Carrying two kids can be frustrating especially when you're eluding death thus Kate thought of a plan.

They were slowing her down.

" Quinn sweetie" he responded with a stern look as if he could read her mind.

" I want you to hold Pamela's hand and go straight. Don't look back cos I'll be right behind you" Quinn wanted to refute but she wasn't paying attention to him anymore.

" Pamela, you want to see Mom and dad right? Pam nods desperately.

She knew they were kids but had no choice. They had to separate to thwart Cynthia's plan.

" Good. I want you to hold Quinn's hands and don't let go until you're out of here. Don't let go until you see your parents" she instructed placing her hands on Quinn's crouching beside a whimpering Quinn.

" Mommy is fine honey. I'm good. Some bad people want us dead, so you have to go get your father. Tell him where I am. I can handle it. My lovely boy" she sniffled pulling him into a hug then pulled Pam in too.

' I'm counting on you two. Follow the light. Don't be afraid. Dad is on the other side. Just tell him to come get me" she tells him again placing a warm kiss on his forehead then Pam.

" I love you so much, sweetie. Go ahead" Pam and Quinn ran into her arms then pulled away to bid her goodbye.

" Good luck" Quinn whispered pecking her then led Pam away according to her instructions.

It's just me now" she reminded herself looking at the horizon where they've vanished to and sighed praying for their safety.

I hope I did the right thing"

Few walks into the alley and she could hear the rumbling of the walls and panicked on her heels to get them back.

This wasn't her premonition. She can't lose her son after days of finding him.

Luck wasn't on her side Logan stood in the shadows Grimming.

" Time to pay bitch" he started pointing a gun at her but dropped it while reminiscing about her coldness from years of living with her.

" I won't make it that easy " he approached her smirking but she wasn't scared though she knew she was no match for him but that doesn't mean she will surrender.

He tends to punch her but she dodged stepping on his knees with her heels. It's a good thing they left it on.

He screamed loudly as it pierced his skin thus grabbed her hair intending to pull but its length made it impossible thus she punched his jaw which had him letting her go.

" Tough huh? Not for long" he muttered rushing towards her to hit her though he missed her chest which was his target and succeeded hence, she groaned clutching her stomach. He smiled then pulled her up.

Colt and his boys were inside the building scouting for her then ran into Alvin.

" Sir Alvin, what are you doing here? I told you I'll deal with it" he tells him with the fear of losing him.

" I got a signal. Quinn's bug is on. They're this way" he grabbed a gun and walked into the darkness while Colt tried to keep up.

They halt as they noticed approaching footsteps then hid ready to shoot but saw Quinn and Pamela sweating profusely from running thus Alvin pulled him into a hug.

" Thank goodness you're okay. Thank God" he pecked him continuously looking over his head in curiosity.

" Where's your mother? Quinn burst into tears clutching his leather jacket while he froze.

" Kate stayed back. She said she's behind us but Quinn doesn't believe her. Tell him she's fine" Pamela suddenly had the energy to speak after gulping a bottle of water.

Alvin's shoulders relaxed thus hurried inside.

At that moment he realized how much time he had wasted chasing shadows. He needed her, he'd be lost without her existence.

Nothing matters anymore if she dies, not his wealth or his son.

He realized he had loved Quinn for years because he was born of Kate. A child from the woman he loves.

He wasn't about to lose her after all he just got her back and he needed more time with her.

Imagine his reaction when he saw Logan punching and kicking her. He lost it going berserk on him.

With a clenched fist he kicked him off her replacing it with heavy mighty punches that had blood flowing from his mouth, nose, ears, eyes, cheeks, and lips then he twisted his wrists breaking it for touching her.

Logan screamed sorrowfully but that wasn't all as he proceeded to grab his leg and broke it one after the other earning a guttural roar from him which alarmed the others then he continued with the punches: breaking bones and tissues till he was unrecognizable and unconscious.

Yet he continued with it then noticed Kate's heavy breathing and ran to her helping her up while examining her bruises as she hissed in pain.

" Kate?? He called hauling her off the ground which was rumbling hurrying out of the building.

Thankfully, they weren't far from the exit.

Colt offered to help but he refused

" The building is collapsing" Colt announced the obvious as they made for the exit together and watched the wretched building collapse to the ground.

Kate was placed in the fastest car still breathing but Alvin wasn't listening to that.

His worries were her injuries at the moment.

Everything happened in Cynthia's absence. She had no idea of what transpired that day according to her, everything went as planned.

Having been to the hospital a thousand times, Kate hated it there but had to cope as her very caring husband wasn't taking chances with her.

She was still sulking over his decision when he knocked with a bouquet of flowers.

" Come in" she muttered picking her nails as he stepped inside in casual outfits: her favorite outfits. She didn't know when a smile appeared on her face.

" Hello beautiful, these are for you," he said in a coquette tone handing the bouquet to her which she accepted sniffing it.

" They're lovely" he smiles placing her legs on his lap kneading them.

" When am I leaving here? Alvin, it's boring here and...." She gasped softly wriggling her legs from his amazing hands.

" I'm here to keep you company if you'll have me" he whispered smirking, moving his hands to her thighs which she was staring at as it disappeared into her gown thus Quinn and Pamela rushed into the room.

Alvin quickly retracted his hand while on his feet.

" Dad, you forgot about us" Quinn complained hopping on the bed while Kate shift uncomfortably on the bed flushed and embarrassed.

" Quinn, your dad is weird today" Pam stated in annoyance as Quinn huffed leaning in Kate's arms.

" He's a big man. He can take care of himself. Mom is my priority" Kate purred touching her heart then kissed his head

" My sweet sweet boy. I love you the most" she pulled him closer while Alvin rolled his eyes.

" Well, she's my wife so, I get to see her every day even in my sleep" Quinn huffed unaffected.

" Not yet dad because right here right now, she's my mother, not a wife. You're lonely right mom? Kate giggled but Alvin glared at her thus she muffled her laughs.

" You're right. We're a team" Pam shakes her head and took a seat.

" Kate, when are you going home? I really want to see the resort" Kate scoffed cupping her cheeks then met Alvin's affectionate eyes.

" Well, that's not her home. She's coming home with us" he announced as Pam jumped up.

" I'm going to a mansion? Omg. Mom should hear this" Quinn chuckled fiddling with the buttons on her dress.

' really Mom? We're going to live in the same house together as a family? She pecked him pulling him closer.

" Yes sweetie as a family"
