The blissful memories of her childhood under the loving eyes of her father filled her head. Riley's eyes stung from the tears that leave and the ones forming continuously. She never even once imagined that she would be a reason for his disgrace.

Yet She didn't regret doing "The low-class job, " According to her father. it wasn't her dream. it was the dream of her Stuart. She will never regret it. She always wanted to fulfill his dreams.

Riley clearly remembered the day they first met.

[Riley Brown: 5-years-old]

[Stuart George: 6-years old]

Two kids were fighting with each other when five-year-old Riley arrived at the playground behind their house.

Riley glanced at The small boy who was slightly taller than her and maybe more chunky too and the other one who had beautiful blue eyes, He was, even more, taller than her and the chunky boy. Seeing them fighting brutally, She tried to prevent them from fighting but they didn't even throw a glance towards her. So, thinking quickly she placed her tiny frame in between them, Just then the blue-eyed boy pushed her down and she fell.

She pouted in annoyance at the rude behavior of the second boy who she didn't even know.

"I will tell my mama Stuart that you pushed a gurl down. And you took my car too. she will beat you to death." The fat boy said while crying and trying to snatch his red car from the tall one.

"Give me my car back Stuart. My mommy gave it to me." The fatter boy ran towards him and pushed him hard to the ground.

The blue-eyed-boy fell straight on his stomach into the puddle of muddy water, his clothes dirtying and his knees bleeding crimson due to the scratch he got right after he fell. He started to cry, His shrill voice reaching the ambient noise around them, and to the little Riley's ears.

The fat boy took the toy car and left there. Riley stared at him, she blinked thrice and then offered her little hands to him her fingers too small to pull him out of it but her heart too big to ignore him lying there injured. Riley hardly managed to help him.

[Five minutes later,]

Riley helped the blue-eyed boy to sit on the bench."Why did you push me?" Riley asked placing a bandage on his knee wound, blowing air from her little mouth to make it less painful.

"I just wanted to stop you from fighting," Riley said blinking her eyes when she didn't receive an answer to her earlier question

The boy stared at her. And stared. But he said nothing. Yet, He was sniffing his nose when she was helping him. His blue eyes filled with tears but he didn't let them flow.

"Done," Riley said smiling, after completely bandaging his knee.

"I'm sowwy. And Thank you." the six-year-old, blue-eyed boy said sniffingly.

"It's Otay. My name is Riley."

"Hello! I am Stuart." The boy forwarded his hand for a shake confidently.

"Friends?" Riley asked smiling

"Yes," Stuart said chuckling.

Riley then helped him to take him to his home. From then onwards whole neighborhood knew who they were. Shatterproof Friends. They did everything together. Yet, when it came time to be together. He left her in this cruel world.

[Riley Brown: 12 years old]

Riley snuggled deeper into the arms of Stuart and rest her forehead on his heart.

"Happy Birthday Stuart."

"Thank you. My Little jelly bug." Stuart says quickly planting a lingering kiss on her forehead."

"Glad Georgie pooh."

"Have you thought about your dream?"

"Yeah. I want to be a writer."

"How about you Jelly bug?"

"I haven't decided yet Georgie. "

"Okay. Let's go to the party. "

[Riley Brown: 13 years old]

"What should I do Lisa? I think I like Stuart." Thirteen-year-old Riley asked her best-friend.

" Just tell him. Ril-boo."

"Are you insane? What if he doesn't like me?"

Lisa rolled her eyes at her stupid best friend's assumption. Their whole class knew the most handsome boy in class, And Riley's best friend, Stuart loves her to death.

"Ril-boo, you are too stupid! Do you think a 14-year-old-year-old-boy will punch a boy, just because he gave you chocolates?" She asked him.

"That's how he loves his friends," Riley mumbled in a daze.

"Stupid Riley." Lisa flickered her forehead to stop her day-dreaming.

A rock hit her window breaking their conversation and she walks towards it, her eyes meeting blue ones. Stuart throws his hands upward, "Are you ready for the best birthday of your life Jelly bug?"

She presses her fingers on her lips, "Be quiet Georgie! I'm coming."

"Okay. Jelly bug."

Throwing the door open, Riley finds Stuart leaning against the wall, hands full of gifts.

Keeping the gifts aside, He stood up and kisses her cheek just near the corner of her lips whispering,

"Happy birthday My little Jelly bug." While Riley's palms start sweating, their heart-pounding uncontrollably like always.

[Riley Brown-15 years old]

"What happened Ril-boo. Why are you so happy?" 16-year-old Stuart asked Riley in suspicion.

"You know Georgie, My crush's birthday is coming," Riley said smiling dreamily.

"Who is he?" Stuart asked clenching his fist, trying to control his anger.

"I won't tell you! Otherwise, you will scare him away."

"Little jelly bug, I won't scare him away. Just tell me his name?"

Riley shook her head trying to endure the poking of Stuart.

"What if I say, it's you?"

"I!"

[Riley Brown-Present]

Riley didn't even realize she was sobbing Until Christian held her in his arms and rubbed her hair in circles.

Christian's heart broke at her sight. He didn't know his small actions can bring this much amount of grief to her. He cursed himself in his head to do that to her.

" Honey. Stop Crying."

"I.."

"Shhh. Don't speak."

When Riley was calm enough to stop her tears from falling. She left him in the living room to wash her face and calm herself down.

Having spent an hour in the bathroom Riley decided to face her life. She does not know how and why everything was happening to her. It almost felt surreal to face so many things in just the last two days.

When she opened the door, She found Beggar beside the bathroom door.

Faking a smile that was felt more ugly than Crying, Riley told him about her meeting schedule.

"I have a meeting in the office. So, I gotta go, Mindy. Bye!"

"Wait! Honey, I think you shouldn't go to your office today. it's not safe."

"No Mindy. It's a very important meeting. Besides, This can't affect me. Also, my colleagues are not that terrible. They won't create trouble for me. So you Don't have to worry about me."

Christian sighed heavily and decided to not leave her alone. According to whatever happened in news, Almost everyone can identify her. If he leaves her alone, she might be in danger.

Despite knowing, she won't agree easily, He tried

"I will come with you. Honey please."

"But, Mindy. It's not necessary."

"Please! Honey. I will just stay outside your office. Let me go with you. Otherwise, I won't be able to relax."

Riley sighed but said nothing. If it wasn't for Mr. Smith's appointment she wasn't in the mood to work. 'Hah, Life sucks!'

Christian and Riley left home together in silence. The street was filled with people and cars. And why wouldn't it be? It was 11 in the morning and Monday. Ofcourse, it would be. It was rush hour.

Christian was sweating, he never really had to go out himself to fetch a cab for him. He was twitching uncomfortably since It was his first time.

As soon as they reached the highway someone pushed Riley on it, trying to hail a cab.

Just then, Christian's pupils contracted. He pushed Riley away from the car. He was just in time to save her. However, He wasn't fast enough to save himself and the Blue Car plowed straight into him. Christian was sent flying, somersaulting in the air.

The great thud of Christian's body hitting the tarmac scared the life out of everyone present there.

Riley pushed throw the crowd frantically and stood in front of her husband who was lying in a pool of his fresh blood. Riley dropped to the floor in panic, drawing him into her arms.

She shouted, "Help somebody, Please call the ambulance." Her voice was weak and thin, but she still managed a desperate screech.

Everything that happened today was beyond Riley's nightmare.
