EPISODE 12
Lisa came out of her bathroom as she went straight to the refrigerator
She opened it and took a bottle of water out of it
Without using a cup she drank the water directly from the bottle
You are awake" Riley said with it a smile
But Lisa spurted her water in her mouth
What so shocking that you have to do that" Riley asked as she threw a wipe to her
You" Lisa said and caught the wipe
Me?" Riley asked
What are you doing here" She asked
I quit my job at the police station" Riley said as Lisa looked at her
Dad asked you to quit?" Lisa asked as she nodded and continued drinking water
Go and have your bath, breakfast will be ready
Cough, cough
Hearing her Lisa couldn't help choking
Riley looked at her
She took the water from her
Don't drink again
You, what are you planning" Lisa asked
I don't know" Riley said and went into the kitchen
Lisa stood there for sometime before finding her way into her room
After washing up she came out
To see Riley also dressed sitting down at the dinning table
Lisa raised an eyebrow
She took the omelette and took a bite while looked at Riley
Why are you staring at me that way?" Riley asked but Lisa said nothing abd continued staring at her
Is there something on my face" She said touching her face
Lisa dropped the omelette in her hand and folded her arms
You are too enthusiastic, and is causing me a bad feeling" Lisa said
What bad feeling are you having" Riley said acting ignorant
Lisa drank the remaining coffee and carried her bag to leave
You can go on your appointment" Lisa said and walked to her car
She got it and made to drive out but was stopped by Riley
Riley opened the car door as she got into the passenger's seat
What are you doing" Lisa asked calmly
What do you think" Riley said acting mysterious
Lisa ignored her and drove off
Where are you going to stop" Lisa asked after a long drive
Am going to school" Riley said
The car came to a stop
Dad asked you to do this" Lisa asked as Riley nodded
Get down, there is no need for you to go to school because of me" Lisa said
Well is because of you, why did you grow up with such character" Riley snorted as she continued seating not planning to move
Lisa sighed helplessly as she started the car and drive off
Anyway she knows that it is useless to ask her to get down because Riley will never listen
She got to school as she packed the car and abd got out
Riley also came down from the passenger's seat
She looked at Lisa who already locked the car and was going forward
She ran up to her and held her hands
Lisa raised her eyebrows and looked at the hands held by Riley
We are in the same major" Riley explained
Using the other hand Lisa rubbed her eyebrows
Why does she feel like she is going to be unlucky today
They got to the lecture hall
She made to walk over to her normal seat
But Riley dragged her to the front seat were there were so many people and it was lively
Everyone looked at the person dragging Lisa around
They were surprised because is a new face
Let's seat here" Riley said
Is too crowded" Lisa said and made to stand up
But was held tight by Riley
This place is ok" Riley sajd with a smile
Hello classmate" Eva walked to them with a smile and greeted Riley
Riley smiled softly and nodded
Classmate are you if our major, I haven't seen you before" Eva said
Oh me, am an exchange student" Riley said
Lisa pulled out her hand from Riley as she put a headset in her ear
Oh that's good, then you must be close friends with Lisa" Eva said as Riley nodded
We are best friends, we've been friends since childhood" Riley said with a smile as she used her other hand to pull out the headset from Lisa's ear
Lisa frowned and looked as Riley
Lisa how have you been" Eva asked
Hearing Eva's question Riley breathed a sigh of relief
She thought that Riley won't be close to her course mate but seeing someone greeting her, that means they get along well
Lisa raised her head
What does it have to do with you" Lisa asked
I just.." Eva asked but tears already filled her eyes
Riley frowned
Ok, even she won't make fruebds with this kind of person, such white lotus
My Family Lisa is like this when she don't like someone" Riley said as Eva froze
Of course she knows Lisa doesn't like her , do you have to rub it in her face
Am sorry" Eva said with a wronged expression as she left them
The lecturer came as the class started
Riley couldn't help feeling sleepy
She sighed learning is really difficult
Lisa looked at the dizzy person beside her
Sleep if you want to sleep" She said
Riley nodded and bent her head to sleep
After the class she woke up in time and dragged Lisa out to the college's cafeteria
Let's have lunch" Riley said
You seem to have forgotten that I don't eat lunch" Lisa said
Oh that true, but i want to eat" She said
As she went to get a meal for hersslf while Lisa scrolled thrighy her phone
Riley quit?" Liam asked as Joel nodded
What was her reason for quiting?" Liam asked
No reason, just wanted to go on a holiday" Joel said
Do you think something happened last night that caused her to quit" Joel asked
Liam looked at the resignation letter typed in his computer
Hello" A male voice sounded as they turned
Am the new intern" He said with a smile
Liam looked at the intern and looked at the Resignation
In all, he thought of a lazy person in his memory
