“ Bella what's going on? ” Liam asked.

Isabella suddenly stopped in her tracks and turned around and looked at Liam and Olivia.

“ Am  just angry with him ” she said.

“ really? You were that angry and you suddenly felt that there was a need for you to slap him that hard in public? ” Olivia asked.

Isabella bit her lip hard, “ you wouldn't understand even if I explain it to you, just forget it ” she said.

“ How can I forget about it? No matter what the problem might be, aren't you sure that you overreacted by slapping him on the face. No one even dares to go close to him,he's like some kind of god to these ladies and you just made a fool out of him and you don't seem bothered by your actions at all ” Olivia said.

She didn't know why she overreacted, she was feeling quite guilty after slapping him. The moment she saw his face it reminded her of those pictures and she just couldn't hold herself back. It was one of her means of venting out her frustration on him.

Olivia was about to continue her lecture when her phone abruptly started ringing. She picked up and her expression changed soon enough the call ended.

“ Guys I have to go, I just got a call from my junior brother's school. He was involved in a fight as usual and my parents are out of town so I gotta go. Bella, I will call you later ” she said and walked away.

Liam turned to Bella who looked gloomy. “ Are you going home? ” he asked.

Isabella shook her head “ it's so boring over there. I will just stick around for a while before going home ” she said while bringing out her phone from her bag.

Liam smiled at her “ I will accompany you ” he said.

“ sure. I hope you know my favourite place in this whole school ” she asked as they walked side by side.

“ the library? ” Liam asked.

Isabella nodded and a smile suddenly appeared on her face  “ I hope you don't mind”. She asked.

Liam glanced at her smiling face. It was so charming and addictive he couldn't help but smile along with her “ sure. I will go anywhere you want to go” he added.

Soon they arrive at the library with only a few students present. She took a seat close to the window. She brought out her headphones and shut her eyes while listening to music.

Liam didn't know whether to laugh or cry. What was the usefulness of his presence if she was only going to listen to music? She looked peaceful with her eyes closed and he decided not to disturb her. He also brought out his phone and started playing games to kill time. As long as the both of them could stay close to each other he didn't mind what they were doing.

There were no signs that it was about to rain but suddenly it started heavily.

Liam tapped her shoulders lightly. She opened her eyes and she also noticed it was raining heavily. A big smile appeared on her face before it slowly faded.

Liam dropped his phone on the desk. He made her face him. “ Look Bella, if you ever consider me your friend, then Please tell me what is wrong? ” he asked.

Isabella pressed her lip and batted her lashes  “ there's really nothing wrong. It's just  Jason who hurted my feelings ” she said bowing her head sadly and  tears immediately escaped her eyes sliding down her cheeks freely.

Liam felt his heart break, she doesn't look good when she's sad he believed she was a rare gem that was supposed to be loved with dedication.

He used his thumbs to wipe her tears away “ Bella you don't look pretty while crying ” Liam said.

Isabella threw herself to him, she hugged him tightly placing her head on his chest. “ I know I don't look good right now, silly ” she said and laughed a little bit while sniffing.

Liam also smiled at her. “ don't behave that way again, okay? When you are sad it also affects me too ” he said and patted her head.

Isabella nodded and broke the hug. “I feel like playing inside in the rain but I got a fever last night ” she said.

Liam was astonished “ and you came to school all because of a silly test “ he said.

Isabella touched her nose oddly ” hey! It's not a stupid test. I'm addicted to good grades and I'm allergic to B “ she said, rolling her eyes at him.

She rubbed her tummy ” I'm suddenly hungry. I haven't eaten anything today. I was so angry that I forgot about food, “ she said, pouting her lip.

” It's raining heavily. I guess we have to wait for the rain to subside. Here you can have this chocolate “ Liam brought it out from his pocket.

Isabella clapped her hands like a child ” Liam you are my hero today. “ she said and took a bite from the chocolate she chewed with her eyes close savouring the taste.

Liam smiled sheepishly as he stared at her. ” Bella, do you know how fun it is to be with you? I would love my life partner to be just like you “ he said.

Isabella nodded ” that's a good thing it's just that I am a  rare piece  and they can only be me “ she said as she took a big bite from the chocolate bar.

Liam nodded ” you are right. Jason is one lucky guy. He should make sure he cherishes you before he loses the opportunity, “he said.

Isabella snorted ” oh please don't ruin my mood. I get angry at the mention of his name, “ she said and continued devouring the chocolate.

” Hey it stopped raining “ Isabella said and rose to her feet.

Liam also did the same ” do you want to grab lunch before going home or……. “

” No thanks, I will go home and have lunch with Chloe, “ she said.

” Okay then I will drop you off, “ he suggested.

Isabella chuckled softly ” there's no need for that my chauffeur will be here in a few minutes he's already close by “ she said.

” Alright then I guess I will see you tomorrow “ Liam said and they both parted ways.

Even if her chauffeur wasn't coming she still wouldn't get into Liam's car. Jason has forbidden her from getting into other guys' cars even if they are fighting now she just couldn't avoid thinking about him and the things he said to her.

Arriving at home, she ate dinner with Chloe and her aunty before going upstairs to her room.

She laid on her bed and decided to rest and it started raining much heavier than previously. She sighs loudly ” thank goodness i'm already home “ she wondered what would have happened if she was still in school.

She turned on her laptop and put on her favourite series. She sat on her bed while watching and eating some popcorn.

She heard a knock on her door briskly. She furrowed her brows ” come in “she said.

Lucy came in and glanced at her and she suddenly felt sorry for Jason. ” Miss, young master Jason is outside in the rain, I told him to come in but he refused. He said he won't until you come see him “ she said gloomily.

Isabella munched on her popcorn ”so? “ she asked with one of her brows arched.

Lucy almost fainted when did  little madam became so vicious she thought. ” Miss, it's raining pretty heavily. I think you should persuade him to come in; he might fall seriously ill “ she said.

Isabella didn't seem affected at all, she was still maintaining a poker expression ” how long have he been there “ she asked listlessly.

” About an hour ago," Lucy answered.

” Oh wow, “ Isabella said lazily.

She resumed watching her movie like no one was there.

Lucy froze ” isn't she supposed to hurry outside or will she let the handsome chap get drained by the rain “ she thought inwardly.

Isabella noticed that Lucy was still standing next to her bed ” have heard you please lock the door behind you on your way out “ she said and her gaze returned to the movie while fumbling for her popcorn with her other hand.

Lucy couldn't help but say ”Miss won't you go and see him “ she said.

Isabella chuckled sarcastically ” I am not the one who asked him to get under the rain. Besides I think it's a nice thing for him, he can remain there so the rain could  wash away all of his sins and he could become cleansed and pure again“ she said unceremoniously.

Lucy shook her head and left the room with no other choice. Her young madam must have been really hurt for her to become so cruel towards him.

After Lucy left, Isabella's gaze turned soft as water, her eyes were already blurry with tears. She got up and peeked through the window. Indeed he was standing under the rain, his clothes were all soaked and his hair was all damp and scattered all over his face making him look like a homeless puppy.

Her tears slide down her cheeks ” such a dumbass! “ she muttered.

” How could you do something this stupid ”fuck you! “ she cursed with a choked voice.
