Chapter 93: Chapter 93

["I heard you were rejected~"]

Gizelle's friend on the other line was mocking her for being rejected. Gizelle scoffed as she responded, "Who cares? I don't have feelings for him! He's not my type either!"

["If that is true, then why are you going to Slyvester's boarding house?"]

Gizelle stopped before the boarding house, confused about why she was there. "Well, I caused a scene when I called him 'honey' and 'babe.' But it doesn't feel like enough. So, I came back. That's the only reason."

Her friend asked, ["Why do you want revenge?"]

Gizelle replied, "Because he treated me like a rag during our blind date."

Her friend then advised, ["Don't give me a damn, girl. I won't be your friend if I don't know who you are. You are the type who fell in love with men who were rude to you."

Gizelle's eyes widened. "W-What the f*ck are you saying?"

Gizelle's beauty made it easy for her to attract men, but when she encountered someone who didn't seem interested, she felt her pride crumble. Despite that, Gizelle slowly fell in love with someone who treated her rudely. However, she wasn't aware of her quirks regarding liking someone.

["Don't worry, Gizelle. Just change and find someone who loves you for who you are, not just your looks. They'll accept you, even when it's hard to talk about things,"] the voice on the phone reassured her.

"Shut up!" Gizelle shouted in response, hanging up the phone. She was frustrated and couldn't believe she had gone to the boarding house to pursue Sylvester, who didn't seem to reciprocate her feelings.

So, she turned and started walking away. But later, she caught himself going back to the front door.

'My friend is wrong. I will prove her wrong,' she told herself. As she was about to knock on the door, it opened on its own.

Vincent stopped when he saw a woman in front of him. Gizelle often hides her true colours in front of others, so she pretends to be nice. However, she does not intend to act because she immediately recognises Vincent!

'He's the rude one at the festival,' she recognised inwardly.

Recalling that, Gizelle felt the fury come alive. She opened her mouth to talk to Vincent. However, the man, who has zero interest in her, turned away and walked forward as if he did not see a person or a thing. And he remembered to lock the door before going away.

'T-That...!'

Gizelle glared at Vincent before calling him, "Hey!"

Vincent stopped walking and then turned around. "What?" he answered impolitely.

"Slyvester lives here, doesn't he? Where is he?"

"It's not my job to tell my friend's information to someone I don't know. If you need anything from Slyvester, call him," said Vincent, who was staring at her with a nonchalant expression.

"I-I... I'm the..." Gizelle thought about the prank at the festival. And she tried to use it. "I'm his girlfriend. Haven't you heard?"

A smile slowly crept onto Vincent's lips. After a while, he laughed sarcastically. Gizelle thought this was a good sign, but only when...

"What a bullsh*t," Vincent chuckled as he shook his head. He put on headphones and walked away.

"Huh! What the hell," Gizelle scoffed, biting her lip as he looked at the handsome but rude guy who seemed to be her… ideal type.

One afternoon, while Kyle was riding his bike home from the boarding house, he saw a woman with bright purple hair. It's Emily, Ryan's best friend.

"Is that Emily?" Kyle asked himself while narrowing his eyes at Emily. He stepped on the pedal and drove near Emily to ensure he guessed it right.

Emily was wearing headphones. She was listening to her favourite K-pop song from the idol Korean group Seventeen. Her music was so loud that she didn't notice Kyle riding a bike beside her.

"Aju, nice! Bam bam bam bam bam!" Emily sang while dancing.

Kyle had no plans to spy on her. But somehow, he was getting entertained by it.

"Nice!" During the closing dance, Emily punched the air. She turned around like a crazy girl, and that's how she saw Kyle. "Oh!" She almost tripped because of the shock.

"Oh? Be careful!" Kyle's concern. He stopped riding his bike and was going to chase Emily. The girl was so flexible that she was able to stand up straight.

"Kyle!" Emily called him with shining eyes. "Hello. Are you going home to the boarding house?"

"Hmm," Kyle nodded. Kyle is naturally kind to everyone. But because Emily is Ryan's friend, he feels more comfortable with her. "You? Are you going home?"

"Yes, sir." The girl said with a salute.

Kyle chuckled at her cute gestures.

"Want to ride the bike? I'll take you home," Kyle offered.

"Omg!" Emily gasped. He covered his mouth. "Will you let me hug you from behind? You want me to wrap my hands around your waist?"

Kyle's smile subsided. His face gradually reddened, reaching up to his ears.

"That would be so romantic!" Emily showed a fake sob. "Of course, I won't refuse that. I'll take this opportunity to hug a handsome guy like you." Emily was about to get on board, but Kyle hurried to put his foot on the pedal.

"I-I remembered that I-I have something important to do. A-Alright. N-Next time." Kyle stomped away from Emily. He is so damn worried that Ryan's friend has a crush on him!

But is that the truth? Does Emily like him?

"What a cutie," Emily murmured.

An acquaintance of Emily passed by and saw her in the distance.

"Hey, Arjen! You're so cute today too! Can you be mine!" shouted Emily.

Emily likes handsome men. Because of her passion for Korean idols, her standard among men has increased. But that doesn't mean she can like a guy just because of his appearance because people like her have no intention of getting married. She dreams of visiting Korea and seeing her idol before settling down. That will probably happen after... after...? It just is. Soon.

As Chaylen was driving, a dog suddenly appeared in front of his car, blocking the road.

"Oh no!" he exclaimed as he hit the brakes. In the sudden stop, he accidentally shot his forehead on the steering wheel. "Ouch," he muttered under his breath.

He looked at the dog before him, who didn't want to move even after he honked his horn. Since it was a quiet road with little traffic, Chaylen decided to get out of his car and see what was happening.

"Hey there, little guy. What are you doing here? You shouldn't be wandering on the road like this. It's dangerous," he said, concerned for the dog's safety. Although he loved pets, he didn't have the time to care for one.

The dog barked at him, wagging its tail and sticking out its tongue. It seemed to like Chaylen, which made him smile.

"Oh? He likes me," Chaylen noticed. "Gosh. Do even dogs fall in love with my face?"

"My dog is a boy," answered the woman who suddenly appeared.

Chaylen lowered his hand and looked at the beautiful woman familiar to him. 'Where did I see her?'

"I'm sorry. I'll get rid of Recca right away," the woman apologised. She pulled Recca's collar out of the way. When their eyes met again, the woman also recognised Chaylen. "Oh? You're the guy from before, aren't you?"

'Did I sleep with her before?' Chaylen worried.

"The drunk man who fell asleep on the road. Then Recca went to you and licked you in the face."

Chaylen's eyes widened. He doesn't remember being kissed by a dog while he was sleeping! This is a weird parody of Snow White, he thought.

"W-When did that happen?" Chaylen asked in disbelief.

"Ah, I don't remember much. But you were with a boy and a girl. The cute girl's name was Ryan."

That's it. Chaylen remembers when it happened. However, he has yet to hear about this from Slyvester and Ryan. 'The dog kissed me? Why didn't they tell me this?!'

Chaylen looked at the woman and continued trembling, "Tell me everything that happened."

As Terban stepped into the company elevator, he couldn't help but notice the stares from his colleagues. The recent incident in the meeting was still fresh in everyone's mind, and the scandal surrounding it showed no signs of dying down. It was understandable since Terban had accidentally played an adult video in front of the company's board of directors, causing considerable embarrassment. Despite feeling ashamed, Terban had to continue working and had no choice but to ride the elevator to his office.

"I forgot something in the car," Terban mumbled, glancing at his watch. He quickly exited the elevator before the doors closed.

Although Terban and Slyvester had reconciled, the anger over the USB incident still lingered within him. This led him to join in on the bullying of poor Slyvester by others.

"F*ck. Should I stop working first?" Terban sighed.

"Huh? Who? The president's handsome son?" Terban heard what the woman who stood next to him said. She is talking to someone on her cellphone.

'She's the employee at the information desk. 'The one who said I fought with my boyfriend,' Terban deduced.

"What? I don't have a crush on Sir Terban anymore," the woman continued.

Terban frowned. He was used to being the centre of attraction because of his looks. But he was terrified when he heard it directly.

"Just. I have a reason why. Anyway, I'll see you later." The woman put down the cell phone and waited for the elevator to open. "How can I like Sir Terban when he likes men? Geez," she whispered.

Terban's mouth opened.

The elevator opened. The woman entered, and her eyes finally went to the man beside her earlier. "OMG!" she gasped.

Terban was just dumbfounded, gaping at her with a reddened face.

"Y-You... What did you..." he stuttered.

The woman quickly pressed the door's button. Fortunately, it closed before he could hear Terban's rough voice.

Kyle, Vincent, Terban, and Chaylen do like the same girl. And it will be long before they lose their feelings for Ryan. But soon, they will meet the right person. 'Not today, tomorrow, the next day or the next few years, just soon. SOON.
