Parth's POV

Some of the creamy sauce trickled down her lips and she licked it with her tongue.

I even forgot to eat and kept looking at her. She was looking very cute and sexy at the same time, enjoying her food. God, she didn't even know her action was so sensuous.

Oh, how would it feel to lick those soft lips? How would it feel to be licked by that tongue? Lucky pasta...

I felt a kick on my foot and realised that Sid had done that. I looked at him. He wiggled his eyebrow and smiled at me.

I closed my eyes and rubbed the back of my neck with a smile. He winked at me with a grin.

Shit! I was turning into a pervert.

" Since you seemed to have lost interest in your food, I think, I must finish it. It is sinful to waste such a nice pasta. Isn't it, Riya?? " Siddharth said with a wink at me first and then looked at her.

" Yes, sir!! " She said.

" Hey!! Leave my pasta, you said you wanted only a few bites. " I said and pulled my plate back.

" But you are not eating... So I am doing it. " He pulled the plate again and ate another bite.

" I will, I was just a bit distracted. " I said pulling it again.

" Distracted by what?? What can distract you from this sinfully delicious food? " She asked with surprise.

" You... " Sid said with a smirk.

Shit!

" You... leave that, just enjoy your food and then take a pain killer. " I said and glared at him. He pulled the plate and ate another bite to hide his smile.

" Yes, sir! " She said and started eating her food again with gusto.

" What happened? Why do you need to take the pain killer? I mean you can tell me, if you don't mind. " Sid asked her looking at me.

She told him everything. Well, leaving the part that I picked her in my arms yesterday and today.

Thank God!! Or I would have never heard the end of it. He would have teased me.

" Oh, thank God, that Parth was there to help you, isn't it? " He said with a smile at her.

" Y.yeah! Thank you, sir! " She said and looked at me for a fraction of a second. I saw that her cheeks gained a little colour making her look prettier.

Was she blushing? What made her blush??

" It's ok, it was his pleasure!! " He said with a smile and I kicked him. He kept smiling, pulled the plate again and ate.

She finished her food and Sid finished mine.

" Sid!! You idiot!! You ate the most of it. Why didn't you order one for yourself?? " I said with fake anger.

" Awww... I love to share with you. Don't sulk, I will order more. Riya, will you have more? " He asked with a smile.

" No, sir!! I ate the whole plate, it was a bit too much for me already, but it was so good that I finished it. " She shook her head.

Sid ordered one more plate for me when I glared at him.

She took out her cute wallet from her bag to pay for her food, I told her there was no need, but she insisted. Sid told her that the treat was on him as it was a special day for him and he was on top of the world.

She was a bit hesitant but Sid smiled and insisted.

" Congratulations, sir!! Do you mind telling me, the reason for your happiness? " She asked.

" I was in love with someone for many years but my emotions were not reciprocated and recently, we resolved all the issues. " He beamed while saying it. I side hugged him. He looked at me with a smile.

" That's really an occasion to celebrate. Thanks a lot for the wonderful treat. " She said with an uneasy smile.

Why was she getting uneasy?

" Isn't it? Soon, very soon, we are going to announce this to the entire world. I am going to introduce the love of my life to the world at the welcome party. " Sid was grinning from ear to ear. I was really happy for him. He had waited for years for this happiness.

I looked at him and could feel his happiness. I was really happy for him.

" I am so happy and waiting for you to announce that to the entire world. " I said.

" Congratulations!! To b.both of you... I think I must go to the department. Please excuse me. It was very nice talking to you, sir. Thank you so much for telling me about your experience in the field " She said and left soon after that.

" What is going on, Parth? " Sid asked.

" Nothing!! "

" Oh, cut the crap and start telling me, I saw the way you were looking at her. Now tell me or I will not let you eat this plate as well. "

" I don't know, I am intrigued by her... I have been thinking about her since yesterday." I told him everything.

" Wow!! Aren't you going a bit too fast?? I mean you scolded her yesterday in the hospital and picked her in your arms and took her to her bedroom last night. She seems to be a very nice girl. Please take care, don't hurt her." He said.

" I know... I am just intrigued that why is she toning down her beauty? As if she wants to hide behind her fake simple exterior. I was shocked to see her last night. She never wears any makeup, ties her hair in a messy bun, wears oversized, ill-fitted clothes which cover her from chin to toe. She has such nice lush curves, so why is she hiding herself? " I asked.

" Maybe her family is conservative and doesn't allow her to flaunt her beauty. " Sid said.

" I don't think so... If they can allow her to live and work all by herself here in an unknown place, they could not be so conservative. " I argued.

" Then you must get it out of her, maybe she has some insecurities or maybe you can say that she simply has weird fashion sense. " Sid said.

" But then why does she tie her beautiful hair so brutally. It seems she is under some kind of disguise. " I said and he nodded.

" Ask her to come for the welcome party with you. " He smiled.

" Yeah, I will ask her today. " I nodded and smiled.

" All the best, bro!! Need to go, bye. " He said and went away.

I finished my pasta and went to my department. All the three interns were waiting for me. Disha and Kunal greeted me, I nodded at them and we started our day.

Kunal was trying to be friendly with Riya. She was standing for too long and I was about to tell her to sit down but saw that Kunal got a high chair for her to sit.

She shook her head but he said that her foot was getting swollen. She took out the pain killer spray from her bag and was about to use it but he took it from her hand, sat down near her foot and sprayed the pain killer.

What was wrong with that man?? Why could he not concentrate on his work?

I don't know why I wanted to break something in his body and hide all the painkillers present in the hospital.

Idiot!

" Dr Kunal, don't you have any work? Or are you planning to get your work done by someone else? I won't tolerate all that. Better get back to your work before I give you a hell lot of work. " I almost yelled at him. He looked at me as if he was annoyed but didn't say anything and got back to his work.

Idiot!! Tomorrow, I will give him double work.
