Chapter 30: Chapter 30
The rest of the day was spent in the cabin, with Aiden making himself scarce. He came around lunchtime and made food before I could stop him. As the Alpha left for this room again, I noticed that a whole grilled sandwich was resting atop the kitchen counter.
Silently, I picked the plate and ate the sandwich, trying not to smile. My teeth kept chattering at the blinding cold outside, fog tinting the windows and making it impossible to see anything clearly. That meant we had no other means to spend our time but hole up in the cabin all alone.
I could hear the sound of hammering, banging followed by drilling. Aiden must be working on something which I didn't question him. The Alpha always kept to himself anyway.
By the time night rolled in, I had laid there shivering for what feels like forever, the multiple covers and warm jacket barely doing anything. My forehead felt warm to the touch, fingertips numb due to the cold. Aiden must be sleeping in his room with the heater, of course, while I was freezing to death.
A sigh escaped my throat, tears rolling down my eyes. As much as I didn't want to admit defeat, it's the only option I had left. Take help from Aiden so that I could stay safe for the night. Cursing under my breath, I threw the covers off my body, trudging towards the dark oak door grumpily, blankets covering all of my body except my face.
My fingers pruned as I raised to knock on the door, the action causing me to wince. Seconds later, I noticed that the door was slightly ajar. Did he leave it open for me? No. That cannot be it. I'm over thinking again.
Exhaling a sigh, I pushed open the door only to notice Aiden bundled up in the blankets in front of the fire, but he's not sleeping.
At my presence, the Alpha tilted his head, taking the pillow as his support to sit up right. His nose flared as my toes curled around, hands gripping the blanket. My lips were dried, shivering from the impact.
"Moons sake!" Aiden grunted. "Have you forgotten that this is not your room?"
"P-Please", I grind my teeth together, ignoring the venom in his tone. "I cannot sleep in my room anymore. It's too cold."
"And what do you want me to do about it?"
"Let me sleep here for one night"
Something flashed in his eyes before it quickly disappeared, replaced by a blank look on his face. He looked around before stare landing on the heater. I thought that he would propose to take that device along with me. Instead, the Alpha narrowed his eyes at me.
"Consider this a huge favour. You can sleep here but only for today."
Relief flooded in my veins, cheeks blooming with heat at the thought of sniffing the large bed and being surrounded by that musky scent again. I could easily sleep my fever away, climb under those comforting sheets.
"Really? Thank you so much, Alpha!"
I waited for him to get out of the bed; Aiden stayed still, his back still resting against the pillow. What was he waiting for?
"Umm...You can take my room for tonight."
He snickered, "That's funny, but I'm not going anywhere. You can either sleep on this empty side or freeze to death."
I took my bottom lip in between my teeth, eyes falling on his empty side, sheets soft and inviting. Going back to my room may kill me or, worse, give me frostbite. Either of them didn't sound enticing.
With my shoulders slouched, I dragged my feet to the other side of the bed, flopping down next to Aiden.
"Good decision"
Twisting my lips, I spent a couple of minutes rearranging blankets so I was adequately covered. It's cold outside of the little nest of blankets, so I turned over onto my side, facing away from the Alpha, and didn't say another word for the rest of the night.

Waking up, warm and cosy, I let out a soft sigh. The heap of blankets were tangled all around, fire still going hot and bright, the warmth of the flames falling on my face. Something was warm against my back, my hand resting low around my belly, fingers slipped up underneath my shirt. Involuntary, I stilled, his hips rocking up against the swell of my ass gently. I pressed back into it, eyes drifting closed again, safe in the warm little cocoon we have managed to make around.
It's not until the Alpha plastered against my back made a soft noise in the crook of my neck, I stilled in the spot. A shiver racked through my body when I realised what's going on.
"O-Oh, for moon's sake!" I croaked out, my eyes flying open at his touch.
As I tried to struggle against the circle of his arms, trying to get free, and for a minute, it didn't work. Aiden only managed to hold me tighter, thrusting a little bit harder, and somehow his dick ended up pushing between my cheeks, the entire length of him evident even between two layers.
My mouth watered a little at the thought of it, at the idea of Aiden getting his cock inside, holding me down while he made love to me, nice and sweet.
Getting enough air to breathe seemed difficult at that moment. I wasn't even sure that I remembered how to breathe efficiently until Aiden's teeth sank in the back of my neck. The sharp canines made me snap out of daydreams, coming back to harsh reality.
I couldn't help but think back to our first night together and how Aiden seemed repulsed at the thought of our scents mixing. He didn't bother to kiss me, faking the entire knot thing for the sake of the tradition.
"Alpha," I called out to him, a whine falling on my lips as I tried to snap Aiden out of whatever trance he's in.
When he didn't budge, my eyes prickled with tears, suddenly, and it's not even from any of this. It's from how much my omega wanted to be able to roll over and tangle my arms around his neck and let Aiden ease my thighs open again and get up inside.
"Aiden," I said pleadingly this time, and my voice barely echoed around the walls.
His name might have done the deed, kicking the Alpha out of it. He comes to a slow halt, cock still nestled in between the cheeks of my ass and said. Blearily blinking his sleep away, Aiden rolled off of me before I finished saying the words, and it's even more awkward for a minute because the movement got us even more tangled in the blanket.
By the time Aiden manages to get free, his hair sprawled all over his face, mouth opening and closing. The harsh words were coming; I could feel them directing me.
I honestly couldn't stand to look at him anymore.
"We don't have to talk about it," I swallowed, turning over onto my back slowly. As hard as I tried, my omega couldn't ignore the dampness between my legs. Getting on my feet, I managed to dash out of the room.
