Chapter 94: Chapter 94

Slyvester, his father, and Ran were together in the same car. His mother went to the supermarket, so she was ushered by their other drivers, leaving Slyvester and his father alone.

Slyvester’s mom thought she had to give her son and husband some time alone to talk. They MUST.

Ran glanced at them through the front mirror as the father and son kept wordless. Looking at them, he could tell the father and son had a conflict.

"Don't you like Ryan?" Slyvester broke the impending silence.

"I didn't say I didn't like her," his father said before clearing his throat. "I don't like what she did, not the person herself."

"Ryan has already explained what happened and why she was forced to live with us. Everything was just an accident."

"Even so. It's wrong to live with men."

"So, you hated her? You don’t like her for me?"

Instead of answering directly, Mr Hudson led the conversation.

"Make sure no one else knows about this. I don't want word to spread that I'm condoning my only child living in the same house with his girlfriend. She’ll be moving out soon, right? So, the problem will be fixed."

"When the others find out, will you separate us?" Slyvester asked, gritting his teeth.

The father looked at him. "Why? Will you follow? Surely you won't break up."

Slyvester bit his lower lip while looking down. Ran looked at him again with pity. Slyvester has been an obedient child since then. He follows his parents' advice because he knows it's for the best. Even in the course to be taken in college, he fulfilled his father's wishes without hesitation.

He was happy.

He is content with the good life his parents have provided him since then. But as time passed, he felt suffocated in the life designed by others. He did not enjoy studying because he was not interested in business management. But he's enduring it. He's taking everything just to be a good son.

"Brother Ran, please pull out the car on the side. I'll just take a taxi back to the boarding house," Slyvester begged.

"Yes?" Ran asked.

“Just… please, stop the car.”

Ran looked at Slyvster’s father, and Mr Hudson did not say a thing as if allowing Slyvester to go.

With that, Ran turned the steering wheel and stopped near the unloading signage.

"Take care on your way home," said Slyvester to his father without even being able to look him in the eyes. He got out of the car and gently closed the door.

When the father's car drove away, Slyvester sighed. Now he can breathe at ease.

Slyvester considers himself lucky to be the son of a famous and wealthy family, but sometimes the attention and scrutiny that come with it can limit his enjoyment of life.

He sighed and washed his face with his hand, frustrated with the judgment and gossip surrounding his family.

"I hope Ryan's parents aren't too upset," he thought, wondering how they would react to the news.

He reached into his pocket for his cell phone but couldn't find it. Even his wallet in his back pocket was missing.

"I must have left it in Dad's car," he remembered, scanning the broad road for any sign of the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was nowhere in sight. It seemed like luck wasn't on his side today.

"H-How do I get home?" he worries. For every concern, there is an answer from heaven. And what was given to him this time was Chaylen.

"Hey! Why are you there? I thought you and Ryan’s parents were going to meet?" Chaylen asked after parking the car in front of him.

When Slyvester saw Chaylen, there was a halo around him.

" Chaylen! Right timing! I left my wallet and cellphone behind. You’re an angel sent from heaven!"

"I've known for a long time that my beauty is angelic. Anyway, why are you alone?"

"The parent's meeting is over. Ryan is with his parents now," Slyvester said as he opened the door for the passenger's seat. "Great! Let’s go back home together!"

"Okie," Chaylen agreed. "You came at the right time because I want to ask you something."

"To me?" Slyvester asked as he buckled his seatbelt.

"Yes. About the incident where you and Ryan left me when the dog chased you."

The smile on Slyvester’s face has faded.

Chaylen’s POV

"Uwaaaaaaaaahhhh!"

Even inside the car, I could hear Slyvester vomiting. Why would he not when I drove the car like a maniac?

I did the right thing, and I have no regrets.

He and Ryan left me alone while the dog was chasing them. They need to be punished!

"You f*cking b*stard, freaking *sshole, godd*m sh*t!" Slyvester cursed at me as he managed to get back into the car.

"Does Ryan know that you swear like that? It will turn her off," I teased while stepping on the accelerator.

"Ryan is rougher than me," Slyvester defended. "Anyway, can I borrow your cp? I left mine behind."

"I'm out of battery."

"You can charge the car."

"My connector is broken." I made a U-Turn. When I got to the other side, I gasped at the traffic jam. "FUXK, the traffic."

" Chaylen, you really have a foul mouth," commented the hypocrite.

"You don’t have the right to tell me that, “MR, I am innocent, but I put my hand inside my girlfriend’s shirt”.

To tease him, I put one hand inside my shirt, and Slyvester seemed to get what I meant.

"H-Hey! I s-said nothing else happened to us! Just a kiss!" he defended. He even pointed out the way to escape. "What are you doing?! The car in front of us moved forward! Go and drive!"

I drove the car with one hand. "You said it was just a kiss, but your hand went inside her shirt. Pervert~"

"Don't put me on the same page as yours! My intentions are pure."

"You mean, it is a clean attempted sex?"

"You're stupid, Chaylen. Shut up."

"Don't worry. You're not the only one who likes that. Women also enjoy skinship."

Slyvester shook his head while looking out the window.

"Anyway, have you ever given Ryan a present?" I asked.

"Gift?" I saw him looking left and right as if recalling the past.

"Don't tell me you haven't given her anything as a gift since you guys became a couple?”

I read the answer through his guilty expression.

"Damn, man. Why don't you know anything about these things? Or are you dense? Girls love gifts."

'Of course, I was just fooling around.'

"You mean I have to give her a present occasionally?" And he bit the bait.

"Of course! Women nowadays have different inclinations. They love it when you surprise them with a gift."

The idiot nodded his head.

"Take me to the mall for a while. I'll buy her socks. I noticed a while ago that her socks have holes in them."

"Wait, wait. Please don't say you'll buy socks and then go in front of her and say: Surprise! I bought you socks because your socks have holes in them!"

"Isn't that sweet?" Slyvester asked with a blink.

"Dude, no! That is too foolish. You know what? I'll take care of it. I know a gift that people I dated really liked. Trust me."

'Yes. You must trust me, and let’s go to hell together.’
