Chapter 98: Chapter 98

The doctor checked Valerie's health condition and came out of the guest bedroom of Walter palace. Stefan was waiting outside of the room.

"Doctor, what has happened to her, how is she now?" Stefan asked, moving towards the doctor.

"She was already weak and seems to be she was shocked that's why she has fainted. I suggest take proper care of her diet and medications. These are some medicines for her which she has to consume without fail."

"Till when she will regain her composure?"

"Within a couple of hours. I gave her an injection, let her rest for some time. After consuming these medicines, if she will still feel unwell please bring her to the hospital then."

The doctor, after instructing Stefan in detail, went back.

Stefan was guilty of Valerie, but he can't help her as he seriously loved Sarah with all his heart and has no place for anybody else. His emotions were complicated. Not knowing how to deal with Valerie.

Even after the doctor has gone, he was pacing in the corridor and scratching her neck. Just then Carol came to find him.

"Brother Stefan, Sarah wanted to visit our family temple, and everybody was especially waiting for you. If you are done, then please join us, lest Sarah will not go without you and everybody will get late."

Stefan nod and peep inside the room and saw Valerie unconscious. He called two servants and instruct them to take care of Valerie and left with Carol.

Sarah's face cracked in a warm smile at seeing Stefan is coming. He held Sarah in his embrace and walked out of the palace, followed by all family members.

They all drove off to their family temple in their respective cars. Stefan wasn't driving the car today but asked the driver to drive and he was sitting at the back with Sarah, but Sarah stopped.

"Joyce, you go home first, it's Christmas eve celebrate it with your family. Stefan, you drive the car." Sarah generously grants leave to Stefan's driver and even gave him a few boxes of sweets and gifts.

Stefan doesn't need any more reason to fall in love with his wife, but she makes him fall for her more and more. His heart was extremely sweet at this moment. The guilt in his heart for Valerie has subsided.

Stefan made Sarah sit on the copilot seat. He sat on the driving seat and started the car.

"Angel, are you feeling fine?" Stefan saw Sarah kept her head at the back of the seat, even though she was smiling ear to ear but it's not reaching her eyes.

Of course, Sarah has a quite tiring day in the excitement of Christmas eve, but her Christmas eve was not as perfect as she imagined because of the sudden arrival of Valerie.

However, Sarah has complete trust in Stefan, still, she has a kind of fear in her heart. She has already seen so many ups and downs, especially when it comes to her love. Now she has a hunch of another storm approaching towards her.

"I am fine and will feel great after visiting our family temple," Sarah said with a smile, straightened herself, and sat.

"By the way, we the Walters usually visit our family time on Christmas day. What magic spell did you do to them that they all are happily agreed to visit it on Christmas evening?" Stefan asked playfully.

He knew well that when it comes to Sarah's wish, the entire will agreed to do anything, anytime. They can't say no to Sarah.

"I was just saying I wanted to visit the temple then everybody will also go with us."

So, Stefan was right, big uncle and big aunt have been changed their very old habit for Sarah only. She is a magician of the family, even an atheist like Stefan started believing in God.

Sarah was pleased to get out of the car and looked at the beautifully decorated temple. She held Stefan's hand stiffly and walked inside the temple.

Originally Sarah wanted to thank God for this blissful with Stefan and her baby, but now her complicated heart wanted to ask more. Sarah wants Stefan to be hers forever. She is not selfish, but when it comes to her love, she doesn't want to be lenient.

Sarah knelt in front of God and asked hers and Stefan's forever togetherness, and Stefan was silently standing beside her, looking at her face.

"God, I have everything when I have my Sarah. Please grant her every wish, that is my only wish."

After sometimes Sarah stood up and her smile grew wider when she has seen Stefan was looking at her.

"Let's light the candle," Sarah said, and Stefan only nodded with a sweet smile.

Sarah and Stefan walked towards a corner and started lighting candles. More than candles, Sarah's face was shining with happiness, and Stefan was just staring at her with a doting gaze.

After some time, Stefan looked at his wristwatch and asked Sarah to stop, but she was reluctant.

"Sarah, it's enough for you for today. You can't take more stress, let's go back home first."

"No, I want to be here for some more time," Sarah said with a pout.

The sanctity atmosphere of the temple was soothing for Sarah's uneasy heart. She doesn't want to go back so early.

"No angle, don't tire yourself more, at least think about our baby." Stefan coaxes Sarah so easily and she nods because the baby is her everything.

Everybody saw the couple busy with each other and walked out of the temple, but Sarah didn't stand up but shows her both hands to Stefan. Stefan chuckled, shook her head on Sarah's antics, and picked her in his arms.

Whenever Sarah has to do something which she doesn't want to do, she shows such a kind of tantrum. It's because of her pregnancy.

In the Walter palace's guest room, Valerie regains her composure and saw an unknown face beside her. She was a servant.

"Are you alright, miss?" Servant asked.

"Yes, I am fine." Valerie got up and looked around. "Where is Stefan?"

"Young master Stefan and everybody has gone out for church visit they will be back in sometime."

Valerie's heart was bitter. She was lying unconscious on the bed and Stefan went out with his family. Is he completely change?

"Alright....."

Valerie said, stepped down from the bed and thought about something, and walked out of the room. When she was climbing downstairs she saw Walter's family was stepping inside, coming back from the temple visit.

Behind everybody, Stefan was walking carrying Sarah in his arms and Sarah also wrapped her arms around his neck both were smiling looking at each other.

Valerie felt somebody stabbed her heart and realized that Stefan and Sarah are so close to each other that perhaps she doesn't have any place.
