Chapter 29 : The Arrival of Zoey Harrison

Isabella dug in with her fork. She chewed for a while Jason stared at her waiting for her compliments. She nodded her head “ Not that bad “ Isabella said.

” Are you joking Isabella. My cooking not that bad? You are the first person I am cooking for shouldn't you be happy “ Jason said.

” Oh now I get it, I am supposed to lie to make you happy right? Wow, so impressive.“ she said, smiling sweetly.

” I will just act like I didn't hear anything, “ Jason said, focusing on his food.

Isabella wanted to laugh badly so she had to suppress the urge. He looked like a little boy whose favourite toy was destroyed.

She was only kidding; she was quite surprised with his culinary skills. She herself didn't know how to cook and she had never thought of learning. She decided to punish him for staring at her bosom earlier. ” That serves you right, “ she said and snorted inwardly.

After breakfast he drove her to Andrew's. On their way he refused to glance or talk to her. Isabella wanted to die of laughter; she couldn't hold it back anymore as she finally let it out.

Jason pretended like he was the only one in the car. Isabella couldn't be bothered by him in fact she was enjoying it alot. She brought out a mirror and a lip gloss from her bag. She looked at herself in the mirror while applying her lip gloss. Jason glanced at her through the corners of his eye. Isabella acted like she didn't see him. Her lips curled up into a smile.

She smacked her lips a few times. Jason couldn't stop himself but looked at her.

Her pink lips were all glossy and shiny. It was so attractive that he suddenly stepped on the brakes. Isabella was puzzled ” what happened? Did you forget something at home? “

Jason nodded ” I forgot to do something “ he replied looking serious.

Isabella furrowed her brows ” then I think we should go ba……. “

Before she could finish her statement he sealed her lips with a kiss. Isabella was dumbfounded.” How did it result to this ? ” she thought.

While trying to process her thoughts her brain went blank she was so engrossed in the kiss. To be honest she would be lying if she said she didn't miss the taste of his lips, she reciprocated the kiss.

The kiss lasted for 3 minutes, they felt like they couldn't breathe Jason slowly let go of her lips. She didn't want the kiss to end; she wanted even more.

But still she acted all tough after all he was the one giving her the cold shoulder. “ Who gave you the permission to kiss me? ” she said as she crossed her arm over her chest.

“ Don't feel too highly of yourself is not like I felt like kissing you. My lips were a little dry that's all ” he said.

Isabella was shocked by how thick-skin he could be. She snorted indifferently “ you could have asked me for it. Am not that stingy ” she said.

Jason was a little happy “ oh really. Are you saying I can kiss you anytime I want ? ” he asked.

“ Oh please. Of course not,what are you thinking about? I meant my lipgloss not my lips “ she said.

Jason decided not to argue with her ” so why did you ask me to take you to the Andrew's. Why not straight to the Airport “ he asked.

” cause I want to see my Aunt Linda and Uncle John “ she said.

” Wait, Chloe's parents are back? “ Jason asked.

” Uh huh , they came back last night. I can't wait to see them “ she said with a smile showing her cute dimples.

Soon enough they arrived

Immediately they got in she saw everyone having their breakfast at the dining table.

” Oh Bella. Come here my dear “ Aunty Linda said.

Isabella gave her aunty a hug and a peck on the cheek ” I missed you so much Aunty “ she said.

Uncle John smiled at Bella ” come join us “ he said.

” No uncle, I ate the best pasta in the world this morning, “ Isabella said, winking at Jason.

Jason was stunned by her sudden action. ” Such a wretch. I trust my cooking skills. She thinks I need her silly compliments “ he said to himself, not realising that he was smiling.

” Good morning everyone, “ he said, waving at them.

Mrs Andrew smiled at Jason ” hope she didn't stress you too much “ she said.

” not at all. She has been quite obedient “ Jason said.

Isabella rolled her eyes at him. Wait it was now that she looked at him clearly there was lip gloss all over his lips. Her cheeks burned she turned to look at everyone hoping they didn't notice a thing.

Unfortunately she was wrong and she could see everyone holding their laughter. She secretly signalled him with her hands. Jason wiped his lips at that time he also finally realised why everyone was holding their laughter.

Isabella felt like digging a hole and crawling inside. She couldn't take it any longer ” just let it out guys “ she said.

Finally everyone burst into laughter, they all laughed to their heart's content.

After breakfast, they went to the Airport to see her mom off.

At the airport Isabella was already feeling down ” mom you better take good care of yourself and don't forget your promise “ Isabella said.

” Alright baby, I will take good care of myself. You should head to school now “ Mrs Andrew smiled.

” Mom, I will miss you so much, alright , you have to make it here before Christmas Eve, “ Isabella said.

” Yes yes baby I will. Bye “ Mrs Andrew said.

She walked forward with her luggage. Isabella stared at her back until Mrs Andrew disappeared from her sight.

She bowed her head feeling sad and lonely; her mom was her only immediate family member.

Chloe wrapped her arm around Isabella's shoulder ” it's alright she will be back “ she said.

Jason nodded ” stop acting like a little kid “ he said.

The trio were about to leave when Jason suddenly spotted someone ” damn“ he said as he shook his head vigorously.

Isabella and Chloe followed his gaze. They spotted a young lady in a red straight knee length gown. Showing off her perfect figure and thin waist she was wearing a silver heels to go with it. She had a great facial features she had a black wavy hair that laid below her shoulder, she has a porcelain like skin looking smooth and flawless she had big grape like eyes she was the real definition of a doll. She was a sight to behold at the airport, all the guys at the airport couldn't help but turn to stare at her. One was even lost in her world he forgot to watch his way and accidentally bumped his head on a pillar and landed on the ground. She scoffed loudly, she took each step elegantly and gracefully she had this powerful Aura around her, she swayed her hips as her hair fluttered with her movement. She stood before Jason with a charming smile.

” I'm back who missed me “ she said as she placed her hand on her hips.

Jason shook his head ” you are so unbelievable “ he said.

Isabella was a little jealous ” is she one of his ex? “ she asked herself.

” Come on brother don't you miss your Little sis ” Zoey said.

“ Wait what! ” Isabella thought inside. This wasn't the Zoey she knew. The Zoey she knew wasn't this pretty. Isabella took a close look at her; it was indeed her natural look. If she wasn't certain she would have thought that Zoey had got a cosmetic surgery done.

Zoey scanned Isabella from head to toe “ Isabella '' she said indifferently. She was also quite surprised by Isabella's facial looks.

Isabella gave a fake smile. She and Zoey never got along when they were kids. They were like rivals; they couldn't spend a minute without fighting. Isabella never had a good impression of Zoey,especially when she found out from Chloe that Emma and Zoey were best friends after all birds of the same feather flock together.

At that moment a handsome guy walked up to them while complaining “ hey Zoey what did you put in your luggage it's so heavy ” he complained.

“ Hey dude. What a surprise “ Jason said while giving Chris a hug.

Isabella smiled brightly ” Chris! “ She also came forward and gave him a tight hug.

But siblings were speechless. Zoey was a little jealous she inched forward and gave Isabella a pinch on her back. Isabella breaked free from the hug.

She glanced at Zoey with her lips pursed ” the bitch just got back but she had started getting on my nerves “ Isabella thought.

Zoey looked at Isabella with a smirk on her lip. Isabella rolled her eyes. ” bitch “ Isabella said without making a sound.

Chloe suddenly felt awkward she looked at chris. It would look strange if she didn't give Chris a hug.” Hey Chris ” Chloe hugged him.

He whispered softly in her ear “ hope you are good ” Chloe nodded her head.
