There was a miracle when the five men sat around a table for breakfast.

It was a very rare occasion since they are so different from each other.

“After decades, we will have breakfast together. I feel so damn touched, guys,” Chaylen gave excessive praise as he hugged himself. He’s a great flirt.

“Yey!” Sylvester joined Chaylen.

Kyle stared at the two childish men. “There are times I feel second-hand embarrassment just by looking at the two of you. Count one today,” he commented before he massaged his aching temples.

Vincent supported Kyle’s idea. “Handling just one Sylvester was a pain in the ass. What’s more when an annoying like Chaylen was added to the group.”

Diverting his eyes to Terban, Vincent crossed his arms and lifted his chin.

“But you’re still the number one bastard,” Vincent added while staring at Terban.

“I am trying to stay quiet here,” Terban rebuked and glared. “I am not in the mood to throw curses at you, so shut up.”

“Sylvester, it’s time to choose a side,” Chaylen demanded. “Which side are you on? Team Terban? Or Team Vincent?”

Chaylen’s voice sounds like he was enjoying seeing the feud between Terban and Vincent.

“I am Teal Sylvester!” Slyvester said, raising both of his hands. It was a good answer.

The most normal one, Kyle, shoved his face into his palm. He shook his head with a sigh.

“Why am I stuck with these people?” Kyle whispered.

He couldn’t believe that he had to live in the same house with chaotic men like them.

“Then I am team Chaylen! Chaylen! Chaylen!” Chaylen cheered for himself.

“Can you all shut up and stop being so noisy early in the morning?” Terban complained.

Chaylen and Sylvester looked at each other. Then, they shouted louder to annoy Slyvester more.

They look drunk. But what are the reasons why Sylvester was so happy, Chaylen looks crazy, Vincent was moody, Terban was sensitive, and Kyle was problematic?

There’s only one answer.

Because yesterday, they all confessed to Ryan.

Speaking of Ryan, the leading lady of this crazy reverse harem game inside the boarding house, was on her way down the staircase. She stopped at the last step and peeked into the dining room.

‘They are all together!’ She gasped inwardly.

She felt uneasy.

Ryan did not give any of them an answer. Now, Ryan has no idea how to face the truth. She wanted to avoid any of them as much as possible.

But how can she avoid those five pairs of eyes?!

She looked at the door. Ryan wished she had the superpower to pull the door close without walking.

Nonetheless, she had no choice but to wait for the perfect chance to escape. When all of the men were busy bickering, Ryan tiptoed hastily towards the door.

‘I can do it. I can escape! I can be a ninja!’

But her efforts were in vain.

“Ryan?”

Kyle’s voice echoed inside the house.

Ryan, who was two steps away from the door, looked back.

The five men were staring at her.

Ryan felt that her heart stopped beating for seconds, and then burst out of her chest the next beat.

‘I failed to escape,’ She admitted.

“Where are you going?” Vincent asked.

“Are you going to school without eating breakfast?” Terban asked, which surprised Vincent, Kyle, and Chaylen.

‘He’s worried about Ryan?’ the three shared the same thoughts.

However, Sylvester ignored Terban’s unusual words of concern. He stood up from his seat and said, “You should eat first, Ryan.”

Blushing, Kyle added, “He’s right. E-Eat first.”

Kyle looks like a rabbit. He couldn’t even look straight at her!

“Sit here,” Chaylen offered while patting the extra chair next to him.

Ryan never tried to sit next to Chaylen because she knew that he was flirting. But ever since Chaylen confessed, Ryan could see how sincere Chaylen was when he asked her to sit. His red nape and ears were pieces of evidence.

Therefore, the lady didn’t complain. Quietly, she walked towards them and sat next to Chaylen.

As soon as she sat down, she felt stares from the five men. She felt like sitting next to five beasts, and she was a weak lamb that they would devour soon!

‘Stop looking at me like that! I can’t hold my breath for a long time!’ she thought.

If there’s one thing that she was thankful for, then that is the fact that these five men still don’t know that they are liking the same woman.

Ryan decided to pretend ignorantly.

She lifted he head and looked straight at them.

But she wasn’t strong enough to endure their gazes which might melt her soon.

‘No. I can’t stay here!’

“I am not hungry!” Ryan announced as she stood up. “I am going to be late so I had to go. Bye!”

She jolted away after giving an awkward goodbye. But someone was fast enough to block her way. Ryan stopped and looked at that man with widened eyes.

“You need the energy to start your day. College day is no joke,” Slyvester said while blocking her pathway.

From behind, Chaylen and Terban were surprised to see how fast Slyvester is. But Kyle and Vincent, who already knew that Sylvester was a track & field champion in his high school day, weren’t shocked anymore.

“Just have this,” Sylvester said before he offered a white bread.

Ryan looked at the bread and back to Sylvester’s face.

“T-Thanks,” she stuttered.

When Ryan grabbed the bread from his hand, the tip of their fingers touched.

Sylvester and Ryan felt the electricity at the short skin contact.

Meanwhile, the four men behind glared at the scene!

Ryan quickly pulled back her hand, with the bread in her hand. Biting her lower lip, she went out of the boarding house without saying a word.

Slyvester stared at his finger.

Slowly, he placed his hand on his cheek. He wanted to feel the warmth he got from Ryan. However, he noticed the burning temperature around and when he tilted his head, he saw how the four men looked at him.

Vincent, Terban, Kyle, and Chaylen stared at him as if they’d cut his hand, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW.

“Why are you all looking at me as if you’ll gonna kill me?” Sylvester asked.

No one answered his question. But when they all picked up their forks, Sylvester’s shoulders twitched.

‘Just now, I thought I saw the gate of death,’ he thought.
