Parth's POV

" Someone made it and insisted that I must. I didn't want to hurt the feelings. So... " I said and smiled.

" Someone?? Hmmm?? Does by any chance, this someone is your 'just friend'? " Sid asked.

" Shut up! Have food. " I told him.

" Parth, you are changing!!! Getting ready to get married." He was grinning like anything.

" There is nothing like that, I told you, we are friends, only friends. " I said.

" Oh, you could not say, no to the girl who is 'just a friend. Now I will take advantage of this. She is just a friend, I am your best friend, you can't deny me anything. " Sid said.

" I never say no to you... you can ask for anything, even my life. " I said.

" I know, let's eat and see what has your new friend prepared for you. My Shruti is not very comfortable with cooking but she is learning for me. She made pancakes for me a few days back. " He said with a cute smile. I smiled back.

We started eating, it was delicious and I was very hungry all of a sudden, we finished the food within 5 minutes.

Sid was talking about how he was planning to tease Gautam bhai and Maurvi. He was very excited and I was happy to see him happy.

We both went to the cafeteria as she is usually there during the lunch break with Tanvi.

I spotted her looking beautiful, eating her food and the very next moment, I was shocked to see that idiot Vidyut sitting next to her eating food from her lunch Box.

What the hell!

He was ogling at her and I wanted to take out his eyes for looking at her like that.

" How dare he sit with her and share food like that? I will beat him to a pulp." I didn't realise that I said that aloud.

" Calm down, Parth. " Sid said but I was fuming.

" How can I calm down?? Look at the way he is ogling at her. " I whispered yelled.

" So why are you burning with jealousy?? He is just looking at her and don't forget, she is just your friend. " Siddharth said with a smirk.

" Have you lost it? Can't you see how is he looking at her?" I asked.

" But how does that matter to you? Maybe she is more than just a friend to him. " Sid said.

" What nonsense!! There is nothing like that. That is not possible. No! Never!! " I said.

" How can you be so sure? You are not even sure of your own feelings for her. You were right, she is very cute and pretty. The competition is tough, bro!! Go claim her before someone else does it. " He said with a smile.

" Shut up!! "

" Ok, I am going to meet her, come if you want to or keep sulking. " He said and started going towards her.

" I can't tolerate that man, will kill him... " I said and started going towards them.

" Parth, wait! Stop it! Let me talk! " Sid said and held me.

Riya's POV

I was getting annoyed by the way Dr Vidyut came and joined Tanvi and me, while we were having food. I was not in a mood to talk to him so I excused myself and got up closing my tiffin.

Dr Vidyut caught my hand and when I glared at him he released my hand immediately and touched his ears and apologized.

I was still angry at what he did but Tanvi pleaded with me to stop. And asked me to forgive him for her sake.

I sat down and he started eating food from my tiffin as well, I didn't feel good so I stopped eating. He praised the food.

I was getting very uncomfortable, he cracked a very funny joke and I forced myself to smile at that, but was uncomfortable.

Just then I saw Dr Parth and Dr Siddhart coming towards us. Dr Parth looked angry while Dr Siddhart looked tense and was trying to hold him back.

What happened??

" Parth, wait! Stop it! Let me talk! " Dr Siddharth was saying but Dr Parth was annoyed as hell.

But why? He was glaring at Vidyut, was he angry because Vidyut was sitting beside me?

Was he getting jealous?

No! Why would he? He is just concerned with me and is annoyed with him because he took me to watch that movie.

They came to stand by our table. " Hello, Dr Siddharth!" I said to him with a smile.

" Hi, Riya, I was coming to meet you. Can I talk to you for a minute, please? " He said and I excused myself and went away with them.

" Yes, sir? What happened?? " I said looking at both of them. But Dr Parth was irritated as hell.

" Riya, my brother is getting married tomorrow. So I wanted to invite you. Please, come to the wedding with Parth." He said with a smile.

" Congratulations, sir!! Thanks, I will try my level best to come." I said.

" What happened to you, Dr Parth? " I asked because I could not see him like that.

" Nothing! Why would anything happen to me? I am fine... actually good. " He said looking away.

" No, you don't look fine to me. In fact, you seemed to be annoyed at something. " I said with concern.

" Leave it, Riya. Maybe it's that special time of the month for him. " Dr Siddharth said and I eas shocked first but then saw their expressions and could not control myself, I burst out laughing.

" Shut up, Sid!! " Dr Parth glared at him.

" It's ok, Sid. It happens... You will be fine in 3-4 days. " Dr Siddharth said.

" I will break your jaw, imagine yourself with a bruised face at the wedding. " Dr Parth threatened him.

" You wouldn't dare to do that. You know Gautam... He would leave everything and beat you for beating me. " He said with a grin.

" Shut up, Sid. " He yelled, Dr Siddharth raised both his hands and laughed.

" What happened? Tell me, sir, please! " I said to Parth.

" I am fine!! You enjoy your meal. " He said without looking at me.

" Have you had your lunch?" I asked him.

" Thanks!! It was very nice, but I am sure your friend there, must have told you. Don't worry about me, enjoy yourself with your friends, especially the one who has stopped eating since you left the table. Maybe he lost interest in the food. Please don't waste time here. Go join them or he would not eat. " He said, his every word was reeking of jealousy and sarcasm.

" What does that mean?? Why are you saying all those things?" I asked him.

" Nothing!! I told you, he is on periods. Ignore him. " Dr Siddharth said.

" Sid!! Enough! " Parth yelled.

" Bye, Riya!! You have to come to the wedding. I will wait for you. Please excuse us... I need to cure him. Don't worry, he is fine. " Dr Siddharth said and pulled Parth with him.

What was wrong with him? He acted like a jealous boyfriend.
