Chapter 48: I blame you for all that has happened so far

Mrs Jackson took Emma to her room “ child please say something to mummy. Look, I and your dad forgive you, we don't blame you for everything. You are just a young lady in love and you have the right to be '' said Mrs Jackson.

But Emma still remained silent. Mrs Jackson tried all sorts of tricks but none worked on Emma. She decided to let her be alone. Maybe she will bounce back to normal on her own.

After a few minutes they heard the shrill screams and violent sounds. It was obvious that Emma was trashing her room.

Mr and Mrs Jackson panicked; they didn't dare go upstairs; they could only hope and pray for the doctor's Arrival.

» Back at Emma's room «

Emma was screaming at the top of her lungs she had never experienced this kind of humiliation in her entire life all because of Isabella. “ I hate you Isabella. I will kill you sooner or later ”she yelled as she kept trashing her room.

“ How dare you! You snatch Jason away from me, you bitch you seduced my man with that filthy body of yours. Isabella you must die I won't gonna rest until I completely destroy your happiness ” Emma kept yelling.

At the point of her yelling she suddenly saw her reflection in the mirror, she immediately quietened down as she came closer to the mirror she touched her face as she could feel some scars. Her hand trembled as tears slipped down her boney cheeks.

“ No!“ Emma yelled and suddenly slammed her fist on the mirror shattering it completely. Due to the impact of her strength she felt weak and passed out immediately on the ground and her wounded hand started bleeding profusely.

When Mrs and Mrs Jackson noticed that the room had quietened down they slowly came upstairs. Mrs Jackson couldn't help but make a cross sign before opening the door. They saw blood  slipping down her hand.

” Ahhhhh! “ Mrs Jackson screamed she almost collapsed instantly but luckily for her Mr Jackson was standing next to her so he quickly held her.

Mrs Jackson rushed forward and placed Emma's head on her thigh ” she patted Emma's cheeks but she didn't bulge at all.

Luckily for them, the doctor finally arrived. The doctor was their family's

He had been the one rendering treatment  to any of the Jackson's that fell ill.

After waiting for some while the doctor came out of the room with two nurses, when the doctor arrived a while ago to see Emma he suddenly called the nurses for backup.

Mr and Mrs Jackson didn't dare to take Emma to the hospital onces the information is leaked and everyone finds out what she did their family's reputation will be ruined forever.

“ She's stable for now but I think you guys need to take her to go see a psychiatrist doctor I can set an appointment with one if you don't mind “ the doctor suggested

” Mr Thomas, how could you say that about my child? Emma isn't crazy why does she need to see a psychiatrist “ Mrs Jackson yelled at the doctor.

” Mrs Jackson  please calm down and think it through for the safety of your daughter and your family name. I can't guarantee that something like this won't happen again. It's best you go see a psychiatrist so Emma can be diagnosed and proceed with her treatment, “ the doctor said before adjusting his glasses.

He gestured for the nurses ” we will take our leave now “ he said and he walked away with the two nurses following closely behind him.

Mr Jackson stared at the path that the doctor took with deep thoughts.

Mrs Jackson snorted ” honey don't listen to him. Emma is fine, she's not craz…..“ her words were cut short by Mr Jackson's deadly glare.

” You better shut up your mouth. You couldn't do a proper job to train her as a mother. I blame you for all that has happened so far. He roared angrily.

Mrs Jackson had never seen her husband get angry for a long time and her mouth snapped shut immediately.

Emma opened her eyes weakly and held her head. Her sight was a little blurry before it gradually became stable.

She glanced at her bandage hand.  “ Jason Please come back to me. Am begging you I can't live without you. I lost my virginity just to make you stay with me ” Emma sobbed loudly.

Mrs Jackson came in with a bowl of soup “ child please stop crying over Jason he doesn't care about you. You will find a good man to get married to ” said Mrs Jackson

Mrs Jackson didn't know that her word had made Emma angrier. Emma was already burning with rage and she poured the hot bowl of chicken soup on her mother's thighs “Ahhh!” Mrs Jackson yelled as she jolted up from the scorching burn from the soup.

She ran into Emma's bathroom at full speed and poured all the water she could find on her leg. She raised her skirt as she had thought her thighs had been scalded by Emma. At this moment she realised that the doctor was making a point if something is not done yet Emma might kill someone.

The thought of it made her shudder in fear . She summoned the maids to go clear Emma's room up. They kept pushing each other as they all debated whether they were busy with one work or the other. Emma was like a lion presently who dares to go to a lion's den.

Mrs Jackson was furious “ I'm your boss and I demand y'all to leave the work I gave you. Go upstairs and clean the room in this instance ” Mrs Jackson yelled at them.

They reluctantly went upstairs. They stood at the door as they kept pushing each other to go in first. They had to play the game rock, paper scissors to decide who would go into the lion's den first.

Back at school

Isabella was receiving lectures, the professor suddenly said “ so for your first test, I will be pairing you all in groups for this project. I will be calling your names now please if you listen to your name go meet your partner immediately to discuss the topic. This assignment should be submitted in three days time ”

“ Max and Piper, you guys are partners. Here's your topic," he said , handing a paper to them. He kept calling names Isabella was hoping that she would be paired with Olivia.

Suddenly she heard her name “ Isabella and Liam ” you two are partners for this project. Here is your topic “ the lecture handed it to Isabella.

Isabella sigh at least she wasn't pair with Zoey or Ava she would have definitely failed the test before she even makes an attempt.

Liam walked over to her with his hands in his pocket. ” Yo Bella Destiny keeps bringing us closer, “ he said with a charming smile.

Isabella smiled faintly ” yeah “ she said while tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear.

After lectures she decided to go to the library with Liam to discuss their project topic.

She brought out her textbook. But her phone suddenly buzzed so she picked it up and read it.

Are you free for lunch?

She blushed a little before replying.

No…. Am swamped up, Isabella replied before placing her phone on the table.

» Back at Jason's class «

” What did she say? ” Alexander asked while poking his head in Jason's phone

“ She said she's busy with some work, ” Jason said with a gloomy expression.

“ What's wrong with me? When did I start craving for her even more? ” Jason said inwardly.

“ Ask her where she is ” Alexander suggested.

Jason sent Isabella a message, his gaze remained fixated on his phone. Five minutes passed but still no reply from her.

“ dude she ain't saying anything ” Jason said with a worried look.

“ calm down bro just chill ” Alexander said.

Another 10 minutes passed but yet the same results. Alexander knitted his brows into a frown “ that's strange she must really be busy then ” he said.

Back at the library

Isabella was bringing up her own suggestions for the project but Liam isn't paying any attention or saying a word.

His gaze remained fixated on her but his mind had drifted off “ why does she look so gorgeous? How can someone's eyes look so beautiful? He thought inwardly while staring at her blue eyes like it was some kind of priceless jewel.

Isabella knocked his head, snapping him out of his thoughts. ” are you even paying any attention? She said, giving him a fierce glare.

Liam looked around and realised that they were still in the library. “ Just forget it, ” Isabella said and picked up her bag.

Liam was stunned he reacted faster and he stood up “ Isabella am so sorry ” Liam apologize.

Isabella turned around “ it's alright, let's talk some other time ” she said.

Liam nodded “ we don't have classes tomorrow, how about we meet at my place ” Liam suggested

“ er………. Isabella didn't know what to say.

” Come on, have you forgotten that you promised to visit my dad? “ Liam reminded her.

”alright fine “ Isabella finally agreed.

” Great, I will come pick you up, “ he said and walked away.
