Stefan's relaxed heart after the operation being ended once again started to beat at its maximum speed and the doctor's words broke him again.

There was blood in his eyes and a murderous look appeared on his face.

She was a lady gynecologist and Sarah's doctor, otherwise, Stefan would have twisted her neck for not able to save his Sarah.

Stefan could only plead to this doctor. "Doctor, please do whatever you can and save my Sarah. If you can't do anything I can invite the team of experts to examine Sarah."

"Even though Mr. Stefan it will not work, we are already trying our best. You should be grateful to the god that Mrs. Sarah has been fallen on her back and her belly didn't get hurt, otherwise, it could not only fatal for the baby but could be harmful to her uterus."

Everybody sighed in relief that her baby's womb is safe, now the baby will be fine, but Stefan's expression didn't change. If Sarah is already in danger, then how could he be happy for the unharmed uterus or a safe and sound baby. Nothing is good until Sarah is out of danger.

Walters was happy for the healthy baby but Evelyn came towards the doctor and asked, "Even though the baby is safe, what about my Sarah, doctor?"

"Mrs. Smith, she is still unconscious and the next 24 hours are critical for her. If she will not regain her composure with this period probably she could slip in a coma."

Another shock for Stefan, which was breaking him inward, but he can't break down. He has to keep all his positive strength for Sarah.

"Doctor, can we see her?" Amy asked.

"She is in the emergency room, I can't allow you all to make it crowded, let her rest." The doctor denied straightforwardly and went from there.

The doctor is right, let Sarah rest well, Stefan you be beside her." Andrew said.

All nod their head and Stefan walked into Sarah's emergency room, sat beside her sickbed, taking her palm in his warm hands, looking at her weak and pale face with foggy eyes.

Even though family members can't get in, they couldn't hold their concern and peeking inside the emergency room from a small glass on the door.

Their heart was paining seeing Stefan's melancholy condition because of Sarah.

He was sitting beside her, shedding tears, silently looking at her face, caressing her head, and planting soft pecks on her forehead frequently. He was more pitiful.

They were pitied for Stefan and concern for Sarah, even though talking in a whisper, they are so many people there and sounding noisy in the hospital.

A nurse came to them and asked not to make the hospital crowded and noisy. "Excuse me, sir, these many peoples are not allowed in the hospital at the same time. Only 2 people can be here at a time, rest all please go back first."

Andrew and Julia, being elder, stood up and nod.

"She is right we shouldn't make crowds here, it will disturb others, let's go home for now and come back tomorrow," Andrew said.

"Dad, you all go, I will be here with Stefan. I know him very well until and unless Sarah will be fine, he won't come back home." Ronald said decisively.

"No, I will be with my Sarah, I can't go home leaving my daughter in such condition."

All nodded helplessly.

"Alright, Ronald let Laura will be here and you go home with us. Mrs. Evelyn, you too come with us to Walter's palace, don't go to your home alone."

Evelyn also nodded with a teary face and moved out of the hospital behind Walter's family.

All reached home sat on the couch being exhausted, physically and mentally as well.

Servant poured water and served to everybody, but Evelyn refused and once again started crying. Julia and Amy came to her side and consoled her.

"Mrs. Evelyn, please don't cry; Sarah will be fine soon."

Amy forwarded the cup of water to her. "Mrs. Evelyn, drink it, you will feel better. If you want to take of your granddaughter, then you also have to take care of yourself first. You can't always cry and destroy your health like this."

Amy coaxed Evelyn like a child, Evelyn took a glass and started drinking but still sobbing.

"What is the problem with that Ashley, why is she after my granddaughter? My Sarah has done no harm to anybody then why Ashley hates her so much. I swear god will never forgive her; she will pay for her deeds." Evelyn cursed Ashley in rage and wiped her tears.

Ronald saw this with an expressionless face and walked into his room, he fetched his phone and dialed Stefan's lawyer's number.

"Mr. Jacob my apologizes to disturb you at late hours, but this is something urgent," Ronald called him because Jacob Green is Stefan's personal lawyer and he can't refuse Stefan and the person related to Stefan's request.

"No problem, Mr. Ronald, tell me, how may I help you?" The lawyer said respectfully.

"I want you to get mine and Ashley's divorce papers ready as soon as possible, please." Ronald requested the lawyer, and he agreed, he can't even buy time when it comes to Stefan's personal work.

"Alright, Mr. Ronald, don't worry you will get the divorce papers by tomorrow."

"Thanks a lot, Mr. Jacob." Ronald was sincerely grateful to him and hung up the call. If someone can help him get rid of this useless relationship with Ashley, then he can do anything to that person.

On another side of the hospital, Stefan was sitting beside Sarah. Stefan was holding her hand from one hand, and caressing her head from another hand, looking at her emotionally.

Laura was sitting on the couch and was watching Stefan and Sarah keenly and drown in her thoughts.

"Why all this is happening with my Sarah, why she always suffers? Whenever she started getting her happiness one or other storms shattered everything in her life and makes her life upside down."

Whereas Stefan was thinking, "Why all this always happens to me, whenever I get my love, someone snatched it? I was helpless in the past and criminals killed my Valerie, but I don't let the history repeat with my Sarah."

'No, I can't let this happen to Sarah.'

Suddenly Stefan was uneasy in heart, he felt if he will do nothing then he will lose Sarah, just as he lost Valerie back in the past. Stefan stood up with a determined face and went out asking Laura that take care of Sarah, he is will be back in some time.
