Chapter 77: Chapter 77
"Don't torture yourself with evilness. Because it has no escape, you will succumb to it before you will even realize what happened." [Ifveen]

Christian didn't want to give in, he dug his nails on his wrist to keep him awake. For a moment he noticed everybody's faces. They looked relaxed as if nothing he could do nothing. Perhaps he really couldn't. For the first time in his life, he wished he had his bodyguards with him. His eyes zoomed on the man who had plotted this, he didn't lock his eyes with Christian instead he chose to watch the dance floor from the clear wall ignoring him completely. A man stood behind Stuart respectfully, his head bowed. He seemed to be the assistant. Another man sat beside the Doctor, he was dressed in a waiter uniform. Everything was planned, he just himself jumped into the well. Christian's eyebrows clouded while his face turned red.
The man who called himself Hypno was dressed in a white lab coat and blue trousers with spectacles resting on his nose. Squinting his eyes at them dangerously he gritted his teeth and spoke lethally.
"You will pay for doing this." His voice shook while the doctor laughed at him.
"Oh." He snorted and Christian realized his consciousness was slipping away from him. As his eyes drooped he scratched the man's neck.
"I will kill. You." He muttered as he lost the remaining light in his eyes.
Dr. David Cameron is a Full-time psychiatrist while a part-time hypnotist. He had the power to hypnotize any human into submission of their memories or secrets for that matter. He does this by having people watch his device that he invented himself called the Hypnotic watch. It doesn't hurt that he was an excellent Nobel prize winner for being the only Doctor to treat more than 900 cases of Depressed patients with mere counseling.
Stuart was the 40% shareholder of his Hypnotic business Company. He had hired David when the man was in dire need of money to develop his Magical Hypnotic Watch and nobody was ready to give him millions on something that sounded ludicrous to people. Nobody in the outside world knew his real identity except some of the people who were involved in his company. The kind of name he had told Christian was the name he told his patients who were not aware of what would happen with them.
Years ago when Stuart met David, they were at a business party looking for new talent to hire. He didn't want to hire a person with a ton of experience, just a new talent and willingness to learn more. And he was talking to one of those kinds of guys when David came in asking the interviewing person to do him a favor. The man was embarrassed and tried to make David leave when giving up on the person, he directly approached Stuart. In the first few minutes, Stuart realized his super sharp mind. When he was hesitant about David's ridiculous idea of Hypnotic Watch, he whipped out his laptop, pulled it out, and pinned it around to show his plan. It was David's enthusiasm that led Stuart to believe in him and he ended up giving 100,000 dollars to the man at the stake 40% of his Hypnosis Company. So far, they have been gaining a great profit every year. It was a good deal. After the big revelation of details from his Private investigator Stuart ordered Dr. David to come to him as soon as possible. Dr. David wasn't fully aware of the plan. He was just ordered to hypnotize him and then help the boss to make him answer the questions. As if God was helping Stuart, Cynthia kissed him and then left because of Embarrassment while the man came out alone without any bodyguard. The drug they had given him was just a sedative to make him unconscious for the process.
His eyes glanced over the cold Christian. The man seemed to be sleeping. His head was bent towards the arm of the sofa, his body scattered all over. His shallow breathing was the only voice that irritated him. Stuart's eyes turned colder as his gaze fixed on his ugly face. He kept looking at the ugly-faced man and his eyes narrowed dangerously.
'I am not ready to let her go Christian Evercast. Even if people assume I am a maniac for doing this to you. I will never let her go, not until I have a chance.'
"Start your Process, Dr. David. I want to get it done as soon as possible." Stuart instructed the doctor feeling irritated.
"Okay, Sir. I will get to work right away."
Dr. David pressed on one of Christian's acupressure points and his consciousness returned slowly. He heard suggestive whispers. "Wake up, Christian Evercast. Wake up. Wake up slowly." Christian saw a hand moving a watch in front of his eyes in circular hypnotic passes. His eyes blinked as they focussed on the watch and then grape-like black eyes. His tone was wafting gait and those grape-like eyes captured his mind.
Fifteen minutes later, Stuart watched as he helped Christian to sit. He was pretty much dozing in and out of consciousness. His Chocolate brown eyes were moist and droopy. The Doctor loosened his collar buttons and he gazed silently at Stuart.
Dr smiled at Christian evil and it made him wary of the man he had hired.
"What is your real name Christian?"
"Christian Evercast." The response was slow, the tone emotionless.
"Okay."
The next few questions were related to his general wealth that Stuart had already known.
The Doctor craned his neck towards Stuart, his black eyes shone with a strange light. At this moment realization dawned upon Stuart, he was himself mentally unstable. "Anything you want to ask more sir?"
With a nod of affirmation from him, He asked his assistant to take the Doctor away outside. The sound of opening the door made Stuart ale. He looked up and down at the man feeling his muscles tightening.
"What happened to your Face Christian Evercast?"
"Nothing."
"But you look so ugly."
"It's a Mask."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Why do you wear it then?"
"Two years ago, Someone wanted to kill me, someone saved me but my face was scarred, after plastic surgery, it returned to its original way but police couldn't find the criminals. To catch the culprits, I am living with a masked face."
His voice and eyes both devoid of any emotional distress.
