"You gave me the wrong pier number where the drug exchange was held. The meeting was sucessfully held in another place." Van instantly answered.

The Chief didn't bother to hide his surprise when he heard Van.

"How did you---?" he wasn't able to finish his sentence when Van cuts him off.

"I saw it on the files. I managed to get a hold of the memory card which Mr. Yoshida's past and future drug transacations. I did an undercover surveillance in his office." he continued.

The Chief remained silent for a few minutes or so...Then without a word, he laughed out loud as if he was crazy.

"You really thought that you have won over the old man? I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but you're sadly mistaken." the Chief sneered at him.

Van's brows met in an angry frown.

"And what do you mean by that?"

"Since you're going to die soon, let me tell you the truth about the identity of Seira Yoshida. She's not the "exact-same heiress" that we all know. She's actually your beloved Nao Nishikawa." the old man finally revealed the truth.

Van's face became pale as he heard the shocking truth from him.

"Look at your face, Van! I wish our Big Boss could see you right now. Brace yourself because there's more, so you'd better listen carefully, okay? the Chief leered at him, while tapping his shoulders.

Van just gave him a dirty look.

"This is what really happpened 8 years ago, Van. After the doctor declared Seira Yoshida dead, Nao Nishikawa is was already in a stable condition... Mr. Yoshida arrived at the hospital, and he didn't get the chance to talk to his daughter for the last time. You see, the main reason why the Yoshida family is in Karuizawa that time is because of the construction of their newest hotel..." the Chief started.

"Which killed a lot of people so it's all his fault!" Van spat out.

The Chief gave Van a hard slap on his face.

"Shut up!" he angrily shouted.

Van bit his lip as he felt the sharp pain on his face.

"Now be a good boy and listen carefully. Back at the hospital, I saw Mr. Yoshida grieving over the death of his one and only child. I've never seen him cry like that. He said he couldn't let his daughter go and he will do anything and everything within his power to bring his daughter back. And he was also angry because Nao Nishikawa survived in the end... If that local girl from Okinawa was saved by the doctors, why can't they do something about his own daughter? And at that time,one interesting idea suddenly came into his mind." continued the Chief.

Van held his breath while waiting for the Chief to speak again... He will finally know why Nao is trapped inside Yoshida Seira's body...

"Mr. Yoshida talked to one of the best doctors in the country, and they talked about plastic surgery. He decided to switch Nao and Seira's faces... Well, to make

the story short, the operation was sucessful, and the doctors who were involved in the face surgery were silenced... In the end, Nao Nishikawa is living as Seira Yoshida." the Chief drops the final bomb of truth.

Van's eyes widened in utter shock after he heard the truth.

"That's a mortal sin!" he breathed out.

"You can't blame a father for doing such things for his child."

"You and your boss disgusts me..." Van leered, as he spits on the ground.

"You can hate us all you want, but you can't bring back the time now. And since you

already know too much---I would personally end your life right here. But first, let my friends go ahead and release their stress on you." the Chief finally gave a go-signal to his underlings who were grinning from ear to ear as they get ready to torture Van.

The old man then walked towards the huge gate and walked out from the warehouse.

"See you in hell, Chief." Van whispered.

He felt a sudden pain on his face, after the burly guy punched him. He gritted his teeth to refrain himself from groaning aloud because of the pain.

He felt another blow on his ribs again. And again...

I was pacing back and forth as I worriedly glance at the small clock on Van's desk. It's getting late, and Van have not returned yet. He promised her that he will be back in the office after he explains everything to Reiko, but many hours have already passed. And she's overwhelmed with so much emtions right now.

She almost jumped in surprise when she heard the phone ringing. She noticed a mobile phone blinking on top of Van's work desk.

He must've forgotten to bring his phone with him because he was in a hurry to catch up with Reiko...

I thoughtfully frowned once I saw the caller ID flashed on Van's mobile phone screen.

It was Reiko.

"Hello, Reiko? Are you with Van right now?" I instantly asked as soon as answer the phone.

"I guess I shouldn't call you as Seira... But are you really Nao Nishikawa?" Reiko obviously sounded nervous over the phone.

I took a deep breath before answering Reiko's question.

"Van was right. You heard our conversation awhile ago... Believe it or not, yes, I'm Nao Nishikawa. I'll explain everything to you, but for now let me ask you this--is Van with you right now?"

"I-Isn't he supposed to be with you?" asked Reiko, in a puzzled tone

"What? But he went after you! He wanted the three of us to talk..." I exclaimed.

"But I went home alone..." Reiko replied, and she was getting worried as well.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds to calm myself.

"Reiko, can you come here as soon as you can? We need to find Van. I'm getting worried---and scared." I finally admitted to her.

"I'll be there in 15 minutes. I'll also ask Ren to help us with the search, okay?" Reiko instantly agreed.

"Yes. Thank you, Reiko."

As soon as the call ended, I sat on the nearest chair and waited for Reiko and Ren to arrive...
