Sarah, who had just woken up when Stefan was caressing her stomach, interrupted Stefan's emotional conversation with his baby. She couldn't see Stefan blaming himself for the accident, he had no fault. He has done his best to protect me.

Ashley had tried to kill her many times before and if it was not for Stefan, who saved her every time, or else Sarah wouldn't have been alive till now. Stefan always protected her and the last evening it was her foolishness that had landed her and her baby in the trouble.

Stefan looked towards Sarah, who bowed her head and eyelashes as well, feeling guilty.

Stefan noticed Sarah's face and understood her inner emotions, and he held her left cheek with his right hand lovingly.

"Sarah, you don't need to feel guilty for anything, it was you who suffered the most in the event. Ashley was the culprit, she has attacked you multiple times and this time she will get the punishment." Stefan said determinedly.

He was trying to comfort Sarah, but Sarah was still upset, her recklessness could have been harmful to their baby.

"I know Stefan, it was Ashley's malicious heart, but I should have been more careful after knowing Ashley so well. I shouldn't be......"

If it was for her own health, she wouldn't be so tensed, but her act ended up the baby in danger. How could she forgive herself? She was still blabbering with a guilty face but was interrupted by Stefan.

Stefan not only interrupted Sarah but also said a little sternly so that she will stop ranting the same nonsense about being guilty.

Stefan continued softly, "Right now you need complete rest and a happy environment around you, so please be happy." Stefan emphasized his words and was asking Sarah to be happy in a dominating tone.

"You are scolding her and asking her to be happy, is this the way you give your pregnant wife a happy environment?"

Suddenly they both heard a male voice, and looked towards the door, in the direction of the voice and saw Jack and Stella standing there.

"Stefan, you should treat Sarah gently, you can't be always dominating her," Stella said in a naughty tone while walking inside.

Stefan made a pout and said, "Stella, I was not scolding her, got it?"

Now Sarah also made a pout, because she could also hear Stefan, who was sounding domineering. He should be soft and gentle to her when she was lying on the hospital bed.

"Yes, Stella, he is always dominating me."

Sarah immediately complained about Stefan.

"Am I?" Stefan put a hand on his hips, looked at Sarah, and raised his eyebrows.

"Yes....." Sarah nodded her head vigorously.

A minute later, including Jack and Stella, Stefan and Sarah burst into laughter.

"Ahh, it's so good seeing you both, laughing and arguing cutely, like before. I wish you both will be naughty, funny and innocent like this always and no other problem will come in your life." Jack said with deep affection.

Stella caressed Sarah's head and asked about her health, then she put a casserole lunch box and a thermal flask on the table. They both had brought lunch for Sarah and Stefan.

"Now you both eat your lunch first."

Stefan also thought that Sarah must be hungry, he immediately stood up to serve food for Sarah but Stella stopped him.

"Stefan, you eat your lunch, I will help Sarah with her lunch." Stella gave the hot casserole lunch box to Stefan, and she poured some soup from the thermal flask for Sarah.

Stefan was sitting on the couch and eating his lunch and Stella was feeding soup to Sarah, she was throwing so many tantrums, making so many weird faces, as she didn't want to drink this tasteless soup.

"Stella, this soup tastes yuck, I don't want to have this, please." Sarah made an innocent face while speaking.

"Sarah, this is good for your health, have it silently." Stella coaxes her like a child.

"No, I want to eat something spicy, sour, and delicious," Sarah said stubbornly and made some relishing sounds with her lips, and amazed everybody.

Stefan observed that Stella was having a tough time dealing with Sarah's tantrums, he left his meal in the middle, stood up, and came to Stella.

"Stella, give it to me, I will feed her first and eat my food later," Stefan said, and extended his hand to take the bowl of soup, but Stella denied it.

The moment Stefan came to feed Sarah, her face's color changed. She knew now nobody could save her from Stefan, but when Stella denied it, her face once again was relaxed.

"Stefan, it's ok, you eat your food, I will feed your wife, don't worry."

"Stella, you don't know, she is very stubborn. She will not listen to you, give me the bowl of soup, I will handle her." Stefan had a strict face, and this is for Sarah's healthy recuperation.

Stella and Jack smiled at seeing Stefan's concern and love for Sarah, but she pouted when Stefan mentioned her to be stubborn, but she felt sore when she saw Stefan leave his meal in the middle for her.

"No, Stefan, you eat your lunch, I will have my meal with Stella, without irritating her," Sarah said with a grump face.

"Are you sure, you will have it and you won't throw anymore tantrums?" Stefan asked again to ensure.

Sarah pouted again and said, "Yes, I will. Now you go and eat your lunch." Sarah pushed Stefan slightly, but he didn't budge a bit.

Stefan smiled and moved towards his chair and resumed having his lunch. Sarah also started having her soup, even though silently with Stella, but she was still making terrible faces and cursing many curses on this plain soup, soup maker, doctor, hospital and don't know whom, under her breath.

Stella and Stefan were observing all her antics and chuckled, then Stefan's gaze fell on Jack behind him who was looking somewhat tensed and was trying to call someone constantly, but probably it wasn't connecting that's why he was getting irritated.

"What has happened, Jack, you are looking distressed?" Stefan asked.

Jack lifted his head with a jerk, looked towards Stella and Sarah who were busy with each other and seemed like they didn't listen to Stefan.

Jack released a sigh of relief and nodded his head in negative, hinting Stefan to avoid saying anything. Stefan understood, and he didn't ask anything further, but he will not let him go like this.

Stefan wanted to know what his brother was hiding, he shrugged his head and asked him to come out.

Jack nodded, stood up, and yawned. "Stella, I'm going to have some tea do you want some?"

"No, you brothers carry on."

Stefan and Jack nodded and walked out of the ward.
