Chapter 70: Chapter 70
Why did Giselle visit Slyvester’s University?
She came there to regain her pride. Giselle would never forget the day Slyvester left her alone during their date.
‘I spoke kindly to him, even complimented him. And then, he left me alone?!’
[“I am sorry, Miss Giselle. I don’t have a girlfriend, but I like someone else. I only came here to meet you because my parents begged me to, saying that it was for business. Sure, I’m handsome and you probably fell or me because of my looks. But I hope you understand that I am not available. Sorry. I’ll go now. And don’t worry, I’ll tell our parents. Bye.”]
Giselle was ready to marry Slyvester if their parents would like to. However, that was on te pretext that Slyvester was damn rich. If they end up together, it will help both of their corporations. She was so annoyed that Slyvester misunderstood her approach and thought that she fell for him at first side.
“I was only trying to win his side. Bullsh*t,” Giselle murmured. “And I could not believe that he left me for that woman. Looking at her closely, she’s far from my level. I am prettier.”
After mumbling to herself, Giselle looked around and saw a guy wearing an apron while cooking pancake.
“He looks pathetic,” she whispered before approaching the guy.
While walking towards Sylvester, she noticed the other man standing next to him. He was tall and handsome.
‘Wasn’t he the man I saw in the restaurant? Slyvester’s competitor for that ugly woman. Huh!’
Giselle could not understand why handsome men like them were so into Ryan.
She thought they were insane.
Giselle stood in front of the stand. People were looking at her, including Slyvester’s classmate in the stand. It was then, Giselle opened her mouth and shouted, “Slyvester! Honey!”
She made sure everyone would hear her, and Giselle succeeded.
Slowly, Slyvester and Terban looked back at her.
“G-Giselle?” Slyvester asked, his eyes were wide open.
“Babe. You look so cute in that apron,” Giselle praised lovely.
Murmurs buzzed around. And yes, Giselle planned it this way – to engage Slyvester with a rumor. With this, he and Ryan would fight, and Giselle’s revenge would succeed!
“Dude! You have a girlfriend?! Why didn’t you tell so?” Slyvester’s friends asked. They went to Slyvester, linking their arms as they both looked at Giselle.
“Your girlfriend is so pretty. Hi, miss! I am Slyvester’s classmate.”
“Why did you keep this from us, you bastard?”
“Go and introduce us~”
Slyvester could not speak. He placed the pitcher down and took off his apron. He went out of the stand and pulled Giselle far from the crowd.
The sky was already dark.
Slyvester brought Giselled to a secluded place. Giselle noticed that he kept on scratching his nape, perhaps, because he was getting annoyed.
“There are a lot of mosquitoes today,” he, however, complained.
Giselle really thought that he was acting that way because he was irritated. He was really an unpredictable man.
“Miss Giselle, can you tell what is this all about?”
Giselle fixed her hair, flipping it as she gave his response.
“I attended the school festival. What’s wrong with that?”
“No, I mean about what you did before. Why did you act like my lover? Didn’t I explain it to you that I am liking someone already?”
Giselle laughed sarcastically. She washed the smile on her lips and said, “Bastard. Did you really think that I like you? You’re not my type.”
Slyvester’s spirit barely stayed in his body. He was so shocked to see the true colors hiding behind her pretty face.
“I came here to get revenge. It infuriated me that you thought I was rejected when I was not,” Giselle uttered.
Reeled at her remark, Slyvester blinked swiftly. He shut his mouth and scratched his shoulder.
“You speak so rude,” he said.
“I promised Mom to treat you well. But you were rude to me, Mr. Slyvester. You humiliated me, so I’ll sh*t you out. F*cking assh*le.”
“Your words and your face don’t match, Miss.”
“I know. You don’t need to tell that to me. Anyway, I’ll tell my parents what happened on our blind date. Let’s pretend that we didn’t see each other. Is that clear?”
Slyvester nodded his head.
“Sure. But I am curious. You said that you are going to take revenge. What kind of revenge was that?”
Giselle grinned as she answered, “I saw that woman. The lady you chased after leaving me alone in the restaurant.”
“You met with Ryan?!”
“Yes. And I could tell that you like that b*tch. I created the issue that you have a girlfriend. With your looks and personality, I bet you’re famous in school. If the issue spreads, It will be difficult for you to date that b*tch. People have this prejudice that even if you are telling the truth, in their eyes, that woman will be the third party.”
Seconds passed.
Slyvester processed her plans and after he did, his eyes went round.
“You…!”
He couldn’t continue what he was saying because two men grabbed both of his arms and dragged him away.
“Slyvester! We were looking for you!”
Slyvester asked, “Me? Why? Are you going to buy pancakes?”
“There’s no time. Just follow us!” And they pulled him away.
“Wait! I am still not finished dealing with the witch!” Slyvester shouted as he was dragged.
The witch, Giselle, laughed like a villain while watching him.
“Finally. I regained my pride,” she said, turning around and bumping onto someone.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a guy who was much taller than her. The guy was carrying a guitar behind his back, and he’s really handsome.
‘This school has a lot of handsome students,’ Giselle told herself while looking at his face.
“I am sorry,” he said using his sweet voice, “sorry that you were not looking where you walk, idiot.”
The man, Vincent, only smiled at her sarcastically and left.
“That sh*t,” Giselle mumbled while following Vincent’s track.

“What do you want from me?” Slyvester asked the two men who dragged him alone. He recalled seeing them at Kyle’s club.
“One of the contestants from the Business department backed out. We tried to get Terban, but he refused. You and he were the only people we could think of.”
Slyvester heard that there will be a contest at tonight’s festival. To make it unique, beautiful ladies won’t compete, but instead, they will have handsome men compete each other.
There’s no problem if they reached out to Slyvester to get him. But…
“Why did you ask Terban first? Is he more handsome than me?!” Slyvester complained.
“Of c-course, you were handsome. You just need to shut your mouth,” they coaxed.
“We don’t like to get Terban either!” the other one said. “When we asked him to come, that annoying guy threatened us that he would spray us a boiling frying oil if we won’t stop asking him! He was irritating!”
“Well, Terban will be Terban. Just be thankful that he didn’t kill you,” Slyvester agreed, nodding his head. “So, what should I do?”
“It’s easy, dude. You just need to introduce yourself and show your talent. You can sing, right?”
“Is there a prize?” Slyvester asked.
“Of course! So, do your best.” He tapped Slyvester’s shoulder. “Oh, right!” He saw someone behind him. “Kyle, explain everything to Slyvester.”
When Slyvester turned around, he saw Kyle.
“You guys are competitors tonight. But please explain him the rules, okay?”
The men tapped Kyle and they left them alone.
Slyvester and Kyle quietly looked at each other.
“I didn’t know that you join this contest,” Slyvester spoke first. “They took me here because someone backed out.”
“Hmmm,” Kyle mumbled. He walked past Slyvester but stopped beside him. “I will win against you, Slyvester,” he whispered. “Both in contest and Ryan.”
Kyle walked away after awakening the competitiveness Slyvester had in him.
