Turning my head I saw Lily still standing there. "She's not waiting for me." I replied shrugging."Alright then. Let's go." She said and marched towards the car."Oh, I have to pick up the twins." She said and stopped slapping her forehead."Thanks for the offer but I have to pick up the twins." She said turning around to me."We can pick them up on the way home. My brother attends the school, remember? Mum asked me to pick him up today." I lied."Oh, she did?" She asked me."Yep." I said nodding my head."Hn. Okay then." She said and walked to the car."Hey, Heaven?" I called and she turned around. I guess she was getting accustomed to that name."Take the key. I need to call someone." I said tossing the key to her.She caught it swiftly and then looked down at the key in her hand. Then she looked back up at me."Oh! Sure, call your Mum and tell her you'll pick up your brother today." She said pointing at me and then she laughed walking to the car.How did she know that?!I pulled out my phone and called my Mum's number. It was unavailable so I called her Secretary instead.It connected on the third ring. "Good day. Ashford Office. How may I help you?" "Hey, Melissa. It's Quinnel." I said."Oh my! Quinnel! How are you doing? Your Mum isn't in the office right now. She's doing her rounds. Do you want to drop her a message?" She rambled.That's Melissa for you. She asks you one question followed by another and then finally another."Um sure. Tell her I said I would pick up Caspian today." I said."Oh sure. I'll tell her. Bye." She said and before I could say bye back, she had disconnected the call.Melissa was an older woman. More older than my Mum. She has been my Mum's secretary for a very long time now. I shook my head and pushed the phone into my pockets walking to the car. Surprising enough, Coach didn't ask us to wait for practice after school."Quinnel? Are you going to the party?" I heard making me turn my head to Lily."I'm not sure yet. I'll let you know if I would go." I said and opened the driver's door slipping into my seat."You ready?" Heaven said as soon as I entered."I'm the one driving. Thought I should be the one to ask that question?" I asked and she rolled her eyes at me."Here you go." She said passing me the key."Thanks." I said collecting it.I pushed it into the ignition and turned it roaring the engine to life. I drove out of the parking space and unto the street."So, when did you get this car?" She asked and I turned my head to her."Dad's last birthday gift to me." I said simply."How nice." She said and turned her head to the window.I knew parents talk was a sensitive topic to her, so I said nothing more."Heaven?" I called and she turned to me."Why do you keep calling me that?" "What? Heaven?" "Yeah." I chuckled and turned my face back to the street."It's your name still. Just spelt backwards." "N- A- V - A- E- H. Spelt backwards is H- E- A- V- A- N. That's not the spelling of Heaven Ashford." She said laughing at me."Heavan... Oh God! Google lied to me." I said spilling where I got the name."Google?" She asked."Yeah... I was looking for a nickname for you and I saw it and without even looking at the name again, I went for it." I said."Hold on." She said and pulled out her phone. "Oh, Google indeed wrote Heaven. But that's for the name, Nevaeh." She said and I pursed my lips."Anyways, I'll be calling you Heaven." I said and she nodded shaking her head.Her phone rang suddenly jolting me up and I saw her roll her eyes before she picked it up."Where in God's name are you?!" I heard a male voice."Hello to you too Koa." She said.

"Navaeh. You need to come soon. I heard the Boss is coming around soon." He said.

I have to say, the dude has a loud voice. I mean even though the phone isn't on speaker, I can hear him clearly.

"The Boss is coming? But I have to go home and change out of my uniform. How many minutes do you think he has left to be there?"

"About 55 to 60 minutes." He replied.

55 minutes... That's fucking 1 hour. I turned my head to the phone at once in bewilderment. Why call if the boss isn't going to be around in an hour's time?

"An hour? Are you fucking with me right now?!" She yelled.

"I wish. See yah." He said and hung up.

"What an unusual person." I said.

"I agree. Just got me scared for no fucking reason." She said rolling her eyes.

"Alright. Too much f word. We're at the kid's school." I said pointing at the building not far from us.

"Oh right." She said and heaved a deep sigh.

Parking the car, I looked around to see Caspian sitting down beside two girls.

"Oh there are my babies." She said with a smile and hopped out of the car walking to them.

I slipped out of the car and walked towards Caspian.

"Hey big man." I greeted and he looked up at me.

"Quinnel! What are you doing here?" He asked eyeing my car.

"Came to pick you up." I said and he grinned at once.

"For reals?! Will you come and pick me up tomorrow too? And next week? Forever?"

"Well, sure. When I don't have practice." I said and he jumped up.

"Did you guys hear that? My brother is going to pick me up everyday!" He said to the two girls who only looked at him and then me and nodded their head facing their sister.

"We got this project to do." Aelin, I think said to Heaven.

"What's the project about?" She asked.

"Aren't you late for work?" The second girl asked.

"Oh right. Work!" Heaven said jumping up as well.

She turned to me and then looked down at the guy holding my hand tightly.

She then bent down to look at him.
