Riya's POV

" Stop teasing my friend, she is very shy. " Tanvi said to her cousin.

" Why don't you tell your shy friend to have a dance with me. I love dancing and I don't want to ask a random girl and get slapped by her." He asked and I was surprised.

" No!! I don't know how to dance. " I said out of panic as he asked all of a sudden.

" What nonsense! You are a good dancer. " Tanvi said.

" No, I mean, my foot got hurt again, I can't dance... " I said.

" Stop giving stupid excuses, you just danced with Dr Parth. Why not with bhai?? " Tanvi said.

" He must be someone special for her. Boyfriend?? Maybe she is thinking that he might get Possessive and jealous. " He said with a smile.

" No! He is not my boyfriend. " I said.

" Crush? " He asked and I shook my head but my cheeks turned pink.

" Awww... Crush!! Right? In that case, you must dance with me... He might get a bit jealous that your attention was shifted to someone else. By the way, why did he leave you alone what could be more important than a beautiful girl like you? " He asked.

" There is nothing like that... " I said shaking my head.

" Ok, if you say! One dance, please... " He said and Tanvi pushed me in his direction.

He placed one of his arms around my waist and held my hand in one of his hands. He took me to the middle of the dance floor and danced looking into my eyes.

He was a good dancer but not as good as Dr Parth. He pulled me a bit closer to him but I pushed him back. He looked at me apologetically.

We danced and as soon as the dance was over, I excused myself and I joined Tanvi. Dr Vidyut followed me.

He kept standing there talking to us. I liked talking to him as he was quite easy to talk to. Just then I saw Kunal leaving the hotel in a hurry. I was shocked to see that he was badly injured. His eye was turning to get blue, his lip was cut and his nose was bleeding.

What happened to him?? It seemed, he fought.

I ran to see him and called his name. He halted and turned to look at me.

" What happened to you, Kunal? " I could feel his pain, he was injured. It seemed that someone had beaten him very well.

" Nothing, leave me alone! " He said rudely.

" Come with me, I will give you first aid. " I said.

" Thanks, but no thanks. " He was angry and upset.

" What happened? Have you been fighting? Who did that to you? " I asked him.

" Ask your Dr Parth, not me. What is going on between you?? " He said looking at me.

" What do you mean by that? " I was shocked.

" Don't tell me, you don't know anything. Your precious Dr Parth and his friend Siddharth have beaten me like hell. Siddharth stole my girlfriend and that slut chose him as he is loaded."

" How can you call a woman like that just because she didn't have the same feelings, you had for her? She is in love with Dr Siddhart. I didn't expect it from you. "

" She has been flirting with me till a month back. Today she had gone to the washroom and apparently did not inform her new boyfriend, Siddharth started beating me and Dr Parth joined him. " He said.

" Why? " I was shocked.

" You tell me?? Are you both together?? " He asked me.

" What ?? No!! "

" Don't lie!! Then why did he pull you away right in the middle of the dance? He glared at me there and later on, punched me very hard. He has some obsession with you. He gets annoyed whenever I talk to you or Shruti. Why can't they leave me alone? Today, I could have punched them back but I stopped because they are my senior and I respect them. I tried to make them believe that I had no idea where Shruti was and that there is nothing between you and me, but they kept beating me. Please stay away from me. I don't want to come between him and his obsession. I would suggest you as a good friend stay away from him. He is dangerous. He can do anything for Sid and now he is getting obsessed with you. " He said.

" No!! He is not interested in me. I am his neighbour so he is just a bit overprotective. " I explained.

" Either you are too naive or an idiot. Stay away from him and me, I don't want to get killed by them. " He said and turned to go.

" Kunal!! " I called after him but he did not stop.

I came inside Tanvi and Vidyut were looking at me from the door.

" What happened? " Vidyut asked, he looked very concerned. I just shook my head.

" What happened to that man? Who was he? Was he shouting at you? " Tanvi asked.

" He is Kunal, is also assisting Dr Parth with me. Nothing serious, he slipped into the washroom. "

" He didn't seem to have slipped into the washroom. Someone has beaten him. He must have been involved in a fight. Please stay away from all these men. I don't want both of you to be involved in any scandal. " Dr Vidyut said.

" There is nothing like that. It was nice talking to you, I need to go to the washroom, please excuse me. " I said and ran towards washroom as I wanted to go and find Dr Parth and saw him coming towards the party hall.

Parth's POV

" What happened? What are you doing here? I told you to stay at the party with Tanvi. " I asked her.

" I was looking for you. " She said.

" Are you alright?? " I asked but she didn't say anything just nodded.

" Riya, by any chance, do you have any extra pair of clothes in your car?? " I asked.

" No, I didn't bring my car!! What happened?? " She looked surprised.

" Nothing!! Everything is fine." I said.

" This does not seem fine to me. Please tell me. I just saw Kunal, his face was bleeding. I asked him what happened and he said that you and Siddharth sir have beaten him. " She asked me and looked shocked.

" Yes, we did, we should have killed him. Why did you talk to him again?? I told you to stay away from him. Why don't you trust me??" I was very annoyed.

" Why do you think, I need your permission to talk to anyone? Do you own me? " She asked in an equally annoyed manner.

" Riya, stop this nonsense and come with me. As far as Kunal is concerned, yes, you need my permission. I will kill him if I see him talking to you. " I said.

" Why?? What happened?? " She asked.

" This is not the right time and place to talk about all this. Let's go !" I said turning her towards the party.

" I want to know. " She said but I took her back to the party.

" Have food then we can go home. " I said.

" I am not going anywhere with you till you tell me everything." She insisted on knowing everything.

Just then Tanvi and another medicine doctor came to us.

" Are you alright?? " Tanvi asked even the other doctor looked concerned.

" I am fine, Tanvi... Don't worry, please leave me alone. " Riya said.

" Listen, Riya... If you have any problems, let me know. " The doctor said.
