Lisa looked at Riley who lay on the sofa like a dead fish
"Are you tired" Lisa asked as Riley didn't even bother answering
Forget it, let the friendship take it course
She can never follow Lisa to make friends again

"I think you have not completed that task dad gave to you, so you can still come to school with me" Lisa said with a smirk
Hearing her Riley couldn't help jumping out of the sofa
We can complete the task in another way" she said and dragged herself to her bedroom
Lisa smiled slightly as she turned and left the house
She drove the car to the Smith's company
The receptionist saw her and let her in without asking anything
Anyway everyone knows that this is the Boss's daughter and will be their Future Boss
Lisa got to her Father's office
Seeing the office empty, she dropped her bag and went on to make tea for herself
She sat down and drank the tea as she waited patiently for her dad to come
The door of the office opened as Mr Smith and a lady came in
Lisa turned to them
"You are here" Mr Smith said and sat down on his chair
"Uhm" Lisa replied
The lady looked at Lisa as a light flickered past her eyes
Lisa looked at her too and raised her eyebrows
Then turned to her Dad
"You decided to date" Lisa asked
As Smith looked at her surprised
"Why do you say that" Smith asked but Lisa remained silent without any expression on her face
Ashley looked at the two
Smith, who is She" Ashley asked
But didn't notice the slight frown on Smith's face
Is my daughter" Smith said as Ashley made a wow
She is beautiful, you are blessed to have such a daughter" She said not noticing the sinking in Smith and Lisa's face
We will talk about the business later, I will discuss with Lisa first" Smith said
Ashley nodded although she didn't want to leave
So annoying" Lisa whispered but was still heard by Smith
You don't like her" Smith said it more like a fact than a question
She is not worthy" Lisa said as Smith Chuckled
"Why are you here" He asked
"You gave Riley a task ?" Lisa asked as Mr. Smith nodded
"What is it about"
"If she didn't tell you then you don't need to know"
"Alright" Lisa said as she took a sip of her tea
Mr Smith's next word made her spurt out the tea in her mouth
"Don't you think is time to find a spouse"

Lisa coughed as her Dad handed her a handkerchief
"The files here are worth Millions of Naira" he said as he called his secretary to clean up
After the secretary left
Smith looked at her again
"Dont stare at me like that" Lisa said as she dodged looking at him
"Am serious" Mr Smith said
"Dad, how did you have such thoughts" Lisa asked bewildered
"Anyway if you don't have I can find for you" Mr Smith said as Lisa sighed
Anyway is useless arguing
"Do what you want" Lisa said
And stood up to leave
She didn't want to continued this conversation
"The young master of the Miller's Family is a good choice"
Her dad voice sounded as Lisa almost didn't trip
"Can your timing always be so strange" Lisa complained as she stabled herself
And walked out of the office
"I will fix a blind date for you"
Mr Smith voice sounded from behind her
She pursed but didn't turn back
She got to the garage as her phone rang
Lisa took out the phone from her bag
"Yes"
" Miss Smith this is Liam" Liam voice sounded from the other end
Lisa thought of what her father just said she couldn't help holding her forehead
Is this man so fast
Anywsy is better she explain everything now
So no one will have a wishful thinking
"Hello" Liam's voice sounded again
"Mr Miller, I hope you understand we are not compatible, so this blind date won't work at all
I hope we continue to maintain our working relationship" She completed
Liam on the other hand was stunned
He didn't understand this script
"Miss Smith I don't know what you are talking about, and this isn't the reason I called" He explained hastly so as not to cause another misunderstanding
Hearing his words Lisa pursued
Then why did you call and what did you want to talk about" Lisa asked
"Is about the sudden quiting if Riley, Can we meet and talk" He asked
"Alright, send the address" Lisa said abd hung up immediately
She is really embarrassed
"Dad, you have to help your daughter" Ashley said as she acted like a baby to her father
Mr Johnson looked at the Daughter who was already 30 years old but still acting like a Child

"What's the problem" he asked with a smile
"Dad, I like Mr Smith" Ashley said
Mr Johnson's smile froze
"What did you say" Mr Johnson asked
"I like Mr Smith and he has a daughter" Ashley said as she hugged her Dad arm
"Why did you like him" Mr Johnson asked as the smile in his face totally disappeared
I just like him, he is Rich, handsome and he is totally my type" she said
Although Mr Johnson didn't like the daughter's decision
He couldn't help but compromise
Then try you best, but if he doesn't like you remember to retreat" Mr Johnson warned seriously
