Chapter 21: Chapter 21

: Wedding in the Snow

Chris rushed down the stairs frantically, heart pounding till he reached the body that lay still on the floor, "Justin!" he yelled shaking him.

Justin didn't budge.

"Help!" he called out frantically trying to see what the hell was wrong with him.

"Did you hear that?" Robin asked, turning to Bree.

"Somebody help! Dad!"

Robins bolted up.

"Someone's calling," Julie said pushing out of her seat

"I think its Chris," Beats commented standing up as they followed the cries.

"C'mon Justin what's wrong with you?" Chris asked shaking him, "help!" he called out again, desperately trying to wake his brother up.

He was scared, really scared. Justin wasn't moving at all.

Robin spotted them and rushed towards his two sons.

"What happened?" He asked kneeling beside Justin.

"I don't know he was, then he." Chris couldn't form any proper sentences

Robin came into contact with Justin skin, "he's as cold as ice,” he mumbled

Beats rushed by him.

"His lips are blue, but he's still breathing," Beats added feeling Justin's tempo.

By this time around the whole family had surrounded him.

"Uncle Wilbert!" Bree called out frantically as she felt Justin temperature.

"I'm right here, doctor to the rescue," he said sliding beside them sharply then feeling Justin.

"His temperature is very low," he said feeling him, "we need to make him warm."

"We could take him upstairs to the bedroom," Humphrey offered. He was already kneeling beside him.

Lucy wanted to go and help but Bree held her back, she watched in horror as Justin lay there eyes closed, looking lifeless.

She noticed that the tips of his finger nails were also turning blue and his chest was rising and falling fast,

"okay, so I'm going to need people to work fast and calmly please," Uncle Wilbur announced, “boys, I want you to take him upstairs and cover him, Bree honey, please warm some water and bring it up, you two.." he said pointing to George and Lucy, " go find as many blankets as you can, Julie please turn up the temperature, and Venice," he said turning to his daughter, "go grab the doctor emergency kit in my bedroom,” he said then he turned back to the body. Everybody stood there still in shock, "What are you people waiting for?" Uncle Wilbur yelled, "go! Go! Go!"

They all dispersed, each fulfilling what they were told to do, scattering everywhere.

The guys lifted up Justin, "be careful with him," Uncle Wilbert cautioned.

The boys gently took him up the stairs. It was difficult but they managed, laying him in his room.

They covered him up just as Venice walked in with the first aid kit,

"Found it," she announced placing it on the bed beside Justin, before tucking her fiery red hair behind her ear.

Sucking her lip nervously as she saw Justin's passed out self.

Uncle Wilber took out his stethoscope as they watched. Bree was squeezing Robins hand unsure of what was really wrong with her soon to be son, "he'll be okay," he assured his wife.

Chris watched as Uncle Wilbur did what he needed to do. He saw Justin's pale face, blue lips, his mind replaying what Justin had said to him. He had been right, he should have been more supportive.

Maybe if he was supportive from the start Justin would not be in this pitiful condition right now.

He gritted his teeth blaming himself before he walked out of the room, not wanting to see him in that condition anymore.

George and Lucy came in with blankets, allowing Uncle Wilbur to get them and cover Justin.

He examined Justin again.

Lucy stood by the door next to George, Humphrey, Beats and Mr Ryder watching closely.

Uncle Wilber got some liquid medicine from his kit and injected Justin with it.

Bree came back with some hot water and a face cloth.

Julie shooed the rest away and the other grownups helped her to take the younger ones to bed while the teens and the grownups went back to the sitting room, wondering what was going on upstairs.

Doctor Wilbert got the cloth and dipped it into the hot water, laying it over Justin's fore head.

After five minutes he would dip the facecloth in the water again and lay it on Justin's face neck and chest.

Then he took out his stethoscope again and listened to Justin's heartbeat.

He smiled as he packed it away and backed away from Justin, fixing his blanket again.

Lucy noticed that Justin was now taking deeper breaths and his chest was rising slowly and more comfortably but he was still unconscious,

"Will he be okay?" Bree asked. She was very worried, "what’s wrong with him?"

"Calm down Bree it's not very serious anyhow,"

"How can I calm down, uncle? I mean look at him," she said referring to Justin.

"Bree...” Mr Ryder eased, "Wilbert, what's wrong with him?"

Uncle Wilbert sighed, "Well I think he is hypothermic,"

"Hypo what?" Bree asked wondering why he was using doctor terminologies on her simple brain.

"You mean he is allergic to the cold?" Robin asked

"In simple terms, I guess you can say that."

"Well is it so bad it made him unconscious?" Bree asked still anxious

"Well, yes Bree, actually what happens to people who are hypothermic is that even when the slightest bit of cold enters them, there body becomes irritated and they begin to shiver?"

"Yes, I noticed that when we were at the airport."

"Exactly, so what happened to Justin was the cold entered his body which is probably not used to cold, especially cold that comes from the snow.

After shivering for a couple of minutes the body could not trap enough heat for itself. The cold air slowed his lungs making it harder for him to breathe and numbed his joints and other body parts as the body begun losing more heat. Adding to that there was not enough oxygen going to his brain, during this time, his lungs were stalled causing him to faint."

"So, will he be okay?" Lucy barged in

Uncle Wilber looked at Lucy a little startled, "girlfriend?" he asked lifting one eye brow, she nodded a bit shy.

"Well, the cold air filled up his lungs so the body's quite worn out, battling the cold air from outside and in, it's slowed a lot if his body activities, that's why you can see his lips are blue and his fingertips, it's a symptom, "

All their eyes were focused on Justin as he spoke.

"But he'll be okay, with the amount of heat that's coming his way his body will soon improve, someone should keep changing the cloth though and boil more hot water,"

"I'll do it," Lucy offered.

“I can manage," Bree interrupted as she sat by Justin's bed side and changed the cloth,

"He’ll be okay by tomorrow?" Robin asked Wilbur.

"He should be," Wilbur replied sighing as he stood by Robin and faced Justin and Bree, "but when he does, he should be indoors and if he wants to come out he should be wearing a lot of warm clothing, but for now its best he's inside.

He will be quite drowsy and unstable when he wakes up so he should be in bed for a few more hours. Also hot soup or porridge with some nice hot tea will do him good when he wakes up, so the body is given a boost, apart from that he'll be fine.

He's lucky. If he was outside things could have gotten much worse, he just needs rest and warmth," he said patting Robin.

"Thank you Wilbert"

"Oh shut up, we're family," he replied with a grin.

Robin nodded with a smile of his own.

"Okay shows over," Robin called out to the rest of the crew, "You heard what Doc said, Justin rest needs so let him rest," he told them as they filed out one by one, "Bree?" Mr Ryder called back, padding by the door.

"I'll be okay darling," she responded smiling.

Robin nodded as he closed the door behind him and went looking for Chris.

Bree kept changing the face cloth turning it over and switching places till the blue from Justin's lips began to fade into their natural color.

She watched him closely. He had the perfect lips and a handsome face, stunning features for a gorgeous boy.

She paused for a minute when she suddenly realized how good looking Justin was. She remembered when she caught him coming out of the shower.

He had a perfectly chiseled face and his body was to die for, irresistible.

She sat there staring at him. Unconscious but still handsome. She licked her lips slowly.

**

Meanwhile Robin went looking for his other son.

He found Chris alone leaning by the balcony

“Hey, " he said poking Chris whose head was in the clouds.

Chris looked up at him startled

"Easy,” Dad said patting his shoulder, "you're too jumpy."

"How is he?" Chris asked anxiously

"He’s stable, how are you?" Dad asked taking a seat next to him

Chris sighed, folding his arms, “I feel depressed and angry at myself, “he replied truthfully, much to Robin’s surprise.

"Why?"

"If I wasn't so upset and so defensive, h-he would never have been so stressed and fallen down the stairs,"

"So you feel responsible for it,"

"I should have known better," Chris replied sighing.

"Chris my boy,” Robin began stretching his hand towards him.

"Justin is tough, you know what he went through and sometimes we tend to judge others because we haven't really walked in their shoes. Justin has gone through a lot, he is only eighteen but look at how much life has thrown his way.

He is very complex, if you try to control him, he will push you away,"

He rested one arm around Chris and patted his shoulder gently,

“I know you want what's best for him, just like I do, but Justin's should learn to be a man. We can only support his decisions and be there for him. You can advise him but never force your way on him, he will feel pushed to the brink. You must learn to live every second with a loved one like it's your last, so you'll have no regrets," he stood up, "Justin has hypothermia,"

Chris looked up at him

"He'll be okay by tomorrow he just needs a little rest and warmth, so cheer up, you still have time to fix things. I want the two of you to be happy for Bree's sake. Our wedding is after tomorrow, I want no frowns."

Chris nodded. Robin looked at him,

"Well? Aren't you going to pay your brother a visit?" he asked.

"Yeah, I think I will," he responded as they both left the room.

**

Bree took Justin's hand in hers. They were still cold but soft. She stared at him for a second.

He was a charming boy she thought. "Snap out of it!" a voice rang inside her head.

She stood up hurriedly scared. What had she been thinking?

The door opened suddenly and she turned around frantically.

"Is everything okay?" Julie asked as she brought in another basin of hot water,

"Oh yes sir, I was just taking a break,"

Julie nodding focusing on Justin, "This boy is quite handsome," she examined

"Oh Julie," Bree countered

"I'm just saying you have a very handsome step son," she replied setting the basin by Justin.

Bree forced a smile.

"Who ever thought that such a handsome face existed," she bragged on

"Julie, you better leave," Brie said smiling, "before you sin,"

Julie smiled too, chuckling at what she presumed was a joke, "oh I can't believe you're getting married," she said touching Bree

"I can't believe it myself...”

"I never thought you'll ever settle again,"

"I guess I found love again,"

“Robin’s a fine catch,"

"Stop it, money isn't everything,"

"I know dear, money can't make you smile like that,"

Bree laughed, "you better check on the kids," she said

Julie nodded, “I better, I’m happy for you," she said as she opened the door, walking out.

She met Chris on the way out and smiled at him as he entered.

"Hey son, are you okay?" Bree asked, turning to face him as he walked in.

"Yeah I'm okay, I just wanted take it from here,"

Bree nodded, "you're a good brother Chris," she assured him as she left them alone.

Chris sat by Justin's bed side, changing the towel and watching over him for the rest of the night.

He watched as Justin's breathing pace became normal and his blue finger tips disappeared, until he knew he was going to be okay. He sat by Justin's bed side and only left the next morning.

---------------------------------------------------

Justin opened his eyes.

It was blurry for a minute, he tried sitting up but he felt weak and numb all over, finding himself all alone in the room.

It wasn't a minutes later when the door opened and in came Bree, carrying a tray with a bowl of hot soup on it.

"Look whose wake?" she stated setting the tray on the night stand.

"W-w happened to me?" Justin asked trying to sit up again, gazing at the blankets that had been piled on top of him so he felt like an Eskimo.

"Be careful!" Bree warned helping him up.

She sat by his bed and propped a pillow behind his back for him to lean on, "well you gave us a hell of scare," she explained smiling as she held out a spoon full of soup to him.

Justin paused starting at the steaming soup before taking it in, swallowing hard, “I did? What happened to me?" He repeated.

"Turns out you're hypothermia. Allergic to the cold or something like that, never really did well in biology. I guess too much cold entered your body, causing your body to well, give up," She explained feeding him another spoon full.

"You could have told me, you know. We could have changed the wedding venue," she added.

"I didn't know, I've never been in such a cold area before,” Justin replied.

"It’s okay, all you got to do is rest easy and stay warm and you'll feel as fit as a fiddle,”

Justin smiled, before it disappeared instantaneously, "and Chris?" he asked.

"You should be thankful to have a brother like Chris. He took care of you the whole night. He was devastated when he thought something really bad had happened to you."

Justin paused for a minute, "is that true?"

Bree was about to respond before Chris walked in. She instead pretended to fix Justin's pillow and whispered in his ear, "yes and he never once left your side," she finished as she took the half empty bowl of soup and told him to stay warm.

She patted him and then walked over and kissed Chris on his cheek, "morning son, take care of your brother," she said as she left them.

Chris walked further inside Justin's room and sat on the bed smiling, "I'm glad to see you’re okay," he said.

Justin nodded still watching him curiously, as if trying to decide if he was still made at him, “I was told the best doctor took care of me the whole night," he joked.

Chris laughed, causing him to relax once he saw that he had turned out of his sour mood and was now the old Chris.

"Look Chris, about what I wanted to say earlier-"

Chris cut him off, “its okay Justin," he reassured patting his leg. "I know that I can be very pressurizing and pushy, but I hope you know I only want what's best for you."

Justin was about to counter but Chris stopped him, “you don't have to explain yourself. A wise man just told me that I should live every second with my loved one like it's my last because one day it might be too late.

I don't want to fight with you. Back at the orphanage you were the only person that I could call on, who always had my back. From now on I will support you and try my hardest to stop being such a jerk,"

They both laughed,

"Chris, I still wonder what I did to deserve a brother like you,"

"Well the feelings mutual," he replied blinking away the tears that had begun clouding his eyes. "Enough of all this sadness," he said as he got into bed with Justin and lay by him.

"Tell me brother, how does it feel like fainting? Did your spirit come out and watch us all while we took care of you?" Chris asked amused

"You're crazy bro," Justin chuckled laying back.

"Ow! Well you're as hot as a fire!” Chris replied touching him

Justin laughed

"Welcome back Justin," Chris said

"I'm glad to be back Chris, glad to be back." Justin replied

Chris accompanied Justin for the rest of the morning. Robin came to see them as it neared lunch time, dressed in casual shorts and T-shirt.

"Look who’s now on speaking terms," he began as he noticed that the two of them were sitting side by side.

"You know we couldn't stay mad at each other forever dad," Justin spoke up.” were family,"

Robin grinned, "It’s good to see your doing better, has Wilbert already checked up on you?" he asked.

Justin nodded

"Oh yeah Dad, there's something I wanted to ask you about," Chris started sitting up.

"What is it?"

"Well you know we just found out we had a big family,"

"Huge!" Justin added

Robin chuckled, "yes we are many,"

"It's about Grandma Holly, I don't mean to bring up the past but I thought you said your mother died of cancer and you didn't have any relatives, so where is this family from?"

"Yes, you know I wondered the same," Justin backed him up, his eyebrows hunching.

Robins smile faded, His face darkened as he stood up, "I guess the truth will come out sooner or later even if I try to hide it, " he said, "I mean I'm sure you noticed Holly and her family are black and I'm sure you're wondering how they play into all this"

He glanced at both boys for a moment, "Apart from Bree, I've only loved one other woman in my life, her name was Angela." he sighed, “she was amazing, smart, funny and hardworking. She was always with me through thick and thin. I believe she was my guardian angel. She passed away ten years ago, two months before our wedding," he said sadly

"What happened to her?" Justin asked.

Robin looked away, staring into nothing, as if he was lost in the past, "she drowned in a car accident, she was avoiding a collision with an upcoming truck and lost control. The car went straight into the ocean. Her body has never been found. That’s why I've taken this long to marry, couldn't find love that is till I met Bree, she had a sad story too" he swallowed hard as Justin watched him clench his teeth.

He clasped his hands together, "so your grandma Holly is her mother, there the only family I have now. She still sees me as a son and I see her as my mother, now you two will know her as your grandmother." he said smiling.

In that moment Justin realized then, that he wasn't the only one who had gone through a lot of crap. Why was life so messy?

Robin smiled at them, “you too should come down and show everyone you're okay, they've all been worried and they don't believe me when I say you're okay, I'll see you two downstairs," he said as he walked out the door.

"I didn't realize dad had gone through so much," Justin commented turning to Chris

"Yes, but look at him now, you can hardly tell."

Justin nodded, "I want to be like him,"

"Ah, you will bro, remember you're a Ryder now," he said smiling.

Chris stood up, "are you able to stand up?" he asked Justin as he came out of the covers and stood on the floor.

"I think I can," Justin replied as he uncovered himself, he managed to stand up though he felt quite weak, he took a step and staggered.

"I got you," Chris said allowing Justin to lean on him.

"Thank you ," He replied. Chris took a blanket and covered it around Justin.

He made sure he was wearing warm fuzzy socks because Doctor Slash Uncle Wilbert had told him that the cold enters through the feet.

He guided Justin to the door and helped him down the stairs.

**

Meanwhile Lucy was sitting in her bedroom just wondering how Justin was doing.

It was killing her not knowing his condition, she couldn't even sleep well that night.

"Knock, knock!" Bree said knocking on the widely opened door.

Lucy turned around to see who it was. "May I come in?" Bree asked

Lucy nodded as she fixed her skirt properly.

"Are you okay?" Bree asked sitting next to her.

Lucy nodded at first then shook her head, "is he okay?" she asked anxiously.

Bree took Lucy's hand in hers, "he's doing fine, he’s wide awake now, smiling and laughing."

Lucy released a breath in relief and stared at the ground.

"You love him a lot don't you?" Bree asked

Lucy blushed. She nodded very shy.

"Look at you your even blushing," Bree cooed, marveling at young love.

Lucy chuckled a little.

"Oh sweetie, I just want to tell you that you're very lucky. You don't know how many girls are dying to be in your place right now."

Lucy bit her lip

Bree reached out and lifted Lucy's chin so her eyes looked directly at her.

"Justin's a good boy and my future son deserves the best only, Lord knows he has the softest heart."

Lucy nodded having had seen it too.

"I'm telling you this because I don't want you hurting him in anyway Lucy. I know that you are a really nice girl. I just hope you will do what's best for him, give him the space he needs. I know this is none of my business but I’m only going to tell you this once, don't push Justin or control him. Let him decide. He needs space to breathe honey, I believe you want him to be happy, so let him be," she smiled at Lucy.

"I know you love him and you will do what's best for him," she said standing up and heading out the door. "Don’t chain him down anymore," she said before she left.

Lucy looked at the door after Bree had left.

What's best for Justin? She was what's best for him, and she WAS doing what was best for him.

He needed her, he just hadn’t realized it yet, she belonged to Justin and Justin belonged to her and her alone.

**

Chris helped Justin down the stairs and to the sitting room.

Everybody hovered around him asking how he was doing. Others asked for a picture taken with him, even though they were family, Justin was still a star.

Lucy came down stairs too and saw the commotion over Justin.

She realized if she ever let Justin go, he would be swarmed over like the way he was now, and this was his family, what more his fans? She headed down stairs angrily toward Justin.

"Hey Lucy," George said pulling her away from the commotion she was heading to.

He had sensed the jealousy brewing up inside of her. "Hey girl, let's chat outside,"

"No, not now, I have to see Justin," she said pulling away.

"You can see him later, please, I really have to tell you something," George persuaded determined to allow Justin to have some space.

He too had seen how controlling and nerve wrecking Lucy could be and Justin was the quiet type. He was recovering for God sake!

He needed all the peace and quiet he could get and Lucy just spelt trouble all over her.

"Can’t it wait?" Lucy asked pushing her lips.

"No please girl, it's urgent," George insisted pulling her the opposite direction.

Chris saw this and mouthed a thank you over to George and George winked at him.

Uncle Wilbert told the family to give Justin time to rest if they wanted him to be able to attend the wedding tomorrow.

So Chris escorted Justin back up to their bedroom.

Lucy was now very angry. She went outside and George wasn't saying anything reasonable.

When she stormed back in she found Justin had already gone back up stairs and when she tried to follow him Beats blocked her saying Uncle Wilbert had refused Justin to have any other visitors for that day, and that he only needed to focus on recovering.

Lucy did not see Justin till the next day.

**

That evening was busy.

Bride’s maids doing their thing and the Best men doing their own thing. Bob had arrived that afternoon since he was the best man and Julie was the maid of honor.

Robin and Bree had decided to have their parties under one roof to avoid last minute mistakes. No stripers just a boy’s night and a girl’s night, the teens were either in the sitting room watching TV or outside and the kids were asleep.

Justin, Chris, Humphrey, George and Beats were having their own boy’s night as they watched an action movie sleeping in bed while eating popcorn, before playing a few video games.

Lucy was with the other girls, gossiping and what not.

Anna had stayed back in LA so Lucy had to make new friends with Justin's extended family.

They were having their own girls night too watching romantic movies and gossiping mainly about how cute Chris and Justin were and how unfortunate they were to be related to them but again how fortunate they were to know them, it was quite frustrating for Lucy at times but they all had a good time.

**

The next day was hectic since it was the wedding day of Bree and Robin.

The boys woke up pretty late since they had slept early the next morning.

Chris woke them all up,

"What?"

"I'm still sleepy,"

"I need my beauty sleep,"

"Go back to sleep and stop disturbing me," where the replies he received.

"Guys!" he shouted. They sat up bolt upright, startled by his sudden outburst.

"It’s ten o'clock, "he said looking at his watch.

"So?" Humphrey asked scratching his back.

"Doesn't the wedding start at noon exactly?" he asked. They all looked at each other for a moment.

Then they burst up scattering this way and that, "where are my clothes?" they kept asking,

"This isn't your room,” Chris reminded them.

"Oh!" they cried grabbing there blankets and rushing out in there boxers.

The girls laughed as they watched the three boys rush back to their room’s shirtless only wearing boxers and bed sheets in one hand.

"Not you!" Chris said pulling Justin back, "this is you room Mr," he said laughing

"Really?" Justin asked confused

"You must have drunk to much alcohol it washed your brains away!" he laughed

Justin pinched him. They didn't even have alcohol last night.

"Over my dead body," was Bree’s reply when she caught them trying to steal a case of boos from the pantry last night?

Chris was still laughing before his eyes met the watch, we need to dress up pronto or dad will kill us if we are late for his wedding."

"Me first!" Justin yelled jumping out of bed and heading toward the shower.

Chris looked at him in surprise, "that was a quick recovery," he thought.

Justin was in and out of the shower in a jiffy.

"So you're fine now?" Chris asked

"I feel fine," Justin replied throwing a towel over to Chris who walked into the shower.

When Chris was done he came out of the shower stopping short, as he stared at Justin all suited up, “you look good in suits," he commented

"Really? Because I feel like a penguin," he said trying to adjust his bow tie.

Chris laughed

"Try yours," Justin persuaded. Chris took his suit out of the wrapper and tried it on,

"Yeah, you look like a penguin too," Justin replied

Chris laughed, "Well then now people will be convinced that we are brothers,"

It was Justin's turn to laugh now. "Well here goes nothing,” he said as they headed out the door side by side.

The wedding was happening outside the villa, but inside the large grounds.

It had patches of snow all over the place but the sky was white and lofty.

Everything looked perfect, Justin and Chris noted.

It was white everywhere. All the men were wearing black suits and the females white dresses all having white roses. Red and White roses where spread everywhere, even the platform where Bree and Robin would take their vows.

Robin called out to his sons. He was standing beside Bob and Uncle Wilbert and another one of their uncles. Uncle Wilbur told Justin he shouldn't stay outdoors for so long.

Despite feeling better his body could not stand the cold.

Chris had to go back inside and get two coats for Justin and a blanket. Justin complained saying it would mess up his suit and the whole decoration thing but Robin would not take any of his excuses.

His safety came first and he didn't want any incidents during the ceremony. "you two will sit at the front," he ordered them showing them the seats and then told them to stay there till the ceremony was over because he didn't want them late, as the sons of the groom they must be here before everyone else.

So they were stuck there for the next two hours. The guests arrived and the reverend father who was going to bless the two of them arrived thirty minutes before the wedding begun.

Beats, Humphrey and George were given seats a little ways back.

Lucy was amongst the bridesmaids. Chris and Justin watched as the entry seats begun to fill up.

Chris nudged Justin, "can you see what I'm seeing,” he asked

Justin looked at where Chris' eyes where strained.

"Hell no, is that, Rihanna?" Justin asked unconvinced.

She was hugging their dad and telling him she wouldn't miss his wedding for the world.

"Look Jenipher Lopez!" he said, nudging harder in excitement. Sure enough there she was also hugging Mr Ryder who was welcoming the visitors.

"Oh great! So many important people and I'm here looking like a bloated penguin," Justin argued angrily

"Safety first," Chris teased.

A few other celebrities were spotted to name a few, Sam smith was also there with Stephen Spielberg, Adele, Demi lovato, Leona lewis, , Eminem, Chris brown, and the Harmsworth’s as well as Kevin heart, and a few others all coming to celebrate Bree and Robins big day.

"The Carter's sends their apologies for not being able to make it," a lady was telling Robin.

"Oh thank you, its okay, Beyoncé’s on tour right now isn't she?"

"Yes in Norway, but she asked me to send her deepest regrets, congratulations and her wedding gift,"

"Well, we understand, thank you," Robin said accepting the gifts.

A few minutes later all the guests and family members were told to stay in their seats because the ceremony was about to start.

The men took their positions, Watching the Reverend at the alter facing the guests with Robin standing beside him, the line up and brides maids proceeded before the bride.

With the flower girl before her. Bree took Uncle Wilbert’s elbow as the wedding organizer gave her the queue.

She breathed in and out slowly as Julie encouraged her and told her she looked beautiful. She began her long awaited walk toward her future.

Her white wedding dress was to die for, with its elegant flow and sweet heart neck line.

It trailed gracefully behind her as she took a step closer and closer to her Destiny.

She held onto Uncle Wilbert’s elbow tightly as she walked on nervously.

She was breathtaking. The wedding dress followed her perfect structure down to her knees where it opened up, it dragged behind soft and white and feathery on the white pavement, leading to the alter. Her make up matched her skin perfectly and she didn't need much because she was pretty naturally.

Robin smiled as he beheld the woman he was willing to spend the rest of his life with walk down the aisle.

Bree looked at her future sons and saw a world where she didn't have to be alone anymore, a world where she had finally found something to love more than herself, A family that would stay with her, till death do they part.

A family she could call her own. She smiled at the thought arriving at the alter after a longish walk down the aisle. Uncle Wilbert kissed her forehead lightly unveiling her, then handed her over to Robin who took hold of her dainty hand as they stood side by side.

"Brothers and sisters we have come here to witness the joining of two destinies, one of Bree Houston and Robin Ryder," the Reverend father said aloud.

"You may say your vows," he said turning to the couple.

Robin turned around so he was facing Bree. He cleared his throat as he looked into her deep brown eyes and held her hands in his

"I met you when I was at my lowest in life. A place where I believed I was long done with love, “he shook his head,

"I was a mess and mad at the world and I and everyone else near me. I was a wreck before you found me. I was broken and all I was doing was just surviving in this world which I thought was nothing but a cage for me.

My heart had turned to stone and I believed there was no way out for me, then one day you came in with that gorgeous smile of yours," Bree smiled blinking away the years from her eyes. "In a split second you were able to melt my stone cold heart, you taught me to live and not only to survive. You set me free from the cage I had built around me and gave me hope for the future. I'll give my life for you and everything that I own for a woman as great as you."

Bree laughed a little wiping a tear that rolled down her cheek, "I am so grateful for you. I believe and I'm positive that there is a God up there because he answered my prayers and gave me this angel I'm marrying today." Bree was trying really hard not cry tears of joy as Robin continued.

"so I stand here in front of the whole world to testify and confess my love for you." he said getting the ring that was brought to them on a velvet cushion, "so I promise you here today, heaven being my witness that I will love you through thick and thin, high and low, heaven or hell and no matter what I will never let you go," he said putting the ring on her marriage finger.

Bree smiled and the audience clapped. Then it was her turn.

"Robin,” she said smiling, he returned it,

"I am a very talkative and outspoken woman but with you I cannot find the words to describe how wonderful you are," she said her voice shaking from crying. "Every day I look up at the heavens and ask God what the hell I did to deserve you,"

The guests laughed
