Since Sandra heard that Samantha is alive, and that her plans didn't work, she started feeling a gnawing sense of guilt, which was also mixed with fear and anxiety. She haven't been able to tell what Craig is up to. She kept asking herself. Could it be that he already knows, what is going on? Is it possible that he suspects her? Why is he not saying anything.
Her emotions were tangled, with the cold grip of guilt, estranging her.
Her failed plans to orchestrate Samantha's demise, weighed heavily on her conscience, that each passing minute fueled her fear and ominous shadow.
She noticed Craig kept giving her the look, and that only increased her fear. She felt haunted, whenever, he calls her into his office, she would feel like he is calling to hand her over to the police. She noticed that he has been making so much calls of late, and he is always careful not to make any call close to her hearing, but then, on this particular day that she was getting this strange look from him, she heard him making a call.
"Wow, I knew you would find them, don't worry, all we need is find out who sent them". Was all Sandra heard, and she became all the more worried that her end have finally come. The taunting realization of her actions, left her in perpetual inner turmoil.
She started looking for a way to leave the office at that instant, she just need to go away, meet with someone, who could help her reach the men she paid to carry out the plan. She could only hope and pray that they don't call her name.
"Sandra? He called her into his office for the upteenth time, only that this time, she feels it even stronger in her heart that he is going to hand her over to the police. Already she have heard him say all he needs to know is who sent the guys.
When she got into his office, she didn't have the balls to ask him, or make her self known. Her self esteem seem to have been stolen away from her. Craig noticed she was already standing behind him, so he spoke to her, without looking at her, which further increased her fears.
For the past two days, you didn't see Samantha here, and you haven't even bother to ask? He started, and she quickly replied.
"I am so sorry boss, but she is just a staff like every other person, and she isn't here, she is at Winlowtech, so I do not know why I should take special interest in her. I understand that she used to be your teacher, and she helped you a lot, but she is still a staff". Craig was surprised, because he didn't know that, she sees Samantha as just a staff to him. He thought that she already knew that he is inlove with her, even if she doesn't know that he is married to her. He also sensed jealousy, and the reason he had asked her, was because she used to be one of his closest staff, even though, their closeness decreased greatly, after Samantha came into the picture.
"Don't worry, about what I said earlier, you can go back to your office". Craig says, then he called a number again, she stayed close to the door to hear what he would say, but sadly, he heard nothing. She had gathered all the courage in the world that she can gather to answer him earlier, now that he didn't say any other thing, her fears have once again, increased. She was wrestling with the echoes of her ill conceived Plans, that failed, she could no longer wait for the day to be over, as a matter of fact, how she got through the day was a miracle, she didn't wait for Craig, as everyone was closing to go home, she had to go home too. Juliet was surprised that she didn't have anything to say to her, and she just walked past her to go home, she knew something was up, she needed to follow her, so that she can know, what she is hiding. That time, she wasn't able to find out, because before she would follow her, she was already out of sight, but she could tell that something was up, and since they are after the same man, she needed to know what Sandra is planning, so that she would knock her out.
She decided to visit Sandra's house that day, with a plan, that she will use as an excuse, as to why she came to her house.
When Sandra heard the knock on her door, she was scared once again. The guilt was overwhelming.
She had failed in her plans to eliminate Samantha, and now only fear, seem to be locking around her.
She hesitated before getting the door, and even before she got the door, she had to look through the window, to be sure that she was safe, because though it isn't so late, it was already late, and people should be at their houses.
She had initially planned to go straight to the hideouts of the boys she sent to help carry out her plan, but something in her, told her that Craig's men, might be following her, so she decided to reach out to them instead, and she started calling since then, but no one answered her call, which resulted to her jumpy attitude, she was still trying the number when the knock was heard, so she really wasn't in the right frame of mind, to speak to the person she was looking at, from her window, but she was less dangerous, so she got the door for her.
"Juliet, what are you doing here? Did something happen? Is Craig okay? Is he looking for me? Her questions were endless, and Juliet could not tell where she was going with all the questions.
"No, Not at all, ( She says, using her hands to show that she isn't there for a serious issue) but I came to tell you about next week, what I have planned for next week". She says.
Sandra searched around, as if trying to read what she was talking about, in the space. before she added.
Next week is the party remember?
That was when she opened her eyes wide.
They is a party for all the companies under Apple and even the baby companies that was bought by Apple. Their staff and board of directors will all be available, it is going to be a huge one, it is actually their annual party.
"Oh yes, I remember, what about it? She asked.
"Are you not going to let me in? She asked, and that was when Sandra realize that she was standing outside.
"Please come in, but you have to be quick, I have a place to be.
"No problems, I also have a place to be, just that I wanted to tell you this at the office, but you seem lost and too scared, even the boss noticed it and he said something about it". Sandra gasped.
"What did he say? Juliet expected such reaction, she decided to use it to her advantage.
"He says, you are acting like you have done something terrible and you are afraid, but I didn't think so, the only terrible thing you would do, is taking Samantha out, and it is both our plan, you cannot do it without telling me". She was trying to get her to spill, as she already knows that Samantha is at home, taking treatment.
"In fact, I am no longer interested in that, I have a much bigger problem". She lied, then she added.
Craig is never going to love me, so I guess I should get used to that". Juliet didn't believe her, she nodded her head and then says.
"If that is the case, I guess my coming here is useless, because I was thinking of a plan, and I wanted to share it with you, but since you are no longer in the business, I should go home". Sandra was tempted to ask her what her plans are, but she needed to take care of one business first, so she allowed her leave, nodding her head that she is really isn't interested in taking the lady out anymore.
As soon as Juliet was gone, she called back again, and was able to get one of them on the phone, she ordered that they leave town, since Craig was looking for then, but his response, shocked her.
"Craig have one of us already, but I could help you take him out, so he doesn't say anything if you will pay in five billion dollars into my account". That was an insane amount, she ended the call, called back again and tried to bargain, but that was her mistake, because he refused taking anything less. Where would she get such an amount. Only Craig could have such an amount.
She was officially Doomed.
