Chapter 105: Alex the baby

Mr and Mrs Anthony blushed in embarrassment. " What….what if he changes his mind then? " Her mother managed to say,it was obvious that she refused to admit defeat.

Emily burst into laughter as she sat on the couch with her legs placed on the coffee table. " Mrs Anthony, why don't you focus more on being a comedian, you are so good. You know it would have sounded more reasonable and serious if you put your speech the other way around, you should replace the he and and add you to it " she said arrogantly.

" Millie, I would pardon you for making this mistake, get up this instance and come with us back to your home in California. We can abort the pregnancy once we get there " Mrs Anthony said as she rubbed her temples.

" You should be ashamed to call yourself a woman and a mother. How could you ask me to kill an innocent life when you have children of your own, I am going to give birth to my baby and shower him with my love" she said viciously.

Her mother and father glanced at each other and Mrs Anthony nodded and slowly inched closer to Emily. She swiftly brought out a handkerchief and covered her nose with it. She struggled for a while before she fell on the couch unconsciously.

" I'm sorry Millie, I can't let you ruin your life " Mr Anthony muttered and made a phone call.

Two masculine men burst in and they picked the unconscious Emily and took her away.

" Where are we going now? " Mrs Anthony asked as they got into their car.

" I think we should look for a hospital nearby and get the baby aborted, I believe once it is done she wouldn't have any choice but to follow us back to California " Mr Anthony said and she nodded.

Immediately they drove off, Alexander's car slowly screeched to a halt. He got out with a box of chocolate cake as he strolled into the building.

He got to her apartment and surprisingly her door was left wide open, he frowned as he walked in " Millie!, Millie! " He called out but got no response.

He threw the cake roughly, he rushed into the rooms but couldn't find her and his heart sank immediately. He ran out of the house and went straight to Jason's apartment.

He knocked briskly and Isabella opened up with watery eyes, he didn't even take note of anything his mind was in total chaos.

" Where is Jason? " He asked hurriedly.

" He's not back yet, what happened? " She asked instantly as she took note of his expression.

" Millie is missing, I went to get her a cake and by the time I got back I met the door wide open and I couldn't find her " he said as he rubbed his temples.

" I will give Jason a call, " Isabella picked up her phone and the call got connected immediately.

" Please come back home, Emily has been kidnapped " she said hurriedly.

" Okay I'm close by " he said and she hung up.

" Look, let's go check the CCTV footage, I'm sure we will know who took Emily, " Isabella suggested and he nodded.

On their way to the security room, they luckily met Jason and they all went together.

The security guard quickly played the footage and they saw two macho men taking Emily away and behind was…

" zoom in, " Isabella said hurriedly.

The security guard nodded and he zoomed in. Isabella gasped from shock " this is Millie's parents but why will they do this to her? " She said.

" You mean Millie's parents took her away? " Alexander asked as he rubbed his forehead tensely.

" I don't feel good about this, " Isabella muttered.

" Dude, did she take her phone with her? I could ask Malcom to track down the location" Jason said.

Alexander shook his head " no she didn't, I hope they wouldn't do anything to her" he said worriedly.

" Fuck!, What should I do? " " " Alexander slammed his fist on the wall.

" Airport! They must have forced her to follow them back to California " Isabella yelled.

" Bella is right, they must have taken her to the airport, let's go quickly " Jason said.

Isabella felt a little dizzy, she lost balance and Jason quickly wrapped his arms around her waist for support. " Are you okay? " He placed his other hand on her cheek.

She pressed her lips together knowingly of what was wrong with her, she nodded her head " I'm good " she said and he held her hand as they walked out of the building.

" Which airport do we go to? " Alexander asked.

" Just go to any one close by from here " Isabella hastily said.

They arrived at the airport, and their search began. They looked around for a long while but couldn't find her figure. " Shit! " Alex cursed angrily.

" Alex, quickly use the public address system announcement " Isabella suggested.

Jason nodded and they rushed to that direction, they begged the lady in charge and that it was an emergency after great hesitation she agreed. " Thank you so much, " Isabella said.

Emily's name was called for a long while but still to no avail. Alexander felt his whole world crashing down on him.

The trio walked out of the airport looking worn out and disappointed. Just then Alexander received a call from Stacey.

He mistakenly picked up and with no other choice he decided to listen to her

" Hello, thank goodness you picked my call, are you together with Emily in the hospital? I can't find you around " she asked.

Alexander jolted upright when he heard Emily's name " which hospital? tell me quickly " he yelled impatiently.

" Um, Spring Grove City hospital, " she muttered on the phone.

Alexander hung up quickly and started the car " Stacey saw Emily in the hospital " he said nonchalantly as he drove at full speed.

They arrived at the hospital within five minutes after running across several traffic lights.

BACK AT A VIP WARD

Emily woke up and met herself lying on the hospital bed, she knitted her brows into a frown as she noticed she was putting on the hospital gown.

She slowly stood up and she felt a sharp pain on her head. " What am I doing here? " She muttered fearfully as she looked back at her baby bump.

She rubbed her temples as she recalled the last event that happened back at her apartment.

" Millie, I would pardon you for making this mistake, get up this instance and come with us back to your home in California. We can abort the pregnancy once we get there " her mother's words back there rang in her ear.

She broke into tears " Oh my goodness how could my parents do this to me? Did they really abort my baby? " she burst into tears.

Just then Alexander, Isabella and Jason came in and Alex quickly rushed to her.

" Millie, why were you taken to the hospital? Are you okay? " He asked as he cupped her cheeks.

" Alex the baby" she said in a tearful tone as she kept making whimpering sounds.

" Wha…what happened to our baby " he inadvertently stuttered from confusion.

" My parents aborted our baby, our baby is gone " she buried her face in his chest as she cried.

Alexander was dumbfounded, he could feel his blood boiling already, they were lucky they were Millie's parents if not he wouldn't spare them. He suppressed the anger burning within him. He patted her back tenderly " Millie stop crying, we can have as many babies as you want " he kissed her forehead but she refused to stop crying.

" Alex, I want my baby back, how can they do this to me? " she said in a hoarse voice.

Just then Mr and Mrs Anthony walked in with an embarrassed look on their faces.

Emily wiped her tears and removed the drip from her hand, she got down from the bed and walked to their front " wow! you said it and you did it, you both killed my baby you two are murderers " she screamed at them.

" Millie, calm down and listen to what we have to say, " Mr Anthony said.

" You are no longer my parents, I hate you both so much, just get out of my life don't you get it " she screamed crazily and Alexander quickly hugged her and she resumed another round of tears.

Isabella was about to speak but Jason held her back " this isn't the right time " he said and she nodded her head and sat down on a stool close to the door.

" We didn't abort the child " her mother said as the room fell quiet.

" What? Emily said as she raised her head from Alex chest.

" We wanted to but we changed our mind and realised it isn't right of us, you are our daughter and an adult and you have the right to make decisions for yourself. When we got to the hospital we found out you were running a fever from the doctor and he said you must have taken something cold which isn't good for you and the baby's health " Mrs Anthony explained casually.

Emily smiled happily " my baby is here, " she rubbed her tummy and Alexander heaved a sigh of relief. He knew Emily might have gone nuts if the news was to be true.

" We should go outside and give them some moment " Jason whispered and Isabella nodded obediently.

" Millie, your mother and I are very sorry for what we made you pass through for the past six months. We apologise and hope you will accept us as your parents back " her father said in a sad tone.

Mrs Anthony nodded " yes dear, your father is right. You don't have to worry, we won't try to harm the baby. After all, he is our grandchild, we completely accept him, " she smiled quickly.

Emily nodded as she narrowed her eyes " and Alex? " She stressed her words.

Mr Anthony glanced at him threateningly and then he sighs " and him " he manages to say.

Emily smiled and gave them a hug " I forgive you and I'm glad you are ready to change " she said.

Alexander chuckled softly " thanks mom and dad for accepting me into the family" he said and jammed his hands in his trousers pocket.

Mr Anthony snorted " make her cry and see the worst of me " he said in his deep voice.

Alexander gulped down nothing and let out a laugh " I promise I won't break Millie's heart, your daughter is my life " he hugged her hurriedly.

Emily smiled and kissed him on the lips, Alexander was about to reciprocate when he felt a piercing gaze from behind, he quickly withdrew from her and she chuckled knowingly.
