MOST WANTED
Elsewhere, Jemimah tried to stay awake as much as possible. She wasn't sure about her safety. 'Sergio and other Olana loyalists must be plotting to kill me without raising any suspicion,' she thought.
For a moment she wondered about how she suddenly transformed into such a powerful cloud to defend herself while at the party. Prior to that moment, the young lady never really believed in superpower abilities.
She closed her eyes deeply and concentrated on the rage she felt while Ariana and Jason's flame tried to hurt her. Then a surge of unnatural energy started to flow through her again! This somehow affected the temperature of the room. It dropped to less than zero degrees when measured in Celsius.
She was left with mixed feelings. Jemimah was excited to be exposed to a whole new world of different possibilities. Still, she was scared of the recent happenings.
Her mind went to Jason and his very touching demonstration of love. Especially his words when he said he couldn't let her go. This made her blush. A smile appeared on her face and she bit her lips softly. It was all she has ever wanted. Being in love with a man that would willingly fall for her over and over again. So, she became worried about him.
'Maybe he is in a ward somewhere,' she thought to herself. 'I will ask the next doctor or nurse that comes into the ward.' But it soon occurred to her that she was cuffed to the bed. She also had no idea that an officer was standing just outside the door.
A few minutes later, an adorable and very courteous young woman walked in. She greeted Jemmy and felt her pulse. "You will be discharged in no time. This is the last shot of your final dose. Why is your room freezing cold?"
"Okay, thanks," Jemimah replied. "I don't know why it's so cold here. Ma'am, do you mind telling me where Mr. Jason Sam was taken to after the incident?"
"Sorry ma'am but I have no idea," the doctor answered.
"What hospital is this?"
"Lordham General," the nice woman smiled at her.
Meanwhile, back in Ariana's ward, she refused to be interrogated.
While she was asleep, she burned from a very severe fever or so the doctors thought. No form of medication seemed effective. Finally, she awoke and asked for Roberto! She remembered feeling a rush of energy in her dream.
The nurses on duty tried to calm her down thinking she acted the way she did as a result of the fever. But she wouldn't be pacified. Ariana even held on to one of them with her hand that wasn't cuffed and was unwilling to let go of her.
When the news reached the doctor, she quickly prescribed a very powerful sedative to be administered to her in order to control her aggression. "Madam, even if we tell you where he is, you won't be discharged unless you've made a full recovery," the most senior nurse warned.
"I have got to go. His life is in grave danger!" She cried. "That evil man, Coach Sergio, will not stop until he is dead!"
Nobody believed a word from her mouth. But everyone soon found a way to escape when she burst into extremely hot flames! The bed on which Ariana slept melted. And the cuff fell off her hand like it was made of wax. Not even the officer outside the door remained!
In no time, she was on the street walking naked. Ariana was covered in burning flames. Nobody dared to deter her. But it was as if Jason felt her rage. He became very agitated. As a result, the athlete transformed and left the hospital after setting the ward ablaze unintentionally. He couldn't control himself.
Both the bride and the groom sought their lovers. Jason was the first to recognize Jemimah. He could feel her essence from afar. Somehow, it was known to him that she was in great danger.
He perceived that the person nearest to her was loyal to Olana. She possessed the treacherous stench of Sergio all over her. But, before the evil doctor could administer her poison on Jemimah, Jason was there on time to blast the adorable woman straight to her death! She was scorched beyond recognition.
This was his first kill. Notwithstanding, he would not mind destroying the rest of the world for love. Still, whenever he was in this state, he struggled within himself. The spirit of Olana within him hated Jemimah a great deal. So, he couldn't help but attack Jemmy.
In reaction to this, she also transformed into a cold cloud. They fought against themselves until both of them changed back into their human form. And Jason was naked.
Jemimah threw a piece of clothing to him. They hugged one other tightly and broke down in tears. After which, both of them escaped through a window Jason had blasted earlier.
They found themselves in a garage. Jemimah drove to her house to gather a few things in order to hit the road again and make their way out of Lordham.
In less than a day, their lives changed into that of violence and crime. Rumors about humanoid flames spread like wildfire. Soon, the government declared them the most wanted individuals in all the land!
