Chapter 6: Chapter 6
Navaeh Thatcher
"I wanted to invite you to a party." I heard and I rolled my eyes walking away slipping my hand into the pockets of my cardigan.
A party? It's just the second fucking week! Calm the fuck down you hormonal teenagers!
Well, it's not like it's my problem. I have absolutely nothing to do with the parties they throw. Haven't gone to one like for Three years now.
Parties are a waste of time, in every fucking possible way. I mean, imagine this... A sea of people, drunk and their hormones running about like crazy all together in one place.
How messy and sweaty would that be?! Very! Eww!
"Wait for me." I heard making me pause stepping into the classroom.
I turned around to see Zaire heaving heavily.
"You okay?" I asked and he raised his thumb in approval before we stepped into the class together.
Surprising enough, he said nothing about leaving his standing alone in the hallway taking to the locker like a crazy man.
He sat beside me and I opened my mouth to say it was Quinnel's seat before I remembered he wasn't in this class.
"You're not in Mr Finch's class." I said pointing at him.
"I transferred." He replied shrugging.
"You did? From what class?"
"Latin. Became boring right on the first day." He said and I laughed at him shaking my head.
"Get off my seat."
We both turned to Quinnel glaring down at Zaire.
"This is your seat?" He asked pointing at the chair.
"Yep. Now get off." He replied.
"Hold on. First Come First Serve. I got here first." Zaire replied and Quinnel raised his fist and the next thing I saw Quinnel was setting his bag down on the table before he took his seat.
"Where is Zaire?" I asked.
"Right here, my lady." I heard making me turn around.
"Oh you're right there. But isn't that someone else's seat?" I asked.
"So? First come First Serve." He replied shrugging.
I shook my head at him. It didn't work with Quinnel, what's the assurance it was going to work with whoever owned the seat originally?
"Oh right! How did you get my contact?" I asked turning around to him.
"What?" He asked.
"Oh I see where Quinnel got it from. You both are not okay." I said pointing at him nodding my head.
"He asked me to get it for you." He said and I rolled my eyes.
"We already established that. Now, the issue on ground is where did you get my contact?"
"Ah!" He yelled and then placed his head onto the table.
"Hold on, what's wrong with you?" He said suddenly looking back up.
"Me?" I pointed at myself with my index.
"No, you." He said and I noticed his voice was directed to Quinnel.
Quinnel was staring absentmindedly at the strap of his bag and I blinked at him then turned to Zaire to see him already waiting for my eyes to look over at him.
I shrugged and he did the same as well. I almost slapped his head right there and then.
I looked back to Quinnel shoving his arm with my elbow lightly. He blinked and looked at me.
"Who? Me?"
"No. Me." Zaire replied and he rolled his eyes.
"Why did you leave abruptly on Saturday?" I asked and he blinked at me before he paused.
"I sent you a text telling you my Mum ordered me to come home." He said and I shook my head pulling out my phone.
"No you did not." I said opening the message app.
"I did." He said leaning in to check my phone.
I showed him the last message I got which was from... Connie. She was asking if I wanted to... Hold on.
I turned the phone back to me, oh... If she should open a group for the three of us. Kill me !
"A group?" Zaire asked.
"Get your eyes out of my phone." I turned glaring at him.
"So what do you say?" I heard suddenly making me turn my face back to the front to see Connie staring at me. Ashley was looking at me as well.
"I mean, sure?" I said and she beamed like the child that had gotten the gift she wanted for Christmas.
"I want in on the group too!" Zaire said pouting.
"Uh sorry... If you haven't noticed, it's a girls only group." Ashley said gesturing at the three of us, herself, Connie and me.
I blinked at Zaire pouting lips shaking my head. He sometimes behaves like a man child even though I had never talked to him before, you could see he genuinely like Quinnel so did Quinnel.
"How about we open a group and add him in it and then open another group for just the three of us?" I suggested and Connie nodded her head.
"Okay! I'll create our group now."
"Quinnel, do you want in on the group too?" I asked turning to him.
"I was afraid you wouldn't ask." He said and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Okay, I'll open the ones for the five of us then." I said and they nodded their head.
Then I paused turning around to face Zaire who was looking at me like he knew what I was about to say.
"I'll call you now." He said and pulled out his phone.
"No!" We both yelled. Hold on, we?
