When Christian stepped into the bedroom. He saw Riley thinking something deeply. To gain her attention, Christian cleared his throat and asked in a hoarse voice.

" What do you wanted to ask me, Honey?"

"I...

"How much do you earn daily Mindy?"

"What?"

I asked you, "How much do you earn daily?"

"Ah. About 10 to 100 dollars. It depends."

Christian frowned feeling dissatisfied with her question. Now he just wanted to take her with him to sleep. However, He still wondered if he could go on to kiss her. The first kiss they shared was addicting. She tasted like vanilla with a little bit of strawberry flavor. And he was addicted to it. It felt like his adrenaline was going up and up. He rubbed his face with a sigh. He had so much work to do, so much to manage and here he was thinking of their kiss again. She had become a bad habit of him. And he still relished it. He used to imagine her every time he was distressed or was busy but it didn't change even when she is gracing him with her presence.

Riley on the other hand was contemplating whether to ask Beggar about the house or not.

Taking a deep breath She stood up and asked Christian,

"How did you get so much money to renovate your house. In just a day?" Riley asked doubtfully.

"I."

"Aren't you just a beggar?"

"It's not my money. I have borrowed it from a friend!" Said, Christian with a pause of 10 seconds. Honestly, He forgot to think about it.

"Which friend?" Riley questioned again.

"He.

"Yeah. Who?"

He was silent.

"Please tell me who is it, Mindy?"

Silence again.

"I am asking you something. Mindy?"

"Ah! It's..." He was thinking of a reason that would clear her doubts.

Riley raised a brow "Yeah, it's? She was quite suspicious.

"Struck with a mind-blowing idea, "it's Andy's Money."He explained in a haste. He wanted to pat himself on the back for having such amazing lying skills.

"He was a beggar with me in the past, But now he is working in a great company, so I asked him to lend me some."

"Why?"

"I thought it would be too uncomfortable for you to stay here too, after all, you are not used to such an environment, so I thought why not?"

"You shouldn't have done that!"

"But I needed to do that Riley. We are married and I need to make sure you feel happy with me."

Riley facepalmed herself, She was exhausted.

Sighing to her herself "Mindy you shouldn't have asked for the money, Our marriage is just for a show you know that, right? We will get divorced as soon as that stupid ass will leave me alone, furthermore, I have thought it through, I will give you compensation for everything."

"But Riley."

"Promise me. You won't do anything like this again."

"Okay. I promise."

Riley sighed, "So then let's talk about our divorce terms, You can just mention how much amount of money you would like to have for compensation?"

According to her bank account, she had managed to save at least 700,000 dollars. If she calculated, she should give him 100,000 dollars at least.

Sensing he didn't answer She looked up into his azure brown eyes. While the Beggar gave her a look that felt like he was looking through her. He looked forlorn like she had kicked him in his gut. It made her heartbreak for him. But why would her heartache for him, He was just a nice stranger who helped her in need?

He looked hurt. Her eyes must be playing tricks on her. Why will he be hurt?

"What the fuck did you just said? Christian's voice roared!

"Don't be shy. I will compensate you with a handsome amount of money!"

Riley thought for a while, 'she guessed he would be okay with it and he must have understood that! However, he sounded angry but why would he be mad?'

Simultaneously, on the other hand, Christian was so angry and hurt, He knew long before that she must have a plan in her stupid little brain because she agreed that easily. But somewhere deep inside he had hoped! He wanted to give her a fairytale, But this cruel woman! she would never change! His heart ached and he was the reason his heart was hurting like hell. However, couldn't she have waited for a few days before saying it. Alas! It was his choice of loving her, so he had no one to complain to.

But still, He was even okay to be a beggar for her! What else can he do? Could she ever find someone who can propose to her 111times and still dare to try again?

He knew she does not love him? But can't she even respect his feelings for her? What a pity! She didn't know who he was!

He must have broken too many hearts of women that God was taking his revenge like this that he fell in love with a cruel woman.

"I... What's wrong Mindy?" Riley questioned cautiously. She was scared to see him so angry. Okay. But Who wouldn't be, He looked so scary That even his forehead veins were protruding while it felt like he was trying to keep it low.

"Don't you dare to say divorce word again Honey! I am never leaving you!" Christian almost shouted at the poor woman. Who didn't even knew what was her fault?

"Mindy but this was the help I wanted! I wasn't able to tell you this because of Cynthia, So if you misunderstood, I am sorry! Riley said guiltily trying to keep her head low.

But then he didn't say a word so when she looked at him again, He looked like he was going to punch something or someone. His knuckles were turning white with how hard he pressing them together.

"You can't divorce me ever Mrs. Beggar," Christian growled and punched the wall, Riley was petrified when she saw the blood on his knuckles, She tried to hold his hands to check the wound, but he pulled it away with a wince as if she had burned him.

And then as if he was possessed by the devil, He forced her in his arms and used his slender fingers to hook her delicate chin. Kissing her fiercely.

Just when Riley understood what was happening. She tried to shake him off her.

However, His grip around her waist tightened just when she tried to wriggle under him again. While His lips never left her they were still on hers biting, coaxing her. It was difficult for her to hold herself still. She moaned painfully when her soft lips turned red.

Just when she thought she would die without oxygen, he left her. Glaring at him fiercely she tried to breathe normally.

While Christian has finally managed himself. The kiss surely calmed his Heart. Kissing her felt like home. Like he has got his home after wandering for so long.

" Y...Yo...You freak! Why did you kiss me?" Riley shouted Angrily.

Christian smiled, a cold smile. And said calmly, "You are my wife, Ofcourse I can kiss you, Honey!"

"W. We are married only for the show." Riley Stammered.

"You're Wrong Honey, We are married and I believe in the Institution of marriage. So it wasn't a show. our marriage is real and legal." Christian announced mockingly.

While She looked fierce as she looked up at him. Like she was the fire. Or a little angry kitten who was ready to pounce on him. To scratch him. He was amused.

She approached him one step at a time., While He watched her like a show.

Watching her, There With him, His mind gave her various kinds of imaginations, and cursed his mind for wandering into the places it shouldn't.
