Just like old times his grip extended to her tiny waist which had them at close proximity staring at each other.

Maybe it was the effect of the alcohol as Kate had a lopsided grin trying to steady herself in his arms.

" Alvin! She whispered then furrowed her brows like a bucket of cold water was poured on her subconsciously reminding her of his evil deed thus she tried writhing out of his grip.

" Surprised to see me?

" What do you think you're doing? Get your bloody hands off me" she commanded but he held her still leaning closer while she tried avoiding him by leaning backward only to give him a view of her perfect collarbone as he scoffed staring at her beautiful neck which she noticed then stood upright.

" What do you think I'm doing? I'm touching my wife" she snickered poking him yet he didn't bulge which annoyed her.

" I don't know what kind of sick game you're playing. I'm not your wife rich man" she tells him as he chuckled finding her resistance cute then pecked her while she yelled at him.

" Are you drunk Alvin Reagan? Get your hands off me asshole" she cussed profanities at him yet he held her in place then loosened his grip which she took as an opportunity to escape his hold.

' can we talk? Please Kate' she glared at him giving him the middle finger then continued searching for Louis while he followed her.

" He's playing pool at the game section. Kate, I know I have done some despicable things to you which I regret obviously. Can we get past that? She narrowed her eyes at him wondering if he was drunk.

" I can see you're drunk. Don't worry Colt will be here soon" she stated turning to leave to confirm his info then he dragged her back as she flushed against his chest then met his longing eyes.

" I just want to talk. Please" he pleaded moving his hand on her waist to her back slowly.

He pushed her short curls to sides as she gasped from the impact pushing him away then walked as fast as her legs could carry her embarrassed.

It was normal to react to his touch. He was once my husband" her subconscious tells her.

Fortunately, she saw Louis playing midnight pool with some boys while the ladies cheered him on. She sneered then entered the room.

" I thought you were drunk. C'mon let's go home" she tells him as a lady stopped her from touching him.

" What's with you bitch. He doesn't want to be with you. I can see why" she said sarcastically running her hands on his broad chest while she rolled her eyes.

" I don't have time for this. Louis c'mon" she said while Louis giggled walking towards her but was dragged back by the girl while he fell then fell asleep as Kate gritted her teeth bouncing on the poor girl.

" What the hell did you do? The guys laughed as they watched them punch each other severally while the other girl tried to protect her innocent face.

Two girls fighting over a guy was always amusing as they brought out their phone to record it.

" I wouldn't do that if I were you a baritone voice was heard. The boys hurriedly hid their phone then curt nod respectfully while Alvin dismissed them.

" Your phones? They grumbled but handed the phones to him anyways.

" That's enough" he bellowed hauling Kate off the poor girl who was more than happy to be saved and was out of the door within seconds as Kate was wiggling her way out of his hold to finish her off.

' calm down. He's alive and breathing and a full-grown man. I think you should stop worrying about him" she pushed him off crouching beside him to haul him off the floor but couldn't.

Alvin chuckled then helped her to wake him up.

" See, he's as good as new. Can we talk now?

" We have nothing to talk about"

' Kate, I didn't hurt our son. I love him just as much as you do. Believe me, David is up to no good. He's using you"

" I know. I allowed it as long as it hurts you. You don't know how it feels to be trampled on. Ridiculed and helpless. I want you to experience it because that's what you did to me. You're heartless Alvin and I refuse to be merciful. We'll see each other in court in five months. I have nothing to sort out with you" he hummed holding her hands while she tried wriggling it out of his grip.

" I was blinded by anger. I didn't think you would do that to me knowing how I feel about you. I loved you Kate as much as it hurts to watch you ridicule me in that video I wanted you. Those two years I spent away from you intensified the hurt I felt and I wanted you to feel it too but I found myself loving you more. It's all my fault. It's my fault you're like this but trust me David is no saint. If you think you can handle him then you're mistaken. Let me fix this" a part of her believed him as she noticed his longing and affectionate eyes tearing up because of her but another part of her doubted him thinking he was planning something drastic to lure her to a trap.

" What a beautiful performance Alvin. You should be a Poet. Don't come ranting nonsense to me about David because he was there for me when you left me to rot in jail"

" I was going to free you eventually. I did it out of jealousy. You cheated on me, Kate. You allowed another man to touch you then you ran away with him. It broke me. I acted out of impulse. I'm sorry. Let me make this right please" she maintained a blank face crossing her Hands above her below her chest.

' then start by raising my son from the dead. You can't? Well, I don't believe a word that leaves that cunny mouth of yours. Good day," she replied walking towards the door to find Louis smiling sheepishly at them and shook her head.

" David has been planning to bankrupt me for years now even before we met. He tried with my ex's but none could do the job until he discovered my attraction towards you. It explained his obsession with you. Kate believe me"

" Bring my son back. Maybe I'll listen to you" it was her last words as she sauntered out of the room with Louis leaning on her for support while grinning.

Alvin rubbed his eyes tiredly from the effect of alcohol as he couldn't face her in his right mind yet.

It was shameful.
