Terban's POV

Swelling eyes, bruised cheeks, and bleeding lips. I sighed as I looked at myself in front of the mirror. I can't continue the presentation at the meeting later when I look like this.

Well, it's my fault. I did stupid things, so I need to face the punishment.

After washing my face and putting a band-aid on the affected area, I changed my clothes. Even though my brain is messed up because of what happened, I must put work first. Then after this, I will take care of myself.

Standing in front of the meeting hall, I took several deep breaths. I tried to have a perfect image in the company. Although many people criticize me, at least I worked well. That's why I'm nervous to show how messy I am right now.

"Sir Terban, did you fall in the elevator?" the employee handed me the ballpoint pen. If I'm correct, she's assigned to the information desk.

"Thank you. But I won't use it. I don't know how many bacteria it has," I said.

The employee stared at my face and then put down the ballpoint pen. She looked sideways, whispering, "Maybe he and his boyfriend fought, so Sir is in a bad mood."

Her appalling comment did not escape my ears. 'B-Boyfriend? Did I hear right? BOYFRIEND?!'

I was about to curse at her, but the door to the meeting hall opened. The fool walked away, so I didn't say anything.

'What the hell is that?'

There was a murmur when I entered. Somehow, I can't look straight at my father sitting back at the center. "You're late," said Dad.

I answered without looking, "I'm sorry. I had emergencies."

"It doesn't matter. Since you made everyone wait, it's better if you start the presentation."

Dad is a good father. Even though he experienced severe heartbreak because of Mom, he tried to be strong in front of me. He was sweet to his son, who changed a lot. But when it's work time, he is the boss. He trained me to be responsible and gave me a position in the company early. So, I am so embarrassed right now.

'It's okay. My presentation will be damn perfect,' I calmed myself down.

I handed the assistant the USB to be used in the presentation. The surroundings darkened, and the projector turned on. Then I started:

"About the project at Ixumi Corporation, I will show you the plan, including its budget." I signaled the assistant to open the folder outside. The folder name is Special Project.

"So," I continued but paused because of the strange reaction of those in the meeting hall. Their bewildered eyes focused on the screen as if they saw something horrible.

'Is my planning layout too surprising?'

Wondering about this, I looked behind. "What the fuck," I said while staring at the various elicit videos on the screen.

'Why are there videos like these on my USB?!'

My jaw dropped.

"Terban! What is this?!" Dad shouted.

Everything flashes back to me. When Ryan and Slyvester arrived, they both gave me a USB. Then I put them inside my pocket. Which means...

I looked at the red USB plug plugged into the laptop. It has a Spiderman pattern on it. The strange thing is, even though the USB is not mine, the name of my presentation is the same as the folder name!

"S-Sorry!" I apologize. "I made a mistake!" I hurried to the front of the laptop to take out the files. But because I was f*cking nervous, I accidentally played another video.

"Ahhh ahhh ahhh...!" A loud moans echoed around the meeting hall. "Do it faster and dee..."

Shaking, I pulled out the USB. Slowly, I met my father's eyes. Even though it was dark, I could see his blushing face.

Third Person's POV

Slyvester thought everything would be okay if he got Ryan to confess. But in this world, many live in delusion.

Kyle ignored him all night. He still pretends that he cannot hear them. When Slyvester approaches Chaylen, he covers his ears.

"La la la la la la!" Chaylen chanted while covering his ears. He was like a child running away.

As for Vincent, Slyvester couldn't get close because he felt he would hit him with the guitar he was holding.

Slyvester could understand the three men. Who wouldn't be hurt when the girl they love is finally in a relationship? Worst, Slyvester is their friend. Moreover, they live under the same roof.

Slyvester might do something even more severe if he puts himself in their shoes.

So, he doesn't have any choice. All he can do is wait until everything is okay. He hopes so~

The clock strikes midnight. Slyvester felt thirsty, so he forced himself to get up and head to the kitchen, wishing to quench his drying throat. But as he stepped into the kitchen's entrance, he saw Vincent.

There are many papers scattered on the table. Vincent has a pencil in his hand. He writes carefully on the paper with a serious expression on his face.

Since Slyvester and Vincent have been together for a long time, they already know each other's habits. When you see Vincent writing quietly, he's probably composing a song or working on lyrics. And he does it every time he feels very emotional.

Slyvester sighed as he watched his friend. Vincent speaks frankly but doesn't know how to express his feelings. It was as if he had to collect everything before finally exploding. So, when he fought, he knew that Vincent did it because he could not contain his displeasure anymore.

This is the first time that Vincent falls in love with a woman.

'So, I'm also sad that the first girl he liked ended up being Ryan,' Slyvester blamed inwardly. But even though he feels guilty, he has no plans to give up on Ryan.

Slyvester approached him quietly. He stood behind Vincent and peered at his writing on the paper.

Slyvester stared at the notes. All the guilt he felt for Vincent disappeared!

"DO YOU HAVE THE PLAN TO KILL ME?" Slyvester shouted behind him.

Vincent is aware that there is someone behind them. So, he calmly replied, "Oh my. My plan was busted."

Goosebumps appeared on Slyvester's skin. Vincent pored at him and smirked.

When it comes to being grumpy, Terban tops the list. If it's silly, Chaylen should take the rank one. But when it comes to being so cunning, then Vincent will take the crown. Vincent is one of those ardent guy who has yet to make plans to back down quickly.

"Do you think I'll stop?" Vincent smiled. "As long as you are not married, I will be the great villain of your life." An evil grin spread on his lips.

"Y-You...!" Slyvester gasped in disbelief as he pointed at his friend.

Vincent stood up. He picked up the papers and walked away.

Slyvester was about to follow him but saw a paper left behind. When he picked it up, he accidentally read the content.

[But I'm glad that Slyvester moved on from Nikki. I'm so happy his painful past has healed.]

Slyvester smiled at the notes he had read.

"Why are you reading that? You bastard," said Vincent, who suddenly returned to snatch the paper he was holding.

Slyvester looked at him like a puppy. "Vincent~" He called softly.

Before Slyvester could hug him, Vincent walked away.

"Vincent! Wait!"

"Get lost."

They were about to go up the stairs when the boarding house door opened. A man came in and yelled, "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?!"

The neighbor's lights came on. Sleeping birds fluttered over the roof. And those who were sleeping soundly in their rooms opened their eyes.

The sleepy Chaylen, Kyle, and Ryan went out of their bedroom. They looked at each other before going down the stairs together.

"What's happening?" Kyle asked.

Vincent and Slyvester looked at the man near the entrance as their answer.

"What's the problem? Terban?" Chaylen asked while yawning. He put his hand in his t-shirt and scratched his stomach.

On the other hand, Ryan remembered what had happened to them, so she was anxious. She even thought that there might be another round between Slyvester and Terban. So, she quickly stood next to Slyvester, just in case.

In Terban's countenance, he looks like a green monster, like a handsome Hulk. A vein came out of the top of his head while staring evilly at the five.

"Who," he gasped.

The five silently waited for what he had to say.

"WHO THE F*CK GAVE ME A USB WITH A SPIDERMAN DESIGN ON IT?"

Kyle and Slyvester were stunned. Chaylen frowned because the said USB was familiar to him. Vincent couldn't help but grin. But the culprit, Ryan, had no idea what had happened.

'I brought the USB,' Ryan said to herself.

"WHO BROUGHT IT?!" Terban shouted.

If Terban finds out that Ryan brought it, his anger will subside. But Slyvester doesn't want to bet on his girlfriend's life. Therefore, he committed the crime.

"I!" Slyvester answered. "I brought it. Don't you need that for your work?"

The man looked at Slyvester, ready to take his life. Ryan wanted to tell the truth, but she froze and was swallowed by Terban's presence.

Vincent was already suspicious of what would happen next, so he retreated a little. Chaylen, the owner of the USB, looked at Kyle.

[Why?] Chaylen mouthed to Kyle.

Kyle approached Chaylen and then whispered what might have happened. "Terban left the USB. They gave him your USB, and probably, that's what Terban used in his meeting earlier."

Chaylen blinked swiftly. He tightly covered his mouth as he was about to burst out laughing. Because if he laughs, Terban will probably kill him too.

"It's you… It's you..." Terban laughed evilly, a kind of laugh that could raise all hair on Ryan's skin. "Then, I KILL YOUUUUUUUUU!"

When neighbors heard the scream, they called the authorities for help.

Terban dashed forward Slyvester and grabbed his neck. "I'm going to kill you!"

"H-Hey!" Ryan shouted.

Kyle hurried to separate the two. "Wait, wait!"

Vincent was smiling on the side. 'That's right. Kill him. Once Slyvester is gone, the plan will be easier,' he reassured inwardly.

"H-Help! Vincent! He...ack!" Slyvester yelled for help.

Slyvester lay on the floor while the raging monster lay beside him. "You f*cking bastard! Die! Die!" Terban chanted while pulling his hair.

Chaylen couldn't stand it anymore. He held his stomach and laughed loudly. "Pfft!"

"Chaylen! Help us!" Ryan begged as she intervened between the two.

But Chaylen needs to gain his strength. He was lying on the floor, laughing and still crying.

"Vincent!" Ryan called Vincent. But Vincent smiled at him as if saying: Why would I?

Slyvester and Terban's ramble had a round two, indeed. And there will be more rounds coming, feat. Vincent, Chaylen, and Kyle.
