“Evelyn…” Calling her softly, I kissed the back of her palm.

"I want to drench in that rain of yours that has witnessed the darkest night which has the wind of love entirely made for me in it and only I can indulge myself in it. That rain of yours, desired by many but no one can receive that gratification, would you like to give me the honor of losing myself in that rain?"

I asked as I stared deep in those silver eyes that had bangs under them now. She looked at me with wide eyes as a blush formed on her face. She lowered her gaze and said shyly,

"Yes, I would love to."

I gave her a side hug and said, "I missed you. More than you can imagine. My breath was insufficient, my heartbeat was restricted, I was incomplete but now I have you and I am perfect now, I want nothing else and I trust you and have faith in you."

I pulled away and we both smiled at each other,

"Please forgive me," I said.

"Me too. For hiding this." I caressed her cheeks and said,

"We will not talk about it anymore. Bury it along with this matter." I said as I moved my hand to her cold and dry lips. She looked down and replied with an 'okay'.

I moved my other hand to her neck and moved her close to me.

I stare at her irresistible appearance. Her beauty never ceases. Her angelic features give me an immense feeling of delight.

Her alluring form, everything about her entices me to lose myself in them.

We moved closer as our lips brushed against each other. I shivered at the feeling of the divine that surged through me. I closed my eyes as I kissed her.

Our lips moved in synchronization and I felt fluttering happiness inside me. A feeling of desperation for her was released as she wrapped her hands around me and scooted closer. Her demeanor evoked a sensation of lust and need in me.

I allow myself to melt in the delicacy of the kiss. Losing my senses, I pinned her to bed and kissed her roughly but passionately.

Just the moment I thought that I was a bit harsh and was about to pull away, she moaned in the kiss and pulled me closer.

Receiving invigorate from her, I was completely enthralled in the kiss.

It was celestial, the thirst of a month; after meeting our needs.

We pulled away and I was about to get away but she held my tie and winked at me. Her reflex ignite the fierce fire inside me as I smirked and whispered in her ears,

"How desperate you are..."

She smirked back and we both had a staring competition as I stared at her appealing eyes. Her exquisite gray eyes.

After staring deep and losing ourselves in those pools of fondness, we both let out a chuckle as we sat up. She hugged me again as I kissed her forehead.

"Never leave me again. I can't live without you. I am nothing without you." She said sadly as I rubbed her back.

"So am I. And I promise I will never leave you again. We'll overcome all the obstacles together." I said and kissed her hands.

We remained like that for a while then I suddenly picked her up like a bridal style.

"L-Lawrence.." She stuttered.

"You seemed so fragile, So I thought that you can't walk."

"I can walk." She said but I ignored her and took her out. We walked down as Jane smirked at us and shouted,

"Lawrence is kidnapping our Evelyn!"

“She belongs to me in the first place! She is my Evelyn!”

Uncle and Aunt came as they looked at us. Evelyn hid her face in my chest and I took in the hall with her in my arms.

"Oh, Evelyn, You haven't washed your face or brushed your teeth. We'll be back." I said and took her to her room for her to get ready.

Evelyn POV:-

My exhilaration is beyond any words. I can't explain how I am feeling. After a painfully long time, I am feeling exuberant.

The feeling of glee is well past its extent. I want to lose myself in those dazzling green eyes that finally realized that in this world, he matters the most to me. The yearning of his touch and tenderness of his touch.

I was wanting this passionately. Now, I have everything I desire, I want nothing else but him. The feeling of endearment filled me up when he picked me up.

I blushed madly when he put me down. I was about to enter the bathroom but he held my waist as my back met his hard chest.

"Lawrence.." I spoke a little louder than a whisper.

"I love it when you call my name.." He whispered on my neck and my heart skipped a beat as my whole being was filled with content.

I giggle and close my eyes. He let go of me as I went to the bathroom and walked out. He smiled widely at me and tried to pick me but I ran into a corner.

He smirked as I laughed. I tried to run but he caught me with ease and picked me again.

"When my wife is that weak, how can I let her do anything.." He said. I looked away as we went to the dining hall again.

I felt embarrassed. We smiled at everyone as he made me sit and sit beside me.

"That's the look you are missing all these days," Jane said teasingly.

"I'll say the same to you when you're married," I said.

Father cleared his throat to get our attention. He looked at us and said,

"I don't know what happened. But, make sure this never happens again." Father said strictly. I looked down and Lawrence smiled at father,

"I will. And I apologize for my rudeness. I swear, this will never happen again." He said modestly.

"It's okay." Father said. Lawrence turned his attention to me and picked up a spoonful of yogurt and put it close to my mouth,

"Open your mouth, Evelyn." He said. I looked at mother and father and then away. I didn't open my mouth.

"What happened, Evelyn? You don't like it? You have to eat, look how pale you have become." He said concern.

I looked at my parents again so that he can get a hint that they are here and thankfully he did but he instead smirked and whispered,

"I have fed you in front of everyone, your parents are also present at our reception. So, why are you being shy now?", "That was different," I whispered back.

"No, that wasn't."

"Maybe we should leave. Uncle, Aunt," Jane said. Mother and Father laughed a little and mother said, "Come on Evelyn, eat."

I gave a tentative nod and opened my mouth a little as he fed me. He smiled and kissed my cheek. My heart began to pace so fast, how can he do this in front of my parents?

Oh, he is my husband, he can do it. I smiled widely and let it feed me.
