Chapter 12: your words cut deeper than a knife.

Isabella had taken all of them down, they were all groaning in pain,she was still torturing Charlotte, she twisted Charlotte arm.

Charlotte couldn't take it any longer, she could feel her bones shattering  she screamed shamelessly “ help! ,It's hurt you bitch let me go, ouch! Jason help ”  she begged.

Jason,Chloe and Alaxender where astonished by the sight of how Isabella was behaving, even Chloe her cousin was amazed cause she hasn't witness this side of Isabella. she was acting all crazy.

They all froze, Alaxender processed everything much faster than the others he rushed forward to pull Isabella away cause he noticed that she wasn't planning to stop anytime soon.

Isabella threw Charlotte on the ground  with a “ thud. ”

Charlotte forehead produced small drops of cold sweat, her face wrinkled into a grimace. Her eyes turned slightly red, her face was as pale as a blank sheet. Dirt was stuck on her face from rolling around the dirt she looked even more pathetic than her friends.

Charlotte was sobbing she couldn't even lift her hands up, she must have broken a bone. Charlotte was a frail person, she came from a wealthy family and she has been pampered since she was a little girl. She wondered how Isabella became so strong all of a sudden.

Chloe came back to her senses she rushed to Isabella and hugged her “ my Bella what happened in here?, Are you okay?, I hope you are not hurt ” she said anxiously placing her hands on Isabella shoulders.

When she walked up to Isabella she had noticed the red traces on her neck and arms from the scratching.

Jason recovered from the shock, hearing what Chloe said his handsome face turned gloomy. With a piercing gaze, he scanned the girls and said in an icy voice that would cause one to quiver “ who scratched her? ”

At that moment Emma arrived ,when she saw and heard what was happening she felt her knees go weak, she was scared that Charlotte or her friends might mention her name she was planing to be the saint after all, if her name is mentioned  Jason will definitely break-up with her for good. When  that thought popped up on her mind her heart sank immediately.

She was so lucky that she came just in time, she was waiting for Charlotte to send her the video of Isabella being tortured, she waited for a long time and she didn't receive the video so she went to take a look at the situation.

She signalled Charlotte and her friends secretly they immediately understood, Charlotte was quite smart she knew how cunning Emma can be so she played along cause she also knew that Emma can change the game and become favored by jason.

Charlotte replied Jason with “ she deserves what she got, she's so lucky that am not in the right dress to fight. You should ask your dear fiancee, she flirt with my boyfriend and i warned her to stay away from him but she slapped me on the face and  lost control of herself and beat us up like this. ” she said.

She glared at Isabella codly “ mark my words Isabella Andrew , I will take my revenge on you ” she said snapping her fingers.

“ you better shut up and stop spouting nonsense, what I did to you is just warm ups. If you ever mention my father's name in your bullshit you will not be able to walk for a year I assure you ” Isabella said glancing at them viciously.

Charlotte was intimidated and a little scared she glanced at her leg and shuddered in fear.

At that moment Emma spoke “ oh my God, Charlotte what happened to you, who did this ? She said helping Charlotte up on her feet.

” Isabella Andrew did this to me, I saw her flirting with my boyfriend and I came here to warn her but she hit me “ Charlotte said sounding wronged.

” Isabella why did you do this to her, why are you always voilent huh,you could have settled everything amicably, you should have  explained yourself to prove your innocence she's not a unreasonable person who wouldn't understand.“ Emma said.

Isabella walked up and stood before Emma and glared at her codly ” who gave you the right to speak to me, have never seen anyone as shameless and despicable as you are, you think am not aware that you are the one who sent this ladies to attack me, Charlotte mentioned your name when we were fighting a moment ago. “

Jason glared at Emma icyly ” is what she's saying true “ he said through gritted teeth.

Emma trembled and swallowed ”  Isabella is lying have done nothing of that sort , Isabella I know we had a rough start that was all a misunderstanding and that  doesn't mean that we are enemies “ she said while sobbing.

Isabella snorted “ you better shut up and stop pretending to be the victim of the whole incident, I hate people like you who are two faced,you are nothing but a scheming, cunning bitch “ Isabella said sounding frustrated of the whole thing.

Charlotte felt panicked she quickly said ” I didn't mention Emma's name Isabella is not telling the truth. This just between me and her “ she said.

Emma was smiling viciously at Isabella when Jason wasn't paying attention to her. Isabella was immediately infuriated.

Isabella was about to slap Emma when Jason held Isabella's hand   ” enough of this Isabella , stop being unreasonable. Have known Emma for long and I can tell that she's saying the truth, she has nothing to do with all of this, just because you two had a rough start doesn't mean she's a bad person. “ Jason said.

At that instant Isabella felt like Jason was a stranger to her, he didn't believe her instead he trusted Emma blindly she had thought that maybe he has started developing feelings for her but she just realized that she was wrong she was just like an item in his eyes , something he feels he can play with.

At that moment Emma began sobbing loudly  she leaned  her head on Jason's chest ” Jason have done nothing wrong, thank  you for believing me my love “ she went forward and hugged him, he placed his hand on the back of her head rubbing it gently.

Chloe was overwhelmed with anger this was the first time she disliked jason , she thought he was the perfect ideal guy.

” Jason are you for real, you believe this wretch over our Bella, you knew Bella before you dreamt of knowing a bitch like her “ Chloe said.

Emma glared at Chloe with an icy look. She felt like reaping Chloe's head off after all Chloe was holding the purse she couldn't afford the other day.

Even Alaxender was stunned and puzzled at the same time he doesn't understand how Jason's mind works.

Isabella was amazed by the way Jason was petting Emma who was in his embrace , she chuckled codly ” so you think am a lier right ? I lost my temper cause my late dad was insulted today all because of her yet you chose her over me. “ she said with tears welling up in her eyes .

She said and turned to walk away, Jason grabbed her wrist, “ Bella don't misunderstand me, it's just that Emma wouldn't do such a thing she has changed ” Jason said.

Isabella breaked her hand free from his , “ I get it jason. your words cut deeper than a knife ” she said leaving the scene.

Jason wanted to go after her but before he could move Emma held him tighter.

Chloe glanced at Jason with dissapiontment  in her eyes “ you are so unbelievable Jason ” she said and quickly chased after Isabella.

Isabella left the Manor, she called her mom and told her that  she's feeling ill and had to go home to get   some rest. After that she dropped her phone on the bench outside the Manor she squatted down and started sobbing uncontrollably , she felt someone's touch without raising her head to look she already knew who it was.

“ Chloe I want to be alone ” she said in a hoarse voice.

Chloe sigh and patted Isabella on her shoulder “ just let it out okay, have called our chaffeur he will be here in a few minutes. ”

“Chloe do you believe that am telling the truth or do you ….. ”

Chloe already knew what she was going to say so she interupted her “ how could you even ask of course I believe you ,cause I trust you. You are my sister we grew up together I know what you can do Bella.”

Isabella gave a bitter smile “ I wished Jason trusted me , he believed Emma over me because he will always love her not me ” she said .

She continued “ Chloe I feel like such a fool today, I thought that maybe Jason has started liking me and I could give it a try,but I just realized that am nothing to him even though we were childhood friends.I feel so hurt Chloe ,very hurt.I feel like my heart had been crushed  she said coughing kuh ,kuh ,kuh . Bella was drowning in grief.

” dont worry Jason will realize his mistakes very soon okay? “ Chloe comforted her.

At that moment the chaffeur arrived they got in and drove off.

While at the other side Jason and Alaxender went back to the party. Jason noticed that Alaxender was quiet while he kept speaking ” bro what's wrong “ he said.

Alaxender looked at him ” You are asking me what is wrong huh?, I should be the one asking you that question “ he said then strode off.

Jason was stunned he quickly caught up with him ” but Emma wasn't lying I know when she's lying and telling the truth “ he said.

Jason I think you should stop doing whatever comes to your mind, follow your heart and it will lead you to the right one ” he said and left in big stride.

Jason repeated what Alaxender said “ follow your heart and it will lead you to the right one ” he sigh loudly.

While in the ladies washroom, Emma was grinning with happiness she felt like she was going to explode from too much joy, even though her first plan failed the last one turned out to be much better. “ All I have to do is to wait and hear the news that Jason and that slut engagement is cancelled ” she said.

“ Wow you are so amazing Emma, I wanna be like you ” Charlotte said rubbing her arm that was broken by Isabella.

“ yeah Emma you are the best ”

“ Emma I loved the way you act ”

They all sang her praises which made her felt happier.

Suddenly her smile froze she just remembered something very important that she needed to execute so that Jason will never find out the truth.
