Chapter 84: Chapter 84

The rambling incident at the boarding house spread throughout the school. The other students even called the authorities for help, thinking that a massacre was about to happen. Fortunately, they had Kyle with them, who fixed the big scandal. Kyle apologized to their neighbours. He also apologized to the school management, who complained about the incident.

Days passed by. Since that night, Terban has yet to return home from the boarding house, as he was fixing the mistake he made at work. Even though he continues to attend school, he doesn’t cross paths with Ryan.

He’s avoiding her on purpose. With that, it was peaceful in the boarding house.

" Ryan, open the door! Come on!" Slyvester knocked on her room. Ryan quickly opened the door for her boyfriend. As it opened, Slyvester promptly went in.

"W-Why? Why did you come in suddenly? Are you crazy?" Ryan complained.

After locking the door, Slyvester came forward with a smile. "The coast is clear. No one saw me enter," he said.

Ryan and Slyvester are happy as new lovers. They spent time together as much as possible before Ryan moved onto a different boarding house. It's hard for them to find time to caress because of the three villains.

"Even so," Ryan sighed. "It's still wrong for you to enter a woman’s room."

" Ryan, can you just let me in?" Slyvester pouted like a kid. "There is no safer place for us to meet than your room.”

That's true. Kyle, Vincent, and Chaylen are on alert whenever the two get close. Slyvester and Ryan live in the same house but cannot touch even each other's hair. Once, Slyvester just tried to drink from Ryan’s glass. But when he was about to do it, Vincent slammed the glass and wet Slyvester’s face.

One day, Slyvester will sit beside Ryan on the sofa. When he was close, a ball suddenly hit his head. Kyle hit him on purpose.

Of course, they can't date appropriately at home. But is there also a villain outside? Chaylen will suddenly appear and play like the third wheel whenever they are together in school.

Ryan has already asked the three to stop bullying Slyvester, but the devils know no mercy. That may be why Ryan agreed to let Slyvester stay in her room for a few minutes.

"What a poor guy," Ryan said as she opened her arms.

Slyvester immediately filled the space in front of her. He hugged her tightly until she stumbled on her bed.

"Hey, wait!" Ryan chuckled. He sat on the bed while Slyvester hugged her.

"She. Don't be loud. Those crazy bastards will hear us," whispered Slyvester. He tightly cuddled Ryan until they were utterly lying on the bed.

"...!" Ryan’s eyes widened. 'Something is not right!' she worried. He was lying on the bed, and Slyvester was on top? Isn't their position now dangerous?

'But Slyvester is a good man. I shouldn't worry,' Ryan reassured herself.

"I miss you," Slyvester mumbled, hugging her while lying on top of her. He closed his eyes and inhaled the girl's sweet scent.

Ryan thought she couldn't be a charming girlfriend. Every time she saw a couple hugging on the road, she felt disgusted. She thought it was too cheesy! But when you're in a relationship and love that person, being sweet comes second to none.

"Why did you miss me? We just saw each other this morning," Ryan laughed. She hugged Slyvester back and stroked his soft hair.

"You think I enjoyed myself this morning? FOUR FEET STEPPED ON ME when I tried to tap your foot under the table!" Slyvester complained.

Ryan frowned. "Really? They did that?"

"Yes!" Slyvester forged a sob.

Ryan thought about Slyvester’s complaint. If four people stepped on him, that's weird.

"But there are only three of them. Kyle, Vincent, and Chaylen. How can there be four legs?"

"Hmmm," Slyvester also wondered. " Ryan, didn't you step on me too?" he suspected.

"Huh?!" Ryan cupped his face and let him look at her. "Why would I do that? I won't hurt my baby."

Slyvester smiled in excitement. Then an idea came to him. His smile vanished at the thought of the answer. "I knew it!" he gasped. "Someone from the three stepped on me with both feet."

The only person who could do that was the man sitting across from him. And that's...

" Vincent," Slyvester said while gritting his teeth. If Slyvester is Cinderella, Vincent is the stepmother—the main villain.

"Well, if it's Vincent, I wouldn't be surprised." Ryan nodded.

Slyvester continued to frown. "Hey."

"Hmmm?"

"Why do you seem to accept what they do to me? That's unfair."

"What can I do?" Ryan protested. "I've talked to them to stop bullying you. But they're being mean."

"Tsk," Slyvester rolled his eyes after clicking his tongue.

"I'm moving out of this boarding house soon. Don't worry. I'll tell you where I'm moving."

The dark cloud in Slyvester's head disappeared, and his complexion brightened. "Really?"

"Hmmm." Ryan nodded politely in response.

"T-Then we can spend the time longer?"

"Ahuh," Ryan chuckled.

"Yey!" With great joy, Slyvester pecked on her lips.

After sharing a kiss, the couple froze momentarily. Although it wasn't their first kiss as a couple, something about their position and the atmosphere made it feel unusual. They both felt a temptation to take things further, so Ryan gently pushed Sylvester away before things got too heated.

Slyvester lay down next to her. He coughed while looking at the ceiling. Both blushed while remaining silent.

"W-How's school going?" Ryan cleverly changed the subject.

"I-It's okay. A little busy. You?" answered Slyvester while taking a deep breath. He has urges to restrain.

"Busy with the thesis and reports. Do you have a hard time?"

"Hmmmm," Slyvester let out a long pause. "That's right. I'm not excited to study. I was just forced to choose the business management course."

That's new for Ryan. He glanced at Slyvester’s side profile and asked, "What do you want?"

"Culinary. I want to be a chef and build my restaurant," the young man said with a smile. Ryan could see his eyes shining as he looked afar.

"But I don't see you cooking," Ryan said what she observed.

"I avoided cooking. Really, I feel worse when I remember that I won't be able to fulfil my dream."

"It's not too late."

Slyvester tilted his head to her.

Ryan turned her body and then slumped on the bed. "If you want to make your dream come true, it's not too late. You can start again."

'Impossible,' Slyvester thought. He knew Ryan’s suggestion was impossible. But just hearing it from her was a big help. Slyvester was so touched that he couldn't help but fall for her even more. Some lovers got tired of each other as time went on. But in Slyvester’s case, he loves Ryan even more as he gets to know her better.

" Ryan."

"Hmmm?"

"I love you."

Slyvester rose a little. He reached for Ryan’s neck and pulled her closer. In an instant, Ryan was lying on his top while Slyvester was kissing her lips.
