The beguiling looks that made me move closer to you, that made me submerge in those eyes that glisten with the love for me. But, not anymore...

Evelyn POV:-

"Stop it! All of you!" We heard a voice and turned to see a girl resembling Myra standing there. She was crying and walked closer.

Myra hands begin to tremble as she produces a vague sound, "Hellen..." My eyes widened in shock when I heard it. Lawrence looked at her as if he knew that she would come here.

"Stop it... " She said in a low tone. I continued to look at her.

"What are you saying? They-" Myra was cut off when Hellen yelled,

"That was all a lie! Nothing like this happened!" By her words, Myra was taken aback so am I.

Lawrence POV:-

Finally, Hellen came, She just recently came back. We met a few weeks ago. and before coming here, I told her about this and to come here as well. Thank God, She came at the right time.

I was in my office then I was told that she is here to meet me.

"Hey.." Hellen smiled and entered. I smiled back and looked at her. "Hey, You still look the same."

She tugged a strand of her hair behind her ears and looked nervous, "Are you alright?" I asked. "Lawrence, I am here to talk to you about a few things." She said, looking away.

"What happened?" I asked her to take a deep breath and her eyes fell upon mine, Evelyn and Skyler's family picture. She smiled and said, "Your family?" I smiled widely and said, "Yes." "Both of them are beautiful..." She said,

"I feel blessed," I said.

"Lawrence... I want to tell you that I am sorry. Because of me, you are seen as the bad person in everyone's eyes. Sister has also tried to cause harm in your business as well as private life. Please forgive me but now I am here, I'll tell everyone everything." She said,

She is right, Myra has tried a lot of malevolence to my business. But I can't let Hellen fall low.

"You don't have to. It's alright." I was reassured. She shook her head and said, "The guilt is eating me up, I want to release the weight of remorse that is eating me up." She said with her head down in shame.

"It's okay.." I smiled as she smiled a little and left.

Then Hellen looked away and began to say what actually happened that day...

"Sister... That day... I.."

"Are you sure, Hellen?" I asked her for the fifth time. But, she was lost in desires. Right now she is sitting in my lap and testing my patience because if I lose myself too she'll regret it.

"Do it, Law~" She cooed in my ears. "I won't," I said sternly. Although I am losing myself, I remain stoic. She winked and moved her hand from my chest to my shoulder and smirked. "You sure?" I asked again. She nodded.

"This will happen with your consent. Remember." I said seriously. She nodded and I wasted no time...

I slowly opened my eyes and saw her crying, the realization hit me what happened.

"What have I done, Lawrence?" She asked, crying. I quickly went to her and wiped her tears, "What happened?" I was concerned.

"You know how strict my family is. If they knew I had a boyfriend they'd never tolerate it and I told them that if I did it with him, they'd surely kill me." She began to cry.

"This forbidden love life takes my life out of me." She continued to cry. I hugged her and kissed her forehead, "I am here, don't worry." I smiled reassuringly.

"What can you do?" She said still crying. "Why did I lose myself?"

"It's alright. Now, Listen to me," I said cupping her cheek.

"After this, We will never be able to meet again. Do you still agree?" I asked and she looked at me and I can see she doesn't want that but still she nodded.

"Tell your elder sister that you have a boyfriend and you went to a party with you last night and he drugged you and you agreed and let all this happen," I explained.

"But, With this, you'll be astounded because of it." She said,

"It's alright. You just have to act as if you have me now and you never want this."

"You just have to be sure this doesn't become a police case of molestation. I have the pride of my family, you know." I said. She nodded and hugged me,

"I am so sorry baby!" She cried and I rubbed her back. "It's okay." I stood up and wore my shirt and smiled at her.

"I'll tell my father and Uncle Edward everything. So that they make sure, this doesn't become much of an issue."

She held my hand and said, "Kiss me before leaving." I cupped her cheeks and kissed her passionately. "Farewell Hellen.," I said and left...

To make the matter look real, I told Evelyn this and tried to say sorry to her and she even slapped me to make it realistic. To prevent this matter from turning into a matter of media, KIte family sent her out of the country and we began to live our lives as if this never happened...

Myra's eyes widened when she heard it as the gun fell from her hands. She even let go of Skyler. Skyler is a small kid, how can she walk properly? My body lost its strength when I saw Skyler was alone with no support.

Evelyn quickly opened her arms and called her, "Come!" When she heard it, she ran towards Evelyn and hugged her. Evelyn kissed her forehead and began to cry.

I hugged them too and then Adrian came with the police,

"My baby.." Evelyn said, kissing Skyler and continued to cry.

Why did the police and everyone come?

Before leaving Evelyn whispered,

"It's Myra. She wants you, not me. You'll follow me and tell Adrian to come to the Kite's new building construction site with the police after 30 minutes."

After Evelyn left I told Adrian that and also called Hellen.

"Hellen, Come to your new building construction site and tell everyone the truth," I said and went after Evelyn.

Evelyn continued to cry as I hugged both of them. Police arrested Myra and we all went home.

1 Week Later:-

Everything is back to normal. We are back at home. We refused to file a complaint against Myra. She doesn't know the truth now that she did, she is filled with penitence.

Myra came and asked for forgiveness,

"Please, I am sorry. Please... I just lost myself in hatred.." She begged.

"I can forgive you for the harm you caused me but not for the harm you caused my family. I am sorry, please leave." I said.

"I will. I'll never come into life again. But please forgive me." She said, I opened my mouth but Evelyn held my arm, I looked at her and she smiled,

"We forgive you." She said, I looked at her in disbelief. "How can you say that?" I said angrily. She continued to smile and called Skyler,

"Yesh Mama," Skyler said in her usual cheery voice. Evelyn bend and asked,

"Do you forgive her?" Skyler looked at her and smiled,

"She gave me a bar of chocolate! She's nice!" She shouted in glee. My eyes widened as I looked at her. She was looking away. Hellen was also standing behind her along with Tyron.

"We'll never come in your life again. We just want forgiveness." Myra said again. Since they have no parents and Myra is the eldest , she is like a mother to her family and that's why we didn't file a complaint.

"When they have forgiven you, how can I hold any hatred for you? I forgive you too." I smiled. She smiled and left... They all did...
