Chapter 79: Chapter 79
Taylor tucks the little girl into the bed and covers her up, only stopping when she gets to her chest and slowly stroke her head and suddenly she looks up at her mom with those cute adorable eyes that always casts a spell on the beholder.
"Mommy, please tell me a bedtime story." the little girl purr in a sleepy voice.
They have always been a compelling tone in her voice that would make anyone do whatever she asks them to and Taylor is no exception to that.
Taylor gets up and goes over to the shelf looking at the varieties of books on the shelf which she's read to her daughter a few times already. "Cinderella?" She asks, reaching in and taking out the little girl's favourite bedtime storybooks.
"No." she shook her head, "we been reading that ever since." The girl tells her and she has to agree they have and they'd done a three days Cinderella ritual before so she gets why her daughter is no longer intrigued by the story. "Raccontami una nuova storia. (Tell me a new story.)" She requests cutely in Italian.
She returns the book to the shelf and walks over to where the girl is and she sits on the chair close to her. "Once open a time, there was a girl, a poor girl who fell in love with a very wealthy and powerful boy, she thought such things as happily ever after existed for people like her, that love would be stronger than any challenges that would come their way, she thought love had the power to conquer everything, even death.
She was so wrong.
She gave him her all, but that wasn't good enough, she gave him every little part of her that made her human, but unlike fairytale, it wasn't good enough. Reality showed up and reminded her she was a fool. Slowly she got convicted, reminded that fairytale doesn't exist for someone like her, but that reality does.
After so much grief and sorrow, all she sees now is death in life, sorrow in joy, suffering in enjoyment, tears in laughter, weeping in rejoicing and hatred in love.
Now all she feels is emptiness and bitterness, anger and resentment towards every memory they had. She knows now that love doesn't exist and if it does, it's not for people like her, but something else exists, and that is called payback.
It's the only consolation she has for her pain, grief and sorrow. She plans to make him feel as much pain and sorrow as she has felt and she's still feeling. Make him know what it feels like to be bitter, and when she's done, he's going to wish he was never born.
His name is Rory John Gate and she's going to be his nightmare."
She finishes speaking and finally looks over at the little girl and she is already asleep and she gets up and lays a soft kiss on her head and cover her up with the bedsheets, before walking out of the room.
